"I am going to cut this hair very soon." Says Mia looking up at her aunt who was trying very hard to style it.
"Sit still dear. You have to be ready for departure with the prince." Answers Caramel.
Ofcourse, she would have to protect his royal bossom from danger. Rolling her eyes, she puts in her daggers in place as she is covered in light makeup.
"Now you can look." Caramel announces proudly.
Staring at the mirror in horror, she exclaims, "Who is that?" She had never been pampered like this before.
"Oh stop your tantrums. I trust you will be on your best behaviour. This is a seven day trip. Have fun!" She answers.
"Seven days!?" What am I supposed to do for seven days!?" She exclaims.
"Time to leave for the visit madam." Says the royal guard.
She kisses her aunt on her cheek then collects her belongings and leaves for the carriage.

He was not expecting this. He had a small chance before she reached the carriage. She was nothing like what she portrayed everyday. How could she hide such beauty from the world?
"So where are we going blockhead?" She asks him.
"Carlysle castle. To meet my cousins and ofcourse learn about my people." He answers.
She gets in the carriage and sits opposite him looking out the window.
He notices the bruises on her hands and out of curiosity," What happened there?" Pointing at her hands.
"Nothing. It is just all the work. None of your concern really." She answers hiding her hands in her sleeves.
They were about the same age and cruel fate had them stick together. There was no running away from that. But soon, she would be free of him. She was waiting for that moment very eagerly.
They travelled quietly through the whole journey until they arrived. "After you." Gestures the prince.
She steps out of the carriage and gathers all their belongings into the castle. They were heavy but it was her duty not to complain. The royal guard announces their arrival as they enter.
She leaves the royals as she goes to the maids' quarters. "Mia! Is that you?" Asks a girl with a sqeaky voice.
She turns around to meet the girl,after which she breaks into a wide smile. "Krista! How are you here?" She asks pulling her friend into a bear hug.
"I was assigned to the twins. Let me take that." She says taking her luggage and guiding her to her sleeping chambers.
