I LOOKED at myself in the mirror as I tied the black bow which was according to my tuxedo. I picked up my watch and locked it around my wrist. I kept looking at myself in the mirror and I kept thinking that I, the King would finally reveal itself.
There were innumerable thoughts that were running in my mind but the most anticipating one was the reaction that I would get from the people once they see who the king is. I heard a knock on the door as I was fixing my hair.
"King, we've just had a talk with the drivers which were sent to each pack and they said that they'll arrive shortly," One of my wolf generals, Damian said. I nodded my head and signaled him to leave.
I was ready, not just clothing wise but I was ready to meet the people. I walked towards my balcony that was situated in my room. Fresh, crispy air started coming as I opened the doors.
The moon was shining brightly in the sky as if it was happy and satisfied. I held the railing tightly. I had this strange feeling in my gut, was I nervous? But for what? I've ruled these people for hundreds of years and I don't think there will be a difference once I uncover my self.
My mind was starting to get apparent, I was relaxing. The sensation that I was feeling was quite strange. I felt peace, for the first time in my life. I felt as if I am going to be fulfilled. What was happening to me? I sighed deeply, my heart was beating very fast, the kind of fast that brought anxiety but at the same time, I felt serenity. There was absolutely something wrong with me.
From the far end of the kingdom, I saw a car moving towards the castle. Must be the Alpha and Luna of a side and behind the car were other cars that were approaching too, must be the people. My room was in the far and at the top corner of the castle so the people couldn't see me at this very moment but I could.
As the first car stopped, I saw two men and two women step out. From what I could hear the first man was the Alpha of the East and beside him was his brother and two women which were beside them were Luna and their daughter. Just when I was about to leave, I saw someone else, a lady, come out of the car, and before I could see the person, the wind blew so harshly that I had to cover my eyes.
And when my vision became clear, I could no longer see the Alpha's family.
"King, your mother is calling," I heard Damian say from behind and I nodded and walked out of my room while giving a longing look to the balcony.
I passed several rooms and corridors. I had Dorian beside me and I was notifying him,"Welcome all the guests sincerely in the hall where the ball will hold. Strengthen the security, alert the wolves."
I entered my mother's room, she was sitting on the bed and was fully dressed. My mother looked beyond beautiful, she was wearing an emerald green gown with matching jewelry and shoes. She looked up at me and smiled.
"Come here my handsome boy," she said and patted the space next to her. I smiled at her and sat beside her taking her small hand in mine as I looked at my mother's eyes that clearly showed happiness.
"I have faith in you, I know you're hesitant but I also know that you will be the best king for your people. You don't have to prove anything because I know you Vincentius, I have decided that after midnight, I am going to crown you," Mother said as she kissed my forehead.

The castle was huge and was so glorious that I couldn't take my eyes off it. The top of the castle looked as if it was touching the sky limits. It covered so many tremendous lands that I couldn't tell where it ended. My thoughts were interrupted when I felt Sophia nudge my shoulders, I looked at her with an inquisition face.
"Oh Goddess, it's so beautiful, wow." Sophia yelped in excitement. Right now, Sophia looked like one of those little kids who get happy upon receiving their favorite candy.
The castle was surrounded with endless guards, some of the guards were glued to their positions while some were marching around the castle. They held determined and expressionless faces. All were well built with armed costumes. One of the royal wolf generals ushered us to come in. Sophia held my hand tightly, all of us were very apprehensive and excited at the same time.
We walked on the royal carpet; I felt over the moon as if I was one of the royals. In front of me stood the main door that was covered with different sort of jewels. The door automatically opened giving us a little view of the inside of the castle.
I felt as if I was in another world; where everything was beyond beautiful. As we walked I couldn't help but admire each and everything. I couldn't tell how far the ceiling was. It was as if the castle never ended. Just in front of it was a giant staircase that looked as if it was made of pure gold, the whole castle was polished with pure gold.
There were werewolf soldiers at every inch of the corner of the castle, I guess the Royals kept very high and strict security.
Just behind us came the Alpha and Luna of the South and behind them were their pack members.
I must say, everything was on point, only two sides including us came and we were notified that the rest are on their ways. We were ushered into one of the rooms that was highlighted as the grand room.
Sophia and Dominic were beside me and they too couldn't take their eyes of the beautiful looking castle. The guard opened the room and we all entered, we had to put our masks as soon as we all reached, so no one could recognize one another. We all were hiding behind this beautiful facade but we'll soon unmask ourselves too.
I held Sophia's hand tightly because I didn't want my self to get lost in such a big room with thousands of unknown people.
"Sophia, I am scared,'' I said as my eyes took in the massive room along with the number of people.
"I know me too, don't worry. Dominic and I are here with you, no matter what happens don't leave our sight, okay?" She said while I nodded.
A weird feeling was dancing in my stomach; I felt as if my senses were heightened, I felt anxious. It must be due to the number of people that were invited. I have never been around so many people in my life. Papa looked at me and smiled, he must be enjoying all this.
Before my mama's death, papa was a very social person because he was an Alpha too, he had many friends but after my mom's death, he has kept himself reserved.
Slowly, the room was filled with all the sides, everyone fitted perfectly. The room was jam-packed, it was spacious even when five thousand people covered it. I just wanted to see the Royals and my wish was accepted when I heard the gates of the room open as I heard footsteps approaching.
I turned around to see them and to say that I was beyond amazed would be a huge understatement.
