Sister Hong owns a fitness club and is quite knowledgeable about yoga, so she admitted that I do practice it.
Your practice method⦠ahem, might not catch up to the Royal Secret Technique! Feng Jun hinted subtly, that the effects are better.
You can also practice yoga? Sister Hong was a bit skeptical of his claim.
Since she had already decided to enjoy herself tonight, she was not going to be standoffish. The scamp was right, life is short.
But she believed that if one wants to practice yoga, they should listen to her; practicing with the wrong method can harm the body.
Then she was surprised to find that the scamp⦠actually pulled out a stack of printed papers?
In any case, Sister Hong felt that her body was too soft from drinking and not suitable for practicing yoga at the moment.
What she didnât expect was that once she started the yoga, she simply⦠couldnât stop.
When they did stop, it was two hours later. She pushed him away and energetically went to the bathroom.
Half an hour later, Sister Hong came out of the bathroom wrapped in a large bath towel, her hair wet and draped over her shoulders. Her long legs appeared even whiter, as if they were glowing.
She glanced at Feng Jun and asked crisply, âDid you take a shower as well?â
Feng Jun was also wrapped in a bath towel, sitting comfortably on the sofa, smoking a cigarette, âYeah, I took a shower next door; you locked the door⦠I actually would have liked to shower with you, missed it by just half a second.â
Social proprieties kicking in, Sister Hong didnât inquire about the next room. She walked over to him, bent down to pluck the cigarette from his lips, then sat on the opposite sofa, puffing away, âThis yoga⦠good stuff!â
âOf course itâs good stuff, otherwise why would I share it with Sister Hong?â Feng Jun grinned and lit another cigarette. âSo, has the buzz worn off?â
He was in a pleasant mood, probably due to practicing yoga with her for the first time. The effect was superb, and he even vaguely felt on the verge of breaking through to the Qi Refining Second Layer.
âIâm so hungry I could eat two Big Macs right now,â Sister Hong declared with gusto, then looked at him with a teasing smile, âBut the thing you brought, is that really considered yoga?â
Feng Jun started laughing, âAre you feeling sticky all over? Let me tell you, this is the revised version of the âCleansing Marrow Scriptureâ, itâs incredibly beneficial for the body.â
Sister Hong didnât want to acknowledge that sticky feeling, as it made her feel somewhat embarrassed. But since he mentioned it, she didnât deny it either and simply nodded briskly, âItâs more addictive than exercising, feels like it stimulates dopamine⦠can become addictive.â
Feng Jun laughed heartily, âIf itâs addictive then so be it. Donât you like it?â
Sister Hong glanced at him from the corner of her eye and took another drag on her cigarette, âWith how experienced you are, scamp, this canât be your first time practicing yoga, right?â
Feng Jun couldnât help but recall a certain afternoon from the previous year, âIâve stopped farming herbs; Iâm currently cultivating.â
Sister Hong chuckled at his joke, âAh, what a fine young lad you were, only to be eventually ruined by society.â
âLittle hooligan,â Sister Hong chuckled and shook her head, then posed the question, âThat girl out there⦠has she practiced yoga before?â
It was only at that moment she inquired about Li Shishiâs identity â demonstrating that someone with a powerful presence can indeed afford to look disdainfully upon the masses at times.
âNo way,â Feng Jun shook his head, âSheâs an assistant Iâm planning to hire.â
âItâs because the girlâs not pretty enough, right?â Sister Hong looked at him with a mockingly amused gaze, âYouâre just a little lecher, donât bother with so many excuses.â
âSay what you will,â Feng Jun replied with a smile, âItâs only a peerless beauty like you, Sister Hong, who can inspire me to take an interest in yoga.ân/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
âI may not necessarily want to practice with you,â said Sister Hong with feigned arrogance, âAnyhow, Iâve learned those figures now; Iâll try practicing with someone else later⦠the effect might even be better.â
Feng Jun replied nonchalantly, âThe effect wonât be there with someone else. Do you know why people call me âmasterâ?â
Resting her chin in her hand, with the glowing cigarette barely three centimeters from her temple, Sister Hong asked earnestly, âWhy?â
âBecauseâ¦â Feng Jun really wanted to say it was because he was cultivating, but given the various âmastersâ in the country at present, he decided to let her slowly experience the benefits for herself. Sister Hong, deemed worldly, was ultimately not as innocent as Cai Xin.
âIn any case, practice yoga with me more and youâll find out⦠shall we give it another try now?â
âNo need,â Sister Hong said, startled, hurriedly waving her hands, âYou surely donât want me to starve to death on the bed, right? No, I have to order takeout right now⦠and beer.â
âThen letâs go out to eat,â Feng Jun checked the time, âItâs just two oâclock, letâs find a place for late-night snacks.â
âMy hair is still wet,â Sister Hong pointed to her hair and gave him a dissatisfied glance, âWhat would others think if they saw me like this?â
âPeople would say you look like a nymph rising from the water,â Feng Jun responded with a chuckle, then stood up and opened the bedroom door, âIs Xiao Li still awake⦠oh, sheâs still watching TV?â
Li Shishi was lounging on the sofa, yawning lazily, âHuh⦠I work at a coffee shop on the night shift, used to staying up late.â
â`
Feng Jun bared his teeth at her in a smile, âFancy a late-night snack?â
Li Shishi was a typical foodie with a big appetite, and her spirits immediately lifted at the mention, happily ordering takeout with a gleam in her eye.
Although Sister Hong claimed to be worldly, she had her own quirks, such as disliking eating in the bedroom. The smell of food lingering after a meal made her feel like she was âsleeping in a kitchen.â
Li Shishi warmly invited them to her suite for late-night snacks and drinks, and they didnât stop until four thirty in the morning.
Then Feng Jun took Sister Hong back to his room. Xiao Li actually wanted to follow them, even saying, âI donât like the smell of food in my place either⦠I even ordered stinky tofu.â
Feng Jun suppressed her restlessness, thinking to himself that the stinky tofu wasnât even her order.
Sister Hong, however, couldnât stop laughing after returning to the roomâshe had drunk quite a bit. âIâve noticed that the juniors around you are like grass on the edge of a nest, ready to jump into your mouth the moment you open it.â
Laughing, Feng Jun suggested, âLetâs just do some yogaâ¦â
They cleared up the misunderstanding and finally fell into a deep sleep at six oâclock.
The next day, Feng Jun didnât wake up until ten oâclock, and only because the phone rang.
It was Dou Jiahui calling, already back at Luohua Villa, asking when Da Pang would return.
Feng Jun had arranged with Sister Hong to check out the park land today and review the construction designs.
Sister Hong thought it was essential for him to have a place to stay in the cityââIf you donât stay, I can.â
Feng Jun too felt it was an excellent location; the open space in the park truly offered tranquility amidst chaos, with cleaner air as well.
Sister Hong was already up, making calls in the other room. After a quick tidy up, they grabbed a bite downstairs and headed straight for the park.
Once at the park, Zhang Caixin was already there waiting with a few others. Seeing her sister and Feng Jun approaching together, she passed over a stack of drawings without expression, âThese are the renderings.â
Feng Jun flipped through them and nodded with a smile, âNice, I like this Huaxia style design⦠It looks good to me.â
He wasnât too picky about residencesâas long as they were spacious, which actually was quite fussy of him.
Zhang Caixin, however, was less than cordial. Seeing her sister glowing, anyone could guess what had happened the night before.
Her heart was filled with sorrow, with no one to confide in, and she could only snort lightly, âA house made of jade, that would be the true Huaxia style, right? I remember someone saying they wanted to build a jade house.â
Laughing, Feng Jun replied, âCaixin has a good memory. I will definitely build a jade house, but constructing a jade house in a bustling city⦠I guess even the police wouldnât agree, right?â
Zhang Caixin glanced sideways at him, âThen Iâll have to keep an eye on you for my sister, to make sure you donât go back on your wordâ¦â
Feng Jun chuckled awkwardly. He wanted to say each sister could have their own room, but with onlookers around and staff from the park management center approaching, he didnât dare to be inappropriate.
The management center staff knew that anyone who could afford such a piece of land was no ordinary person.
But as they were responsible for the overall planning of the park, they still came to formally inform them that their design, construction, and decorating work all needed to be pre-negotiated with themâthey must get their permission.
Not to mention other aspects, just taking design into account, approval from the urban planning department doesnât mean itâs settled; it only counts when the management center gives the nod.
Approval from the urban planning means the property title will be easier to handle in the future; consent from the management center is necessary for construction!
If the latter approves but the former doesnât, itâs an illegal building; if the former approves but the latter doesnât, you probably wonât even be able to build the house.
Such issues, however, were no challenge for Sister Hong. She confidently assured them: Donât worry, we understand the rules.
Having practiced yoga all night, Sister Hong was in great spirits and looked exceptionally radiant. Her every move exuded effortless grace, coupled with a subtle regal charm that left the management center staff utterly enchanted.
Just then, a low voice whispered in his ear, âWhose legs look better, hers or mine?â
He turned his head and gave Zhang Caixin a slight smile, speaking quietly, âHer legs feel great. Yours⦠I donât know.â
âI could⦠let you find out,â Zhang Caixinâs voice grew even softer, her face lighting up with a honeyed smile, âBut Iâm a bit curious, what did you do last night?â
Thinking back to the previous night, Feng Jun pondered a moment before answering, âI realized she really cares about me, and, um, you care too.â
Zhang Caixin shook her head, her eyes a bit icy, âI donât understand.â
Feng Jun smiled, âWe just did some yoga⦠Iâll let her know youâre the one who can stay by my side the longest.â
