DOMINIC, SOPHIA, and I reached our place. Our home was fair-sized built of red Lyons sandstone with the most god-awful-looking picket fence I'd ever seen. "Wouldn't joke on this one," voiced my wolf. I couldn't agree more as I thought back to the weird-looking fence.
Papa said it looks fine but the fence gives off such weird vibes. The interior of the house was very basic it had polished wooden floors which had a Persian rug on top of it that Aunt Serena gifted. The walls of the house had a plain beige color on them.
The exterior of the house was all brick and the small yard was landscaped with beautiful trees and shrubs. It had a small patio that was made for outdoor gatherings with comfortable couches, it also had a large stone fireplace.
Our living room always smelled like cinnamon. My living room consisted of Papa's favorite leather chair a substantial love seat, a cream-colored couch which was most of the time invaded by Dominic's butt and a small TV.
Next to the kitchen were huge windows which gave a perfect view of the backyard which has my little plantation. Our whole living room was covered with mama's old paintings that papa had put after her death. My house symbolizes so many memories of not only papa and me but of Sophia and Dominic too.
Both of my friends had made themselves comfortable. I decided to make pasta and some chicken soup for Dominic hoping his flu would run-down. I grabbed a large pot from my cabinet and added about three glasses of water in it with some seasonings, then on low heat, I added a few chicken boneless pieces.
I again added some more seasoning which consisted of some garlic powder, some pepper powder, and a little bit of sea salt. I yet again added some water and left it to cook while it was cooking I chopped some vegetables, in another pot I boiled some noodles. I mixed both the chicken that was seasoned along with its soup with some boiled noodles and gave it to Dominic who had his mouth filled with water as he looked at the soup. Gosh, this boy.
I made some pasta too for Sophia and I. All three of us than planned to watch a movie. Sophia suggested to either watch a horror movie or the cliche sappy movie. After loads of arguments and fights, Dominic and I had to end up choosing the fault in our stars to watch. No doubt it was an amazing movie but it was way too emotional for us to watch. We put the CD in, I brought three blankets from the storeroom and threw one at each harshly.
They glared at me before making themselves cozy I brought my blanket up to my chin too as I cuddled in it and sat deeply on papa's leather chair.
After the emotional movie ended, it was evident that all three of us were very upset. Sophia looked like she was about to cry, and so once that first tear broke free, the rest followed in like a stream. Sophia bent forward where she sat on the couch and pressed her palms to the mat, she began to cry hysterically.
Dominic and I looked at each other, controlling our endless tries of laughter. I calmed myself, took a deep breath, and came out of my comfort zone as I went towards my crying best friend. I placed my hand on her shoulders and brought her in for a hug and patted her back slowly trying to calm her down.
"Shh Soph, it was just a movie." I tried to soothe her. After a lot of talks and endless tears, Sophia finally stopped crying, Dominic and I took a sigh of relief.
"You always end up crying in an emotional movie and horror movies are just not your type. From next time, you are not going to choose a movie, this job will be done my Bellamy or I," said Dominic as he scolded Sophia. Sophia just nodded her head and whined like a spoiled brat.
Dominic was about to go and meet his mate. He offered us to tag along so we could meet his mate in one go and we happily agreed. Sophia and I changed our clothes to look presentable; I wore a long casual dress which came to my ankle, it was white.
I wore my pump shoes and put on some accessories. I also grabbed a grey sweater just in case if it gets chilly. Sophia, on the other hand, wore my black sweatshirt and paired it with some white jeans and wore my converse.
All three of us went together, we planned on meeting at a cafe nearby. We arrived within a few minutes, Dominic pointed at a girl who sat at the corner looking out of the window, she had her back to us. Dominic made his way towards her while we stayed behind, he lightly tapped on her shoulder, she looked at him with loving eyes and stood up and hugged him.
Dominic kissed her forehead. He whispered something in her; we couldn't make out what he said because it was in a hushed tone. She looked at us and passed a smile before waving us to come. Feeling excited like kids, we walked quickly towards the couple.
"Hello, I am Bellamy," I told her, while Sophia introduced herself.
"Hi, I am Valerie. Dominic told me a lot about you guys. I always wanted to meet you," She introduced herself, I instantly developed a liking towards her. She was just about our height, just a little bit smaller. She had round eyes and a button nose just like Dominic said.
We sat at the booth and talked about various things. I decided to ask her why she shifted to the East.
"Valerie if you don't mind me asking, why did you and your family shift to the east? Not that it's a bad thing. The East is much more beautiful, no offense, and you got to meet Dominic here," I said while looking at my best friend.
"None taken. My father is general member of the Alpha's army. On a short notice, he was told to shift here saying that the Eastern Alpha needed experienced men but I do not fully believe since there was something else which they weren't telling."
I couldn't help but notice how she explained things with hand actions.
Valerie was a very simple yet beautiful girl and I was glad to see Dominic happy and so in love. It was getting dark since the sun was settling down. "Valerie, I am so happy for you both. Take care of yourselves and do not let anything come in between. Remember, you both are stronger together," I said.
She thanked me and embraced me a hug.
"And the most exciting thing, we now get to be a girl gang," Said Sophia and I agreed.

Vincentius Dante
The world can be cold. Sometimes the environment is figuratively cold, meaning not cold in temperature but rather cold in feeling. People can be mean. Work can be thankless. Living conditions can be hard. And sometimes the world is cold.
Temperatures drop. Snow falls from the clouds and sticks to the ground. Ice covers sidewalks and roads. Bitterly cold wind stings your face. Whether your world feels literally or figuratively cold, it was always like this up here.
It's a shame that we live in a world that constantly judges you.
Everywhere you go, someone is going to look at you differently. How is one supposed to feel if they constantly have a target on their back? This sums up my life, all I ever wanted to be one thing in my childhood, and that was love.
I am a soldier, a warrior of my world. I love my packs and pack-men and I am willing to go to any extent to protect them and save their honor. I do not care about my personal life or desires. They come first. I am well aware of the fact that I will have to sacrifice my personal life and stay away from my family or the people that I care for most of my life. However, this does not dither my spirit to serve the packs.
While looking at my soldiers, I only sense discipline, the kind of discipline which is engraved in their hearts and minds; discipline is one of the most attractive qualities in a soldier. This is the first thing that the soldiers are taught in their training camps. If a person does not possess discipline, he cannot take on the responsibility of protecting his pack.
They are taught to value time and make the best use of it. They require waking up in the earliest hours of the morning and exercise. They need to follow a strict routine each day and repeat it. Anyone who fails to do so is punished severely.
My soldiers are entrusted with the task of guarding the honor of their packs. An ideal soldier keeps his pack's interests above his own. At least that is how I think it works. He is disciplined, determined, and dedicated to serve his pack and protect his pack-men at all times. His duty is of supreme importance to him.
And because of this, my soldiers and I can withstand any attack, any war. We don't even have to sweat much and in mere seconds we see our enemies on the ground, lifeless and dead with their blood on our hands.
