Bellamy Rose

I WOKE UP abruptly from the sound of something crashing on the floor. I instantly got alarmed but eased thinking it might be my father.

"Papa! Is that you?" I yelled, waiting for his answer. After a minute of utter silence, I got out of bed and rushed downstairs.

Without looking up ahead, I somehow crashed on the floor with the side of my head throbbing in pain. I looked up and narrowed my eyes at the culprit who clutched his head in pain.

''Dominic, what are you doing?" I cried out while stroking the side of my head. Dominic looked at me with worried eyes. Before he could open his mouth to say anything, I went to the kitchen to get an ice pack which could ebb the pain.

Even though I was a werewolf and I knew that the pain would go away in a minute, I still couldn't withstand the it. I have a low tolerance to the pain you see.

"Oops, I didn't see you there, " Dominic said, his voice dripping with guilt. I looked at him with fire in my eyes and signaled him to shut up. "I didn't mean to scare you!" He exclaimed dramatically.

"Sure, you did not mean to scare me," I said sarcastically while rolling my eyes.

"Whatever, whatever. What are you here for?" I asked him exhibiting him my aggravated face.

"Can't I meet my favorite person in the whole wide world?" He said buttering me up. Dominic had a habit of buttering when he wanted something or when he wanted someone to hear him out.

"What is it?" I asked him with narrowed eyes. Of course, Dominic wouldn't ask for something of mine. If he wanted something, he would take it without letting me know. He definitely wanted to share something.

"Freshen up and then we'll go to the park, alright?" Dominic proposed.

He made himself comfortable on the couch before I was about to ask him. And by comfortable I meant, he sat on the couch with both of his feet resting upon the coffee table.

I went to my room and took a nice shower, Dominic can wait for all I care. I used my favorite strawberry shampoo with my go-to favorite vanilla-scented body wash. I draped my self in a fluffy towel and went towards my little wardrobe.

Opening it, I took out a pair of denim shorts that came just above my knees and a yellow sweatshirt. I then took out my brown leather boots which came just below my knees. I decided to wear some accessories so I wore a heart-shaped pendant which my father gifted and a pair of cute yellow ear studs.

Convinced with my look, I took my bag and headed downstairs.

When I went in my lounge I saw none other than Dominic snoozing upside down on the sofa. Feeling mischief, I brought two metallic pans from the kitchen, brought them closer to his ears, and slammed both of them together.

I knew how bad it would hurt but Dominic knew I would do something in return. He jerked due to the impact of the sound and became alert. When his eyes rested at me, he narrowed them.

"Oh man, that was so funny," I said while wiping a tear. Dominic stood there with blazing eyes.

"I will take my vengeance, be aware," He said seriously, pointing his index and middle finger first towards his eyes and then towards me.

Since it was Autumn the park looked very beautiful. Many golden hues formed the color of the leaves that were scattered all around. Children were laughing as they jumped on a heaped pile of omitted leaves. Many couples were walking hand in hand, oblivious to the sound of crunching under their feet as they walked on well-trodden path.

Cool, cold breeze along the trees made more golden and pink leaves fall on the wet ground. An old couple talking and laughing at each other didn't realize as a leaf fell on top of their heads.

Dominic and I walked side by side to find a vacant area to sit.

The leaf-less trees stood tall next to each other showing the beautiful sky above. We finally spotted a vacant bench not too far and sat there. Me being the wise one brought few snacks along.

"So what was it that you wanted to talk about?" I asked him while I nibbled on one of the chocolate fudge brownies.

He looked at me seriously, taking his time and thinking what to say, "I wanted to talk to you alone over this situation because out of us three, you think it through and you advise us with perfect reasoning and understanding.

I didn't tag Sophia along because she always hurries things and I don't think that I want to rush things at the moment, you see. Promise me, Belle, that after what I tell you, we will not and never drift apart. I was meaning to tell you this for quite a while but seeing things I couldn't bring up the courage," Dominic explained, by this time I was looking at him with suspicion and wide eyes as I left the brownie and nibbled my nails.

"What is it, Dominic? if you can hear, which I think you do, my heart is racing and I might have a heart attack. Quit the anticipation and tell me already, will you?" I told him. I wanted to attack him because I could no longer contain the suspense.

He gulped before saying, "Bellamy I-I," He tried to speak while I gave him a look of urge.

"I think I found my mate,'' He blurted waiting for me to reply while I sat there with my mouth wide open.

"Oh my god, oh my God." I jumped and shrieked. I was up on my feet and danced as I forgot about my surrounding.

I held his hand and pulled him on his feet as I gave him a bone crushing hug.

To say that I was delighted would be an understatement of the century. I was beyond happy; tears of joy were spilling out of my eyes.

"Aw Bellamy, don't cry. I'll spare some time for you idiots," He kidded and I chuckled. I sniffled as I wiped the tear which freely flowed.

"Dominic, I am so happy for you. You deserve all the happiness in the world. Now tell me how does she look? how old is she? Where is she from?" I asked him clearly expressing my lack of patience.

"She just shifted here from the Westside. Her father was one of the wolf army members there, so the Alpha of the west side ranked his position here," he said. I was quite impressed by the new information that Dominic gathered.

"How did you guys meet?" I smiled, wanting to know more.

"Okay, so remember last month I went to the bookstore with Emily, my little cousin? so she was taking forever to choose her books. I decided that while she finds the perfect book, I go to the cafe and order some snacks since both of us were hungry.

So I went there and waited in the line of hungry customers just like me. There was a girl in front of me, I was intrigued by her. Her scent drove me crazy, so when she took her order which was hot coffee, by the way, she tripped and was about to fall. And guess who was the prince that saved her?" He said looking proudly and expecting me to say his name in return.

"Must be her boyfriend," I said jokingly. Dominic looked at me with narrowed eyes before lightly smacking my forehead.

"I saved her from falling. And Bellamy, I kid you not, she was so breathtaking that I didn't feel the burning coffee dripping down my face until she yelped."

"I felt as if I was on top of the world. Damn, I can't even describe how amazing I felt," Dominic added while he sighed dreamily. I could tell my best friend was already whipped.

Seeing my best friend with love in his eyes for his soul mate was so adorable. I wonder what would Sophia feel once she finds her mate too.

'And us,' said my wolf.

"So what now? what's next?"

"Well I need to tell my mom and dad first and Sophia too, they need to know that their son has found a soul mate too," He said beaming with happiness. Dominic's parents thought that he's gay since he didn't find his mate until now. I didn't like the way they judged him based on his fate. Mated or mateless, no one should be judged.

I nodded in agreement, "You still haven't told me how beautiful she looks." I added and winked him.

"Oh, she's so beautiful. She has a round face with a button nose. Her eyes are brown, deep brown. She has short hair; her hair touches her shoulders to be exact, and yeah she is perfect," Dominic ended the conversation.

"And when will Sophia and I meet her?" I asked expecting him to completely reject the idea.

"You guys will scare her. Just kidding, soon, once I tell Sophia."

Oh, I wonder how Sophia would respond to this announcement. I bet she'd be more happier than me.

King V

I looked at the wolf generals and my beta to give me an update on the current circumstance for each side. I raised my eyebrow motioning them to start. I keep a record for each side, balancing them out. Keeping an inspection on which side is crossing their lines and which are not. It's better to keep these so-called Alpha's in line before they disrupt the peace which I am keeping for years and years. I don't want a nuisance in my kingdom.

"V, we've been sending our wolf spies to check up on every side. Up till now, each side is doing fine and cooperating with your order but there seems to be a slight trouble in the West side. Their borders are getting monthly attacks.

It seems like a pattern. Every month on the first, they are having attacks which are occurring in 12 deaths to be exact, with this distraction, the Alpha can not focus on your order," One of my wolf generals, Roger said.

"And why am I hearing this now? 12 deaths every month? Do you want your head attached to your body or should I do it otherwise?" I growled in anger, nothing like this has ever happened under my rule. The darkness inside of me seems to have surged from my outburst.

"Twenty four hours! You guys only have a day to bring me the enemies or else consider yourselves done!" Roger winced at my words and started ordering his army.

Looks like I need to pay a visit to the western Alpha and his pack. Go against me and death might be an easier punishment. I waved my hand at the generals to leave. Who on earth had the hearts and bravery to go against me? Me of all people?

They seem to just think that I am a rumor, the bad guy in childhood books. I guess it's time for the world to see who I truly am, who the Lycan King truly is.
