Bellamy Rose

I WAS WAY too excited for this journey to start. Not that I was saying that the journey to the previous sides was any lesser but there was this specialty on a journey where you travel back to your home.

"I am so excited. I can't wait to surprise Papa. I cant wait to see his reaction," I said, trying to express my happiness.

"Haha, patience is the key to success, dear mate,'' Vincent joked.

"My dear mate, I lack in patience,'' I mused too.

Things had gotten so different lately, but it was a good difference.

One thing that I've known throughout my life was that everyone would receive their fair share. You will get what is meant for you; you're going to receive your portion even if it is as deep as the ocean's bed. And if a fraction is just close to your mouth but isn't meant for you will not be able to reach your taste buds.

With this being said, a person will go through happy times but as well as hard, crucial times too.

I was so deep in my thought that I didn't realize my phone ringing. I was brought back into reality when Vincent slightly shook me. He gestured towards my phone before raising his eyebrow questioning.

"How far you?" My best friend, Sophia directly asked over the phone.

I decided to annoy her over the phone since she did the same on our last phone call.

"Um, Hello? Who is this? Sorry, I don't accept calls from a stranger," I said as I snickered. Vincent looked at me and shook his head smiling and knowing that I was teasing my best friend.

"Stop being a pain in the ass, Belle. Tell me so I can arrange a surprise. I have been avoiding Dominic and Valerie for hours. They must be assuming that I am dead by now," She said fully showing how stressed she was with the whole surprise thing.

"Poor you. I am probably like three hours away. I think I'll reach there by night," I said as I looked at Vincent confirming myself about the timing.

"Oh, okay. I will plan something. I'll probably tell our dork-face of a best friend and Val to meet me outside your place making an excuse that it's been ages since we've last met Uncle Leo. Honestly, we met your father like the day before yesterday," She said and I rolled my eyes knowing my best friend probably met Papa so that she could eat her favorite dish made by him.

"Whatever, all I know is that I want a huge surprise," I said, feeling like a spoiled brat. I could practically feel Sophia rolling her eyes yet again over the phone and making a grimacing face.

"Please, Belle. You're only going to receive a bar of chocolate. I'll have to keep the phone now. Love you. Bye," She said as I declined the call.

"That's quite a friendship," Vincent said in an amused tone. I nodded in approval and sat back as I stared out of the window. I felt my eyes slowly shutting down as sleep started taking over.

After what felt like a blissful eternity of my sleep I was finally woken up. As soon as I woke up I felt happy thinking that we've finally reached the Eastern side. I was about to get out of the car when Vincent held me and said,

''We are out of gas." The smile that had taken over my face not minutes ago had turned into one of the worst grim faces to ever exist.

"What do you mean? Out of gas?" I said my voice slightly wavering.

"We're just an hour and a half away from the Eastern side. We are on the outskirts right now," He said with a sad smile trying to cheer me up.

"Okay," I said with a huge sigh. There wasn't even a gas station that we could see.

"What are we going to do now?" I asked as I got out of the car following Vincent.

"What if we don't find gas? How will we reach there?" I asked thinking of all the possible outcomes.

"We can't call your father and tell him that we are just outside the Eastern side. That would just kill the whole surprise. We'll have to walk then," He said and I nodded in agreement.

After twenty minutes we saw Damien coming with nothing in his hand. Great, no gas My inner wolf thought. I looked at Vincent and nodded.

"Looks like we have a long walk ahead," I said in a sarcastic voice. I know I was showing my attitude for no reason. My moods are according to my Wolf's moods. If she's feeling sour then automatically I'll feel sour too.

We started walking. I was walking ahead with Vincent and his little wolf team behind. I was huffing and puffing throughout my journey. Don't blame me, blame my wolf.

"Hey," Vincent said whilst jogging towards me. He stopped me and made me look at him. I looked everywhere except in his eyes.

"I am sorry for all this. I know you want to reach there in no time and if it were in my hands I'd do it in a flick. But love, I can't," Vincent said as he held my face in his palms. His soothing words will be the death of me.

"I know, My mood is irrational. I am sorry," I mumbled as I finally stated in his eyes.

"Don't, I know that our inner wolves have this effect on ourselves," He said as we continued walking together.

After what seemed like an hour we saw a car approaching us. Damien and Dorian started waving at the car in hopes of it to give us life.

Bless the guy behind the wheels as they pulled over towards us.

"You guys need some help?" The man looked in his mid-forties and he had a lady sitting beside him too.

"Yes, actually we do. Our car broke down and we need a lift," Dorian said and Damien beside him nodded in agreement.

"Not an issue, where do you kids want me to drop off?" He asked as he opened the back doors.

''Just drop us at the entrance of the Eastern side. We'll take a taxi from there," I replied. The man and his lady probably his mate nodded and we sat in the car thanking moon goddess.

After half an hour we saw ourselves entering the Eastern side. I wanted to squeal, jump, and laugh from happiness but I restrained myself. I hurriedly messaged Sophia that we've reached. We planned to take a taxi and reach my home.

"Thank you so much. May the Moon goddess bless you," Vincent said genuinely with a small smile.

"Come on King," Dorian said and we trailed behind them. It was easy to find a taxi since the area in which we were was the taxi stand. The taxi was called and we sat in. Shortly after we reached my home.

It was all the same. The same white fence that I hated stood outside the home. I remember the times where I used to beg Papa to remove this fence.

I called Sophia to let her know that we were just outside the house.

After a minute Sophia sneaked outside and came running towards me as she enveloped into a hug.

"God, I missed you so much," She mumbled. I laughed at her actions. Just hours ago she didn't want to receive my calls and now she's become an emotional wreck.

"I missed you too, where's everyone?" I asked. She giggled and I raised my eyebrow in question.

"They are all inside. I've blindfolded them and tied them with chairs," She said as she laughed hysterically.

"What? Are you crazy?" I laughed. Oh Goddess, this girl.

We all went inside. I was met by a hilarious view of all three of my people struggling with ropes. I couldn't help but laugh. Sophia instructed Dorian and Damien to follow her. She went behind Valerie while Damien and Dorian went behind Papa and Dominic. On the count of three, they removed the blindfolds to surprise Papa.

"Dude, this hurt-What the heck, Bellamy?" Dominic yelled which caused Papa to jerk up and look towards my way.

"BELLAMY," He yelled too. By now, all three of them were struggling with getting themselves out of this tied trap. It was a sight to see.

"Sophia, sweetheart as much as I love you and consider you as my daughter know that if you don't untie me within seconds I will kill you," Papa tried to threaten Sophia but failed miserably. My stomach pained from all the laughter.

"Vincent my son, tell them to untie. I want to hug my daughter, please," Papa said which made my heart melt. I decided to go and untie Papa myself.

After untying him, he instantly brought me in for a hug.

"My princess, I missed you dearly," He said with slight tears in his eyes. Slowly the whole fun scene turned into an emotional one as I sniffed onto the tears that freely escaped my eyes.

"Oh come on. Stop crying, it makes me want to cry too," Dominic whined. I forgot that Dominic existed too. I went to him and hit the back of his head.

"I missed you, Dork's face," I joked as he brought me in for a bear hug too. I hugged Valerie as well. Everybody greeted Vincent too, Papa even hugged him which caught him off guard.

By now, all of us sat in the living room. I was sitting in between Papa and Sophia while Vincent sat opposite us with Dominic.

"How was the journey?" Papa asked raising a conversation.

"The car ride was very fun. But our car broke down just a little far from the outskirts. Bellamy wasn't happy about it though," He said as he chuckled. Of course, my mate had to put that in between. Sophia nudged me and snickered while giving a wink. I hushed her down without being obvious but unfortunately, my mate must've noticed our little action as he smirked.

"You have to tell me everything," Sophia whispered-yelled. I had to pinch her to tone her down, she gave a glare in response.

It was already dark outside. "You guys must be tired. I have two spare guestrooms. Dorian and Damien can share one. Vincent can stay in Bellamy's room, I guess," Papa said and everyone nodded.

"King, I hope you don't mind staying in the guestroom alone. I mean, I have a lot of things that need to be shared with my best friend" Sophia said directing to Vincent.

Vincent gave a stiff smile and said," I understand."

Dominic and Valerie had to leave early but they promised that they'll get here early in the morning. Before going into my room with Sophia, I went into the guest room first.

"Vincent, do you need anything?" I asked him as he was pulling out a shirt and some pants from the suitcases. He looked at me and smiled.

"Nope. All good," He said as gave me a thumbs up and a smile in return.

"Alright, I'll head towards my room before Sophia turns all lunatic on me," I chuckled.

After receiving a good night and a kiss on the forehead I was back in my room. As soon as I entered my room a wave of nostalgia hit me. Many memories came swarming in my mind as I took a deep breath. Everything was the same, not that it's been years just months but all was the same.

"Nothing has changed," I mumbled.

"Exactly, it's all the same," Sophia said from behind me and I turned around. She had a lot of snacks in her hands; Doritos, Cream puffs, pretzels, ice cream, you name it. I squealed in excitement. This was going to be a long night...

"Spill the beans," She said while giving me a wicked smile. Oh moon goddess, save me.

We sat on my bed with snacks around us as we snuggled in the blanket. I decided to tell her everything from the start.

"Okay you know the beginning about how Vincent didn't really take me in knowledge but now everything has changed," I said. Sophia looked at me and nodded.

"I know, I mean I saw your little moment in the living room and I was all baffled. I mean how and when?" She said as excitement boozed out of her. I laughed at her childish antics.

"I honestly have no idea, Soph. He just changed. Okay, there may be a little secret. Let's just say that he was restricted to love me. And he's not restricted anymore. Before coming here, Vincent and I went to this place it's on the southern side. It's so beautiful I can't even express the amount of beauty it held. Anyways, there and then Vincent poured his heart out to me. And I was shocked, Sophia. It was such a blissful moment. Even now, when I recall it I get teary," I said as a smile made its way to my face.

"I am so happy for you Bellamy. Now, let's just wait for my mate," She said as sadness was evident in her voice.

"Sophia, I know this is going to come out of the blue, but is there anything weird happening between you and Prince Hernandez?" I asked looking at Sophia with a concerned face.

"I don't know Belle. I mean, the very first time when I came to the castle- I felt an energy course in me. It was so weird," Sophia told me. That was weird but I didn't question further.

"Enough of me, how's everything at the castle?" She said eagerly.

"Everyone is so sweet at the castle. Princess Genevieve and Queen Aurora are such nice people. However, I don't like Vincent's cousin," I grimaced at the thought of Luciano.

"Cousin? What cousin?" Sophia asked confused.

"I don't know, his cousin came around a month ago and he's still there. He's weird. He gives those bad chills, those negative vibes," I told her.

Sophia looked at me and shrugged. We talked all night about various things. I was glad that I could have this moment of peace with my best friend.

Vincentius Dante

We finally had reached the Eastern Side and I was glad. Bellamy was beyond happy and seeing her happy made me happy as well. A thought occurred to me that I still had to visit the Western side.

I couldn't just send Dorian and Damien alone because the Alpha highly requested my presence and it would be disrespectful if I don't go.

I'll have to go there alone and see things by myself. Bellamy could stay here that will not be a problem. But the distance would kill me.

I'll probably head to the Western Side day after tomorrow. And spend half of my day there and come back here. The Eastern and the Western sides both are very near to each other. And then from here, we would head back to the castle where I would have to arrange the best of the best Queen and Luna ceremony for my mate.
