Ariana takes that opportunity when everyone is distracted to make a run for it. She grabs one of her men's horses and climbs it, kicking it to ride forward and fast.
Edgar lifts her onto the physician's carriage as he watches her face, more concerned than ever.
"She.is.getting.away." says Mia short of breath, pointing in Ariana's direction.
"I will deal with her. Come on men! We have a traitor to catch!" Says William as he rides off after her.
Edgar then climbs in the carriage beside her and holds her hand, comforting her. She smiles weakly at him and he kisses her forehead.

Ariana increases her speed as she thinks she has lost them on her trail. William arrives infront of her causing her to pull on her horse and try to calm it down.
"Hello mother. Going somewhere?" He asks.
When she doesn't answer, he whips the horse causing it to rise on its hind legs and drop her.
One of the guards hold her down and tie her up. Then lifts her onto his horse.
"You have alot to answer for mother. I hope you like cold dark dungeons." Says William as he rides back with the men.

"We have arrived your highness." Says the physician.
"Quick! Let us get her to your chambers!" Says Edgar.
They struggle to lift her as another maid applies pressure on her wound to surpress the bleeding.
They set her down on the physician's mat as he starts to work on her wounds to the abdomen. Edgar sits by her side and watches face as her chest rises and falls during the operation.
May watches from outside the chambers, her expression towards her now soft. "Do you think she is worthless now?" Asks William.
May closes her eyes painfully as the sound of her own insults and pride sting her. She sighs deeply and turns away shaking her head from side to side.
The physician stitches the final wound and leaves the prince and the girl alone. A tear trickles down his cheek as he strokes Mia's hair. He plants a kiss on her forehead and heads out of the room.
Caramel enters and starts wiping her forehead with a cool towel. "I promised your mother I would protect you. If there is anyone who has failed here, it is me." She says sobbing quietly and sniffling. "I hope you will forgive me." She adds and places her forehead at Mia's side as she continues to cry.
Mia then lightly brushes her hair with her fingers and says, "Don't cry aunt Caramel."
Caramel then raises her head and gently pulls her into a hug, being mindful of her injuries. "I love you Amelia." She says.
"As do I aunt Caramel." Says Mia.
"I think there is someone else who loves you now." Says Caramel gently turning her to face the door.
She spots Edgar smiling wrily as he sighs in relief that she is alive and well. Mia then starts to panic, "Queen Ariana! She..." she starts then is cut off.
"Took her life about ten minutes ago. No need to worry. I however have a question for you little mouse." He says kneeling down on one knee.
Mia's eyes widen in disbelief. "Amelia, will you accept to be my princess?" He asks.
Her eyes start flooding with tears as she comprehends what he is asking of her. She wipes away a tear and answers, "Fate has us stuck together blockhead. Where else would I go?" She says laughing a little.
He smiles and slips the ring in her finger. He then does what he had been longing to do ever since the feud between the two brothers came into war. He claims her lips, hungrily and lovingly. He pulls out of the kiss and embraces her.
Caramel leaps for joy as she starts babbling about wedding preparations.
