I kissed her forehead, but she grabbed my hands and hugged them. Oh, this woman! What are you doing? I tried to push her away, but she hugged me tightly. Well, I like this position too, so I surrendered.
I woke up to a loud scream.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH....!!!!!!" this woman, tsk.
ASHLEY'S POV
I felt something very warm and comfortable. I hugged it tightly and buried my face in it. But then it moved, and I looked up to see...
"AHHHHHHHH!!!!" I screamed and pushed him away.
"What... what do you want? Do you have a problem?" he said, annoyed.
"Why are you here?" I asked nervously, but he just smirked.
"Are you expecting that I did something to you, wife? Well, we can do that if you want," he replied, leaving me speechless.
"You moron! Why are you here, and you're...!"
"I just checked on you because you hugged me and then...," he started.
"Then what? What happened?" I asked, feeling anxious.
"Then you kissed me hard," he said, making me blush in embarrassment. Did I really do that? Why canât I remember? I swear I wonât do it again.
"Get out... I SAID GET OUT! IT'S SO EMBARRASSING, MORON!" I shouted, and he laughed as he walked away. He looked cute when he laughed, but no, no, no.
What was I thinking? I can't face him after that. Ugh, Iâm so mad at myself!
I soaked in the bathtub, trying to wash away my embarrassment. Oh, holy cow, what have I done? I need to get out of here.
"Argghhhh, this is so frustrating!" I yelled from the bathroom.
I heard someone shout from the door.
"Ma'am! Ma'am!" It was just Manang.
"I'm taking a bath, Manang. Just wait there!" I replied.
After finishing my bath and getting dressed in color black loose pants and a white crop top with a soft white blazer, I stepped out. Manang was standing by my bed.
"Manang, do you need something?" I asked as I sat down and started blow-drying my hair.
"Sir told me not to let you go out yet. He said you might have a hangover," she said, and I just nodded, still annoyed by the embarrassment.
"Manang."
"Yes?"
"I want to go out. Please donât tell Zandro that I left," I said with pitiful face hehe.
"Alright, but I'll come with you," she replied.
"No, it's okay, Manang. Iâll go alone. I just need to buy something," I insisted.
"Okay, but be careful," she said. I got ready and left with July, my bodyguard and butler.
"July, donât you get tired of seeing my face all the time?" I joked.
"Nah, ma'am. With your beauty, who would get tired?" he teased back.
"As if you're not just flattering me!" I laughed.
"I'm serious, ma'am," he said as he opened the door for me.
"What are you planning to buy?" he asked.
"Since it was his birthday last month and he was busy with work, I thought Iâd get him a gift," I explained.
"How sweet of you, ma'am," he said, but honestly, it was more of a peace offering. I didnât do it on purpose; I was just drunk.
When we arrived, I spotted an expensive watch. I had enough savings for it, so I wouldnât have to rely on him.
"Do you like it?" the salesperson asked.
"Yes, how much is this?" I pointed to the watch.
"250k, ma'am," he replied.
"Okay, I'll buy it," I said, and I purchased it. The packaging was adorable!
Then I noticed a couple's necklace and ring set, and I asked about them.
"How much for these two?" I inquired, enchanted by their design.
"The ring is 80k, and the necklace is 100k," the salesperson said. I handed my card again to buy them, placing them in a cute box.
Feeling hungry, I decided to eat. I insisted that Mr. July Padilla sit down, but he refused, saying it was against the rules for them.
So, I ended up eating alone when suddenly a familiar face appeared.
"Chris! Nice to see you here!" I greeted him with a smile.
"Can I join you?" he asked.
"Of course! Sit here," I replied.
"By the way, what are you doing here?" he asked.
"I'm stalking you," I joked, making his eyes widen in surprise.
"Woah, love at first sight? It's shocking how handsome I am, right?" he teased, causing me to roll my eyes.
"I'm just joking! Donât take it seriously; that would be sad!" I laughed.
"You're a liar," he pouted.
