William Griffith’s eyes were calm as he helped Grace Harper steady herself. Grace, in turn, tried to smooth her slightly disheveled hair and apologized, “I just twisted my ankle, and William was helping me. Cherish, please don’t misunderstand.”

Cherish quickly waved her hands, “No misunderstanding, no misunderstanding! How could I misunderstand? I know what kind of person William is; he’s not like that, right?” Cherish then grabbed William’s arm tightly with one hand, smiling as she asked.

William looked at his arm, held tightly by Cherish, and then at her possessive expression as she regarded Grace. It was as if she was telling Grace that William was her man, Cherish Turner’s!

Well, this feeling wasn’t bad, to be honest.

“Mhm, you’re right. After getting to know you, I definitely won’t have any inappropriate relations with others,” he agreed.

These words smacked Grace in the face, making her feel jealous and sour as she stood to the side, watching the sweet interactions between William and Cherish.

“Big brother is such a good man, I can tell,” Grace could only say this, not wanting to seem too intimate with William and embarrass herself.

“Yes, now the ‘good man’ will go with you to get juice for our son.” Saying this, he signaled Grace and then he and Cherish left together.

Grace stood there, watching their backs as they left, grinding her teeth with annoyance.

Cherish Turner, just you wait! There will come a day when you can’t laugh anymore!

However, as soon as they went downstairs, Cherish released William’s hand and averted her gaze, not looking at him anymore.

“Are you mad, or jealous?” William asked with a smile.

“Am I?” Cherish asked with a fake smile.

“Aren’t you?” William deliberately walked in front of Cherish.

Cherish sidestepped him, “Boss, don’t be too full of yourself! I am not jealous at all!”

William didn’t bother arguing with her anymore and simply leaned in to give her a quick peck on the lips.

“William, are you crazy?! This is the kitchen; have some shame!” She worried that if their elders saw them, they would have a bad impression of her!

“You shouldn’t lie with your eyes open, so I’m going to punish you.”

“I didn’t…”

And so, he kissed her again…

Only when Cherish stopped talking did William cease.

However, all of this was witnessed by Yannis Griffith.

He had just come in from outside; his glass of wine was empty, and it was cold out, so he came inside to put the glass down, not expecting to see the tender moment between his brother and Cherish.

Cherish noticed Yannis too and hurriedly pushed William away. She still felt embarrassed about such things in front of others.

“Senior…” She greeted Yannis, and he too acknowledged her with a hum.

Cherish hurriedly left, leaving the Griffith brothers alone in the kitchen.

“Big brother, I never noticed before how impatient you are,” Yannis teased, feigning nonchalance to hide some emotion.

“Mhm, I didn’t know the taste of bliss before I met Cherish. Now that I’ve experienced it, I can’t get enough,” said William, striding out of the kitchen without giving his brother another glance, leaving Yannis with nothing to do but swallow a mouthful of “dog food.”
