Chapter 11 Royal Treatment
Caleb/Trent
Caleb rolled over feeling it was nearly time to wake up. He was still trying to fight his internal clock that operated on an entirely different time schedule. He was pleasantly surprised to find that his bed wasn't completely empty. When he moved an arm over a pair of slimmer shoulders, he rolled over to spoon with whoever it was.
The figure in the bed with him was not female.
Jason stirred under Caleb's touch. At least he thought it was Jason's. Caleb's eyes were still closed as his hand reached around to take Caleb's hand and kissed it lightly. He continued to caress and rub Caleb's hand. Jason rubbed his head against the pillow, beneath Caleb. Caleb felt something stiffen between his legs each time Jason's lips touched Caleb's skin.
"How that's nasty bump on the back on your head?" Caleb asked groggily eyes still too heavy with sleep. "Is it get getting any better?"
Jason nodded but not too aggressively.
Jason reached beneath the covers as if reaching for something. Caleb was still too tired to open his eyes all the way but his body knew enough that it needed to move. His boxer briefs were tenting. Jason's hands were suddenly on Caleb's stomach that it almost got him to open his eyes a little. When his fingers started to slide down south, Caleb stirred again.
With a moan, Caleb smiled and licked his lips. He was pulling Jason closer, the scent of cinnamon with a hint of lavender invaded his lungs. Jason was starting to stroke Caleb. Caleb responded by moaning again.
"I see you're feeling a lot better." Caleb smiled lazily. "Good."
Jason kept his back to Caleb and started to add more friction to the tip of Caleb's manhood.
"Ah, yeah, like that."
Jason was stroking faster. Caleb's legs opened a bit wider as he hugged Jason closer. He found his tongue licking the back of Jason's ear and around the shell. His teeth pinched at the sensitive skin that made Jason stroke faster.
All Caleb needed now was to be treated like the alpha that he was. Finally, some royal treatment. As if Jason could read his mind, he suddenly ducked under the covers. Caleb kept his eyes closed and let himself roll on his back so Jason could get better access. He could feel the warmth of Jason's mouth clamp down and around Caleb's shaft. Jason pushed his head down just once, deepthroat. Caleb almost came. His back arched and he fisted the sheets to refrain from grabbing Jason's head.
"Aaah." Caleb suddenly found himself waking up. Everything he had experienced was a dream. A wet dream at that.
Caleb couldn't help but roll over like he did in his dream and frown. Because this time, the bed was empty. Cold sheets sent shivers up his arms and Goosebumps took form. Caleb watched the entire process in the drifting daylight. For once in Caleb's life, he felt lonely.
As Caleb began to fall away while the early morning process went on, Trent was putting on his shoes. With his needed supplies for the day, joined Mr. Bateman by the front door. Mr. Bateman greeted him as he always had and Trent greeted him right back. Just as he always did. Not once had Trent tired of the same morning ritual. Until today.
There was that saying about waking up on the wrong side of the bed. Considering his dream, Trent was heavily conflicted. Should he start avoiding Jason at all costs? Or should he face his problem head on? Small parts of his dream was all he could think about.
A guy was touching him and it felt good. It was Jason of all people! Would Trent feel comfortable if it was Jason touching him that way? Of course he would. In a lot of ways, Trent, Caleb, it didn't matter who he was, would welcome Jason's touch.
He wouldn't very much like the idea of any other guy touching him that way. When he tried to think of another random guy in bed with him. The idea alone repulsed him. So Trent had to ask himself, about his feelings. That had to be his one and only weakness. Trying to get in touch with his feelings was never his strongest suit.
The nanny used to tell him that all the time when Trent (Caleb, now he was confusing himself) threw his tantrums as a child. When it came to asking Caleb what was wrong, he always said he didn't know. Caleb was a man of action. That much was about as close to a compliment he'd ever heard from his father.
Who would have a better chance at solving this? Trent? Caleb? Should he tell someone? It was too bad his sister had already went missing some time in the morning before he could get himself out of bed.
Caleb caught Mr. Bateman staring at him from the side when they came to a red light.
"What?" But Trent couldn't meet Mr. Bateman's gaze.
"You tell me." He said and the light changed to green again. "Is it about the young man you were so attached to yesterday?"
Trent found himself backing out of his one and only chance at saying the words. So I had this wet dream involving a guy. You know him too! He was right here in this same vehicle we're riding along in right now. You told me you liked him. Well guess what? I like him more!
He thought of his mother. What look might appear on her face? Disgust? His father, the King? Embarrassment? Augustus? He remembered the shocked look he got a year ago. His sister? Not shocked but there was still concern. It was one of those days Caleb felt like getting another rise out of his brother that the words simply slipped out. By the way I'm bisexual. His baby brother? Would he no longer look up Caleb as a hero but a villain instead?
How does Jason deal with all of this?
At least the school was finally in sight. Be it a blessing or a curse. Trent decided he was going to face whatever this was. But there was still that duality in the back of his mind. One part was telling him he was gay, gay for Jason, the other that he was bisexual.
Zoey! The solution to his problems! He spotted her blond head in the distance. The school hadn't let anyone in yet, not that Trent could complain, it was always breezy out here. Mr. Bateman shot Trent a warning look when Trent almost jumped out of the car.
Trent had to wait for what felt like forever for Mr. Bateman to park someplace safe, away from the school buses. That took him further away from his destination.
"Sir, I don't recall you ever having been this eager to go to school before. That Jason must be some friend."
He had no idea, or maybe he did. It wasn't like Caleb's sexuality was a secret from Mr. Bateman. In fact, Mr. Bateman figured it out before Caleb did. Not to mention Mr. Bateman had a partner named Xander. There is always a price when it came to working for royal family. Relationships. Caleb at the age of 12 approached Mr. Bateman in an empty room, casually patted him on the back and said, "You know I don't care if you're gay right?"
Mr. Bateman went stiff, he'd apparently been crying but he never said a word until two years later. "How did you know?"
Caleb at the ripe age of 14 on Christmas Eve said he'd eavesdropped on phone conversations. He said Mr. Bateman was always at his best when a man by the name of Xander was ever mentioned.
Caleb didn't know the whole story, but he knew they were doing fine now. Better actually, but Mr. Bateman was a private man.
"When will we have the pleasure of his company again? After school perhaps?"
"I, uh, don't really know that yet sir." Trent replied but was too distracted to respond properly. Half because he admired the man and the other half was drawn to the front of the school where everyone was waiting to be let in.
"Are you alright?"
"Yes, yes, yes, yes I just saw someone I really want to talk to real quick." The next words even sounded bad when he said them. "We're doing something important together."
Trent could see Mr. Bateman's brows rise to his hairline. "A girlfriend perhaps?"
Trent went still. Very still. He needed to keep himself calm.
When he turned to finally face Mr. Bateman, through stiff lips, he said, "No. Nothing like that. She's into women. Strictly."
He couldn't believe he just outed someone he barely knew like that. It wasn't his business to tell!
Mr. Bateman kept his poker face on well, not that he was one to judge. Trent knew Mr. Bateman was giving him space. "Oh. I see."
Trent was starting to feel stressed. It was already tough leading a double life. Now it was starting to feel like a triple life. All he needed to do now, was tell someone. A someone that he hardly knew that most likely wouldn't judge him or laugh in his face.
Zoey laughed in his face.
"Ah ha ha ha ha ha! I'm so sorry mate!" She had to wrap her arms around her torso to keep herself from falling on her butt. Trent secretly hoped that would happen. She was starting to draw attention.
"Hi Trent," a girl with long black hair backed with two other brunettes behind her, greeted as she walked by. Sultry for lack of a better word. Trent cocked his head as he watched her sway her middle section suggestively. The other girls walked with their noses in the air.
Trent thought they only did that in American movies. He'd seen Mean Girls.
That's when he caught Zoey doing the same, only with more interest. "Um, claimed. Sorry mate, but don't you have to worry about this kid named Jas-"
"Sssh, don't say his name!"
"Sorry!"
"Are you really?"
"No."
"Can't you take anything seriously?"
She fought back another laugh as her cheeks puffed out. "No. Not really."
At least she was being honest.
Trent was ready to tear his own face off with his fingers.
"Dude, lighten up. It's not that serious. It happens all the time."
Does it?
With his own two hands over his face to hide his shame he said, "This never happened to me before."
"Boo hoo, grow a pair. You do... have a pair don't you?"
Trent took a swipe which Zoey dodged successfully. "I'm sorry!"
No you're not.
"Please don't try to show me. I'll barf." She said.
Trent wagged his eyebrows suggestively. At least he knew her weakness, one being his manhood, the other a woman with no clothing. Despite her constant teasing, Trent was growing a soft spot for her anyway. He'd never met anyone who lived so carefree besides his Uncle Leo.
Little did he know, part of their conversation was heard.
Jason approached Trent from the side that Trent suddenly forgot about his worries.
"Soooo, what's new with you?" Trent tried but apparently he was trying too hard because Jason took a step back.
He could feel Zoey watching them but he ignored her.
Jason took his time answering and it was driving Trent to the brink of insanity. "Ah, just found out I'm sort of in line to be crowned king of England."
Trent didn't bother openly gaping at Jason. He wasn't sure if the bump on his head was making him delusional or if he was serious.
"I'm kidding!" But Jason looked away too quickly.
Didn't look like you were.
Trent thought about shooing Zoey away but she was already gone.
"Anyways, enough about me. Did you sleep ok?" Jason asked and there was a genuine way he said it with his eyes. Was Jason aware that having eyes like that could easily be used as a weapon?
He has no idea. "Yyyeah. I did. I sure did."
Neither of them could look at each other. It was a good thing the bell finally decided to ring. Jason and Trent hung back a little in silence as they drifted slowly towards the building. Trent felt nervous, very nervous. He found himself opening the door, holding it open and letting Jason go through first. He was being nice!
"How's the uh, bump?" Trent tried to appear causal but he found himself mostly talking to his feet.
"It's fine."
Trent found himself looking up while Jason tried to stand on the tips of his toes as if looking for someone. That caused him to stumble. Trent caught him by his elbow and helped back onto his feet. Trent only did what any human in their right mind would. He tried not to wince when skin grazed against skin.
"Thanks," Jason said without looking at him. They came to his locker and for whatever reason, Trent stayed nearby. Was he worried about other people trying to harm Jason now? When he thought the pinched look on Jason's face when he told the story, a surge of something like anger surged through Trent's veins. He could feel it pumping through his ears making them go red.
Jason had already opened his locker and finally noticed Trent was still hanging around. Trent was leaning sideways against someone else's locker ready to glare anyone down that so much as looked at Jason the wrong way. When no one did, Trent caught Jason staring at him wide eyed. Concern? Worry? Fear?
Trent had to push his troubled feelings to the side when he met Jason's eyes.
"Are you ok?"
Trent thought about walking away. He finally realized that he'd been acting weird all morning but Jason was still waiting for answer. Trent's thoughts turned towards the idea of kissing Jason right here and now. He could care less what everyone would think. All he wanted was to get these torturous feelings cleared. If kissing Jason could make them go away, help him sort out if it was only a simple teenage hormonal dream, he'd gladly take any consequence.
Now Trent waited for a response down below as he thought about taking Jason's almost fragile head in his hands. Would his lips feel as soft as they looked? Would their tongues touching, electrify? More importantly, would Jason kiss back?
What would Jason taste like? Skittles, taste the rainbow? What was he thinking?!
"Yeah, I'm cool." And Trent tried to leave it at that. "It's just that, I may be out to select few-"
"But you don't want me tell anyone else. Particularly my best friends." Jason stated this all matter of fact but there was hurt under the layer of it all. Trent was not blind to it.
"Thats," what was he trying to say again?
"Don't worry I get it. No judgment." He was slipping away. Slipping away from Trent that Trent made a reach for him causing Jason to stop, and it only hurt Trent more.
"What I'm saying is, I love women." This was true. "I have a great admiration of them. The obstacles they overcome. Don't get me wrong I can still enjoy company with another guy." More truth. "I'm sure with the same plumbing things could really interesting but I think I love women too much to give it up." The last part, maybe not as true. At least until recently.
Jason was starting to look uncomfortable. Trent wasn't entirely sure why. Jason was trying to hide it but Trent could see the the swirling emotions inside. Jason's weakness was his eyes. Words remained unsaid, actions undone, but it was all there in his eyes. Not just hurt, but there was determination. Maybe eyes that saw too much and could Trent blame him?
"Wait has someone-"
"I won't get my hopes up. Sorry Trent. Sorry. I gotta, yeah, gotta go. Talk to you later."
"Wait." Trent made another reach for Jason but Jason didn't stop this time. "Would you let me finish?"
But Jason was too far away now. Trent didn't have to see the look on his face. Trent knew how to read body language enough by now to know better. Jason was too far out of reach, and this pained Trent in ways he never thought was possible.
