William Griffith’s beautiful fingers gripped the steering wheel as he drove around the bustling city. Once he had locked onto his target, his lips finally curved into a smile.

Cherish glanced at Daniel Peacock, then at the girl beside him, and suddenly laughed.

“Actually, I’m a friend of Mr. Peacock here, but he doesn’t seem to remember me.” Cherish laughed, looking at Daniel. At this moment, Daniel felt even more guilty.

When Daniel Peacock initially saw Cherish, he was genuinely afraid she would reveal everything between them to Abigail. Fortunately, she didn’t.

“Cherish, are you picking out a gift for your boyfriend? I noticed you’ve been shopping in the men’s section. If you need help picking something out, I’d be happy to help as a way of thanking you for your generosity!”

“No need, I can help Cherish pick. As for you, Miss Johnson, you should stick with your fiancé. We’re pressed for time and need to get going!”

Second Butler could no longer stand to watch. Was this woman truly naïve or just playing dumb? He didn’t believe she actually considered Cherish a friend. Couldn’t she see that something was off between Cherish and Daniel Peacock?

Who was she trying to fool?

At that moment, a tall and straight figure suddenly appeared at the mall elevator. Stepping out of the elevator, he walked step by step towards Cherish Turner!

For a minute, the entire scene seemed to be shrouded in brilliance as if a dazzling god had descended, making it hard for everyone to look away!
