ASHLEY NICOLE AMORES

I didn't know they missed their father that much. I thought they were okay with Christian acting as their father, but I was wrong.

Tomorrow, I'll face the reality of this. I went up to the children's room and opened the door.

"Mommy, you'll sleep here," the twins said.

"Why? Don't my babies want me to—No, Mom, we didn't say anything like that," Raven said, hugging my leg. Dave did the same.

"Okay, babies, let's sleep now. We have an early day tomorrow," I said. They raced to their beds.  The bed is big enough for all of us.

"Goodnight, Mom," they said.

"Goodnight, babies," I said, kissing them both on the forehead before falling asleep.

I woke up to my alarm clock, and so did the twins.

"Mommy, the clocky is noisy," Dave said, rubbing his eyes.

"It's so early," Raven said. I laughed at them.

"Go take a bath," I said. It's already 3 o'clock. We have an early schedule.

"Okay, Mom," they said. Tim went first. I also called Marie and Jona to help the twins bathe.

I went back to my room and took a shower. Afterward, I got dressed in a white dress and let my long hair down. I know people will talk about why I'm with children, but I don't care if it becomes media fodder again.  Good, it'll give them something to overthink, hahaha.

After I was ready, I had Joko and Yuli bring our luggage. They left with Jona; I stayed with Marie and my two sons in a van.

When we arrived, as expected, there were many reporters. But before my children got out, the director arrived.

"I'll handle these reporters," he said, so I smiled.  I'm lucky to have a director like him.

The reporters had a lot to say, but I answered them properly until I was on the private plane.

"Mommy, it's the first time I'll ride a plane. It's so awesome," Raven said in amazement, sitting by the window next to Dave, who was asleep.

My gaze fell on my coworkers who were looking at us, but they looked away when I looked at them.

"Nah, these two are my twin sons, guys," I said, causing them to look again.

"Why didn't we know?"

"Why are they so cute?"

"They look like you!"

"Wow, what a surprise!"  They said various things.

"Seriously, leave me alone. I'm going to sleep," I said. Jona and Marie were in front; Joko and Yuli stayed behind to watch over us.

"I'm excited, Bess! What will the Philippines be like?" I heard Jona say, which made me shake my head.

After a few hours, we arrived in the Philippines. My nervousness grew.

"Mommy, I'm excited to see Daddy," Dave said happily while clinging to Jona.

"Mommy, I'm sure I look like him because I'm handsome," Raven said.

"I'm more handsome than you, Kuya," Dave said.

"Don't call me Kuya, it's so corny," Raven said, looking disgusted.

"Dramatic," Dave said, making my coworkers laugh.

"They inherited their stubbornness," they said, and I just shook my head.

Now I'm in the van with the four of them and the director.

"You can stay at the condo first. It's small, but it will fit you all," he said, making me smile.

"Will anyone recognize me there?" I asked.

"Just wear a face mask, okay," he said, and I nodded.

WE'RE here now. There are four rooms, and it's like a house, but smaller than our house.

I organized my children's things. Jona helped me. Marie took care of the other things. The director also left.

"Mom, the Philippines is really beautiful. It's just that some people here are careless," Jana said, looking at the view.  The condo has a second floor, with three bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs.

"Yes, let's just clean up this mess.  You and Rel can sleep after you're done," I reminded her, and she nodded.

I went into the room where my children were and lay down next to them.

THE NEXT MORNING, I woke up to the sunlight and the twins were hugging me.  Oh, these two.

"Good morning, Mommy. You sleep so soundly," Dave greeted me.  The twins must have been awake for a while.

"Mommy, you slept for a long time," Raven said, grinning.

"What time is it?" I said sleepily.

"9:30 AM, Mom," Raven said, causing me to get up. I have an appointment at 10 am.

"Why didn't you wake me up? You guys!" I said, kissing them on their foreheads.

"Mommy, when are we going to find Daddy?" he asked, surprising me.  Oh, dear.

"I'm going to take a bath first, okay, babies? Wait for Mommy here," I said. They nodded.

I went into the bathroom and took a shower. I hurried. I wore a white dress and 2-inch heels, then went out after I fixed myself up.

"Mommy, it's 9:50 AM," Raven said, so I hurried.

"Let's go, eat quickly," I said, and we hurried downstairs after the twins got dressed.
