mattia's pov
" are you ready for this?" kairi ask me .
" hell yeah"
me and fellow panthers along with mar and some of his gang were in the meeting room going over our plan. today is the day we finally get avery back and kill this bastard.
" okay so mar , you and your gang are gonna enter from the left and right side of the house. kill every vixen you come across. alejandro , kairi , and aiden you get avery , most likely he held her in the basement . you also have my permission to kill every vixen that gets in your way. the rest of the panthers i need you to be my gaurd." i explain.
" what about elijah sir?" one of my panthers ask .
" dont worry about him," i say . " if anyone touches him , you will be punished . i will handle him."
" yes boss," everyone in the room answers .
" alright load up the trucks and everyone get ready," i order.
everyone exited the room except for alejandro and kairi. i have a feeling of what they might say but i am going through whether they like it or not.
" mattia," alejandro says.
" no no im killing him," i cut him off. " he has done enough damage , especially to my mafia and me"
" alright , we have you back on this," kairi pats my shoulder .
" we got you brother," alejandro adds and we have a group hug .
avery's pov
i guess today has been a little better , they havent hit me at all today. i actually ate some decent food but im still locked in the basement. i was just laying there on the cold hard mattress thinking how my life would be if i just didnt see alejandro kill that man.
im kinda happy they did because then i wouldnt have caught feelings for mattia. he told me to wait on him but im starting to think he forgot about me . all i know is that i might die here.
" thats what you get avery," i sigh to myself.
i miss camila , my house , micheal , and my old life. i expected my life to get better from here but nope im trapped in a fricken basement with no food or water. the only time they let me out is when i have to shower .

mattia's pov
we were minutes away from avery's location and honestly im super anxious . we took two separate vans because not everyone could fit in one.
"Â when we get there , park on the far side . when i call for you , bring it to the front so she can get in." alejandro tells the driver.
" is everybody ready?" kairi asked and everyone answers .
" mar you ready?" i say through my earpiece.
" already here boss just waiting for your signal," mar answers .
" alright lets go," i order . everyone gets out of the truck and runs to the huge house to get into their position. he could've done a little better with the house .
i walk up to the front gate and stand there for a while.
" fire," i say through the earpiece.
everyone is in position and i already hear gunshots everywhere. i jump the gate and notice a few vixens charging at me. i fight them off , i swung my knife back and sliced one in the neck .
i look back , " yikes."
i run into the house and look for elijah . the house was quite empty but i went in quietly.
" mattia we got a problem," alejandro says in my ear. " there isnt an entrance to the basement."
" damn it," i mumble.
" wait-wait , we found a secret door," kairi informs me .
" okay go in "
avery's pov
i was crying and in the middle of it a here random gunshots. i didnt think much of it until a random slam near the basement is was in .
" avery , avery where are you?" i hear some call out .
i immediately stand up from the bed and run to where is was hearing the noise. i see two men dressed in black walking towards me. at first i thought they were one of elijahs men but it was kairi and alejandro.
" please tell me you came to get me the hell up out of here," i cry.
" hi avery , we missed you," ale hugs me .
" she is in here boss," we hear through the door.
" alright , we got to go," kairi yells .
we run to this secret door that blended in with the basement. im trying to figure out how the hell i haven't seen this. i could've escaped a long time ago.
" where is mattia?" i ask .
" no time for questions , we need you in the van," alejandro says .
we finally made it outside and it felt so good to be free. " bring the van to the front."
a black van pulls up and me , kai , and alejandro get inside. there were a bunch of other people but none of were mattia.
" im not gone ask again," i say sternly . " where is mattia?"
" he is inside, with elijah," kairi answers .
" by himself," i shout . " let me out of this van."
" avery you cant go in th-"
" let me the fuck out of this van," i shout.
" if you would just listen," alejandro shouts back . " you arent going in there alone."
they open the door and we walk to the front gate.
"its not open , we have to jump it." karir says .
alejandro jumped over first then kairi helped me up. all three of us walked to the front door which was left wide open .
" wait avery, take this" kairi says . he hands me a gun wich was super fucking heavy.
it was a custom gun with a paw print on it and mattia's initials. i know how to use a gun because micheal forces me to go to the gun range every weekend with him.
we walk into the house and notice glass shattered every where. we walked further into the house and it was still silent until we heard a shout from elijah's shipment room. we ran by the door and i saw mattia in there alone with elijah and 4 gaurds.
" i know a way in where they cant see us," i inform them. " follow me"
we walk back outside around the house to a garage looking door that they always leave open. we quietly walked in and hid behind the wooden crates .
" tell me where avery is or ill kill you," elijah orders.
" hell no , your lucky i didnt shoot you the second i came in contact with you," mattia answers.
i went into clear view of everything and they saw me.
" miss me?" i smirk at mattia and he smiles .
" aww pretty little avery , grab her" elijah tells his gaurd .
every one of them ran towards me and i shot all of them in the head.
" checkmate," i say.
" avery got a gun and think she is the queen of them all," elijah claps . " tell you what , that was quiet a show."
" cut the shit elijah," i tell him. " you had me locked in that basement for 2 whole weeks to be beaten by your worthless litte shits. you were talking all that shit about killing mattia when you see him . here he is face to face with you and what have you done? not a single damn thing."
" now let me ask you this," he laughs. " where was all that strength when those ' little shits' were wopping your ass?"
" oh so you got jokes huh," i lightly chuckle . " you know i have so much anger built up for you that the whole gun should be lunged down your fucking throat."
" then do it, since your so bad," he says then pulls out a gun.
alejandro and kairi move from behind the crates with their guns out and so does mattia.
" its 4 against one elijah," alejandro yells.
elijah drops the gun and alejandro and kairi helped mattia up . i kicked the gun away from him and walk away with them.
something in me just finally snapped and i was over it .
i turned back around while elijah was facing me .
" you know what," i shout . "see you in hell"
i shoot him right in the heart. i couldnt stop , the adrenaline was so high. i could hear them screaming behind me but i ignored it.
" avery , he is dead," kairi shouts.
i walk back to them and put the gun in my back as i helped them with mattia.
