avery's pov
" i just want to say im sorry," i say as me and kairi walked around the mall.
" not really the missions i go on but its fine," he says .
" how do you guys like.... do this and not feel .... bad?" i ask . " i know i would unless they deserve it"
" well all three of us grew up in this life. we were taught how to defend ourselves , and build structure. it wasn't always easy but we had to adapt to it." he says .
" do you ever think that if you had a chance to leave this all behind and start over , would you?" i ask .
" ... i dont think i could even if i wanted to . we grew up together and as much as we do bad things , we are always loyal to each other. if it werent for ale and mattia i would be absolutley nothing." he tells me .
" my first ever mission , i threw up because i saw someones head explode," he tells me as ii fake gag. "it was so gross , i didnt tell anyone . if you do i swear i wil-"
" i wont say anything my lips are seeled." i laugh.
" hey , i know you are scared of us but i promise you mattia nor ale will ever lay a hand on you." he says and i raise my eyebrows.
" he seems , well they both seem to like you . your lucky this is the nicest i have ever seen mattia." he laughs.
" wow ... thats hard for me to believe,"
" do you have everything you need?" he ask me and i nod .
" alrighty then , lets go"
i had a really good time with kairi and to be honest we had alot in common. we really bonded and it made me feel alot better about this whole kidnapping thing .
" take these," kairi tells the solider . " i hate shopping"
" come on , it wasnt that bad," i smile and enter the car .
back home
as we walk into the house kairi sighs as we approach a tall girl with brunett hair .
" hey kai," she says while side eyeing me .
" hi mya"
" who is this?" she questions while looking at me .
" our hostage , avery you can head upstairs or whatever you want to do." kairi tells me.
i grab my bags and walk up to my room . that girl has a stink attitude.
i walk into my room and throw my bags in the closet. i walked out trying to find mattia because he wanted to talk to me .
" hey , do you know where mattia is?" i ask one of the soliders .
" last door down the hall" he replies blandly .
i walk down the massive hallway upstairs and seen a big brown glass door with mattia's name on it . i knock before entering beacuse i dont want to see nothing i dont like.
" come in" mattia say through the door.
i open it and close it back so he can talk to me privately.
" you wanted to talk to me," i say. " oh and thank you for paying for my stuff."
" my pleasure," he smiles ." and yes , since your staying here against your will its best that i teach you some slf defense mechanisms to keep yourself safe."
" mmm okay," i reply.
" we start tomorrow, you have to listen to what i say. no aruging , no ressiting , and no questioning."
" your the boss" i tell him .
" i see your in a better mood today" he says getting up from his chair. " why is that?"
" maybe because im in a better mood ," i smile . " well im gonna shower so see you tmr."
later that night...

its early but not that early , i was kinda bored so i just was on the balcony . the air was cold but it felt really nice . i didnt feel the need to sleep yet so i just came out here after my shower . i havent really talked to alejandro ever since i got kidnapped.
but hey , i did see him kill someone...
" looks like someone isnt tired yet." mattis says from behind me.
" ill go to bed in a bit , i just wanted to relax for a bit." i tell him.
i leaned on the glass barrier and stared off into the distance. mattia joined me and i could see his amazing features . i cant lie he is a very very attractive man . the moonlight gleamed on his skin which made him look softer.
" you are staring at the wrong view, missy" he finally says . " its alright though , i like it "
" ahht dont get cocky now" i roll my eyes.
mattia's pov
i see avery get alot more calmer than when we first kidnapped her . i see her shiver from the side of my eyes. i notice she only had shorts and a long sleeve on.
i move from the balcony and hug her from behind. surprsingly she didnt fuss or push me away , and im really happy. she just leans her head back and closes her eyes.
i dont say anything but stare at her unbearable features . she has a beauty mark on her upper left eyebrow . she has a perfectly shaped nose and very soft looking lips.
" your staring," she says with her eyes still shut. " i dont mind it though"
" why cant i?" i ask ," your literally the most beautiful women i have ever seen."
" thank you," she mumbles .
she begins to lose her balance but i wrap my balance on her lower waist as she leans further back. " you smell really nice."
" thank you," she says . "i used your cologne"
" thats why it smelt familiar," i tell her . " your my new pillow"
we just stand in silence as we look off into the moonlit sky . this is the first time that i have ever felt so comfortable with anyone. i really hate holding her hostage but something about her just doesnt want me to let her go.
" god the things i want to do to you," i say.
she turns around swiftly and looks up at me . " like what exactly?"
she wraps her hands around my neck and brings me closer to her as she leans against the railing. she drops them lower and moves to my chest and slowly goes lower.
" your a teaser," i groan a bit . " thats my job."
" cant help it," she smirks . "you're fun to mess with."
" oh really." i smirk back .
i slowly move my hands to her neck and lightly squeeze.
" and your a choker,"
" i like it"
i pull her closer and move her lips closer to mine. as are lips become centimeters away--
" whats going on here?"
we quickly move away from each other and we saw that it was mya.
" nothing , im just heading to bed," avery said . " night mattia" she walks away.
"night"
" are you seriously falling for your hostage?" mya scoofs . " this is ridiculous"
" mya that isnt any of your buisness," i reply very harshly.
" look im sorry," she says as she wraps her hands around my waist. " do you think i could stay with you in your room."
" nope , there are plenty of unoccupied beds in this house," i push her off . "pick one thats not mine."
avery's pov
i have come to realization that i actually might have feelings for mattia. i dont know but i felt a different side of him today , which made me really happy by the way. he has a soft spot for me and i have one for him . that doesnt mean im going to let him in easy , might use this as a way out.
