ASHELY NICOLE AMORES
I woke up knowing that the idiot was still hugging me, I just let it be because I slapped him earlier, poor guy.
I faced him; he smelled so good.
"You smell great today," I whispered to him.
"Always, wife," he replied, which made my eyes widen, so I tried to push him away, but of course, he was strong; heâs a man after all.
"I'm just joking, let me go," I said.
"No. I didn't take it as a joke, wife," he said, and I got annoyed because he wouldnât let me go.
"Wife, thank you for the ring; I appreciate it," he said.
"Nah, don't mind it," I replied while he was still hugging me, and my hands were resting on his chest.
"Wife, can I sleep here again?" he asked, almost in tears, which made me feel sorry for him.
"Yep, whenever you want," I said.
"Thank you," he said, looking all pitiful, which was unfair.
"Welcome," I replied.
NOW, I was in his office, acting like a secretary, but I was also his secretary, tsk.
"Idiot, I'm going to take my lunch," I said.
"Hm..." was all he replied while busy typing on his laptop, tsk.
I went to a nearby restaurant since it was just a short walk, and I ordered my food.
A little while later, I saw a familiar figure in the distance; it was Christian. What was he doing here? Of course, he was here to eat, haha.
Oh, let me text him.
"Christian, come find me," I texted him.
"Where's the location?" he replied.
"Look to the left by the window," I texted back, and he immediately looked over, a smile appearing on his face as he approached me.
"Hey, Ash, what's up?" he greeted and sat down in front of me.
"Just having a meal," I replied.
"Yeah, I see," he said.
"By the way, Christian, letâs hang out tomorrow," I suggested since it was getting boring in the office with nothing much to do.
"Well, if youâre free," I added.
"Of course, just tomorrow, okay?" I said, and I just smiled at him.
We chatted for a while, which made me stay longer, but eventually, he said he had to go.
"Bye, see you tomorrow, Ash," he said and waved.
"See you," I replied, waving back as he drove away from my sight.
I returned to the company, and coincidentally, I ran into the two clowns, Althea and her friend, tsk.
"Well, well, well, look who's here," her friend said with a smirk.
"Hmm, maybe it's the beautiful princess," I teased, raising an eyebrow at both of them.
"Tss," they both reacted in annoyance and walked out as the elevator opened.
As I stepped out, I bumped intoâ
"Christian, what are you doing here?" I immediately asked. Yes, itâs Christian.
"Oh, Ash, having a business meeting. If I knew, I would have brought you along," he said.
"Really? Haha, I didnât know you were coming here either," I replied to him.
"Ahhh haha," he said, playfully holding the back of his neck. He was so handsome, this guy.
"Ash, whoâs this girl? Why are you talking to her?" Althea exclaimed in surprise.
"Althea..." I said.
"Do you know each other?" Chris asked.
"ARE YOU RELATED?" both Althea and I asked simultaneously.
"Oh right, Ash, this is my sister Althea; sheâs my older sister, and Althea, this is Ashley, my friend," he said. Both Althea and I were stunned.
"You two are siblings?" I exclaimed in shock.
"Well, yeah. Why?" Chris asked, and I just held my head in annoyance. Tsss, how annoying that sheâs his sister, hmppp.
