AVA
The final few days of our visit flew by. We went to see the last of my friends, and then we had the big cookout my dad had set up.
Cyrus met my extended family there, and they all got along great. Most of them had been a bit hesitant at first, what with the quick engagement and my past, but they all warmed up to him.
He seemed friendlier than usual. I wondered if he was putting up another front, but a kind one this time.
I hoped that one day heâd get to be his true self around everyone, but I understood heâd better try to win them over for now.
On our last day, my parents and Maisy dropped us off at the airport, and we held each other tightly while saying goodbye.
âCome back soon,â my mom said.
âWe will, Mom.â
She closed Cyrus in her embrace next. âThank you for being so good to our daughter. For showing her the love she deserves.â
Cyrus smiled at her. âThank you for trusting me with her.â
My dad was next, pressing me into his chest. His embrace felt warm and nostalgic. He hugged me a little tighter before releasing me.
âIâll miss you,â he signed and wiped a tear from his eye. âCome back soon.â
âI promise,â I said out loud as I took Cyrus by the hand.
Maisy was looking at her phone, waiting for her turn to say goodbye. âOh my god!â she yelled out. âKlein technology is getting shut down?â
She turned her phone so I could see, and I snatched it out of her hand. âFraud?â I looked at Cyrus, who had the slightest hint of a smile on his lips.
âYou did this?â I mouthed.
âI donât know what youâre talking about.â He shrugged quasi-innocently. âGuess they mustâve uncovered some deeply buried stuff.â
I looked at him for a long moment, until even my parents and Maisy seemed to be catching on to our staredown.
âDoubt anyone will want to work with him after this,â Cyrus said. âI think I heard somewhere that his criminal recordâwhich seemed to have some well-placed coffee stains, so to speakâhas been dusted off too.â
We said goodbye to everyone one more time and went to our gate to wait for our plane. Cyrus took care of some business on his phone while I read a magazine.
At some point, I glanced over at him and noticed he had a quizzical look on his face.
âWhatâs up?â
âNothing,â he said, his face unchanged.
âTell me.â I was getting slightly worried.
He looked at me and sighed. âI wasnât going to tell you yet.â
âTell me what?â
âI started something new.â
âYour new branch?â I felt a twinge of excitement.
âA foundation.â
âOh?â I tucked my legs under me so I was sitting on my knees. âThat sounds cool. What kind of foundation?â
Cyrus scratched the back of his head and looked at me intently. âAid for Vital Accessibility. Or AVA, for short.â
âW-what?â My heart was doing flips in my chest.
âItâs not fully set up yet, but we just received a ratherâ¦large donation. From my father. The description said, âputting my money where my mouth is,â like I had told him to do when we went to see him.â
I swallowed thickly, trying to wrap my head around all the information Iâd just received. âA foundationâ¦â
â~Your~ foundation,â he corrected me. âThe dream you have to provide accessibility and information for everyone.
âIâm in the process of hiring deaf tutors, and we already have a bunch of admissions from families, even though we havenât even fully launched yet.â
I heard the excitement in his voice, which caused a whole new wave of hot sparks to surge through me.
âCyrus. I donât know what to say. This is the best gift anyone has ever given me.â
He picked me up and lifted me onto him, wrapping his arms around me. âItâs a nonprofit. So my fatherâs donation is an actual donation, not a business opportunity for him.â
I looked up at him, tears clouding my vision. I kissed him softly. âThatâs wonderful, Cy. Iâm so glad heâs coming around. And Iâm so lucky to have you.â
Cyrus kissed me back, his hands running up and down my back, making me shiver with delight. âIâm the lucky one,â he said.

We boarded the plane, and the flight attendant pointed us to our seats in the almost empty business class.
We got settled in, and Cyrus started telling me all there was to know about the AVA foundation.
Heâd started setting it up the night I told him about my tutoring, when he was sitting in the car outside Dannyâs house.
I listened in awe, completely dumbfounded by his ability to just set up an entire foundation like that.
And heâd listened too. Heâd taken all my wishes into account. All the staff would be either deaf or hard of hearing. Care would be provided based on the familiesâ needs.
Children would be aided into adulthood with any problem they might run into, like finding suitable education or jobs. There would also be peer groups and even camps and other events.
It was more than I could have ever hoped for.
Halfway through the flight, Cyrus got up and scooted past me. âIâm going to go freshen up. Can I bring you back a drink?â
âIâm okay,â I said and returned my attention to my notebook.
Iâd spent most of the flight sketching out logo ideas for the foundation. I continued sketching, but then I glanced up and caught the last glimpse of Cyrus entering the business class bathroom.
My eyes quickly scanned the cabin around me. There were three other passengers, and all of them were asleep. There was no flight attendant in sight.
I felt my heartbeat in my throat as I got up, so nervous that I almost felt nauseous.
I stumbled into the aisle and slowly made my way toward the lavatory. I told myself I could just pretend to be waiting in line if anyone noticed me standing there.
Just as I walked up, Cyrus opened the bathroom door. He looked surprised to see me there, and he stepped out to give me room to enter, gesturing like an usher, saying, âAll yours.â
I stepped in and grabbed his jacket and pulled him with me.
His eyes narrowed as I pushed him into the door and locked it behind him. âAva, what are you doing, baby?â
I gave him an innocent smile, batting my eyelashes dramatically. âJust checking on you, Mr. Brentstone. Is there anything I can do for you?â
His gaze started turning feral as he walked me backward a few steps until my butt bumped into the counter. âI could think of a few things if you insist.â He lifted me onto the counter.
âOh,â I said, âI insist.â
The nerves Iâd felt earlier had been replaced by another feeling: lust. I craved him. I craved his hands running over my body and his hips thrusting into me.
I looked at his face and was once again swept off my feet by how beautiful he was. I could never get enough of him.
The sheer thought of him being mine and me being his caused my heart to flutter and dizziness to fog my brain.
Cyrus was watching me intently, his head tilted back slightly, his eyes half-closed. His hands found his belt on their own and unbuckled it. He unbuttoned his pants and undid his zipper.
I took a shaky breath as my eyes surveyed his body. He slid his hands up my thighs, hiking my skirt up with them.
âDo you want this to be quick, or should I take my time?â
âI want quick.â
He slid my hips toward him so that I was barely sitting on the counter anymore. He pulled my panties to the side and pulled out his hardened cock in the same movement.
âThis might hurt a little.â He thrust himself into me.
I doubled over at the sudden pain inside me, but Cyrus pushed me back up.
âItâll feel good soon, I promise.â
His lips brushed over my neck, sending shivers down my spine. I straightened my back and bit my lip as I nodded. Cyrus started pumping in and out of me, and my pain started to be replaced by pleasure.
âBetter?â
âYesâ¦,â I moaned.
âGood?â
âMm-hmmâ¦â
âFucking hell, Aves.â He nuzzled my hair, right behind my ear. His teeth scraped my neck again.
âBite me,â I said, surprising myself.
He leaned his head back a little, looking at me with one brow raised. I took a deep breath. No going back now.
âBite me again.â
He picked up his pace, thrusting into me harder and harder. âYou liked that?â he asked under his breath.
I nodded, my orgasm sneaking up on me slowly.
Cyrus wound his fist into my hair, pulling my head to the side to expose my neck to him. He dragged his teeth down the length of it before suddenly champing them down, ~hard~.
I gasped, grabbing his shoulders and arching into him as my mind clouded over with my orgasm.
I felt my core clutch around him involuntarily as I let out a sharp moan, and I felt his hands grab my ass as he lifted me off the counter and pulled me into him even more.
He was now fully carrying me as he emptied himself into me, his teeth scraping the tender spot on my skin he had just bitten.
His eyes were closed, and his body twitched as he kept pressing my body into his, waiting to regain control of his limbs again.
He slowly pulled himself out of me and set me back down. We stood there for a second, looking at each other as if in a daze. I suddenly realized where we were, and I cleared my throat.
âGo,â I whispered, once we had cleaned ourselves up. I pushed him toward the door.
Cyrus grabbed the handle and looked back at me.
âGo!â A small smile crept onto my lips.
Cyrus smirked at me as he pulled the door open, and my breath caught in my throat as I made eye contact with the flight attendant who was standing on the other side, looking at us. At ~both~ of us.
