I pulled out my key to Mommas Brown house and walk in seeing Kaykay on the couch. She looked over at me and ran over.
"Ouu baby you getting heavy." I said picking her up hugging her.
"I know." She replied. She so sassy I don't know where she get that shit from.
"Go get your things so we can go." I told her, she ran upstairs to get her stuff. We were staying in the house since I got all my furniture with the money I had from Tiffany's.
And surprisingly I had a lot left over I was most likely gone use for Kaykay birthday party.
"Momma Brown" I called out.
"In here" she said from the dining room. I came in and sat next to her.
"What you in here doin?" I asked seeing she was on the computer.
"I'm setting my doctors appointment." I nodded and waited till she finished.
"What's new?" She asked.
"Omg you don't know...feels like we haven't talk in some time ok so first. I fully furnished my house, you gotta come see it I think you'll like it." I started off.
"I'll come over there later you gotta cook for us though." I nodded ensuring her I would.
"Me and Kane stopped talking sadly...and also I have been getting close with my mother again. But don't worry she's been clean she got her a little apartment not too far away." I hurried and said.
"Wait what happened with Kane?" She asked.
"He stopped talking to me for my protection." I said rolling my eyes.
"So have you feeling about your mom? You think she'll actually try this time and not go back to her selfish ways?" I shrugged my shoulders.
"I hope so, i don't have much trust in her at the moment but it's slowly building." Kay Kay came running in with her back pack.
"I'm readyy" she yelled smiling.
"Well be careful Summer." She said as we stood up and gave each other a hug.
"I'll see you later tonight?" She nodded.
I grabbed Kay's hand and put her in the car. On the ride to the grocery store I thought about what we should eat.

It's about damn time, we definitely gone be there.
I put my phone in my purse and got us out the car and strapped Kaykay in the seat on the buggy.
I walked around the store grabbing things I needed.
"Kaykay, what you wanna do for your birthday?" I asked looking through the limes.
"I want a bigg party." She told me.
"Do you want your mom to come?" I said unsure of her answer.
"You don't want to come?" I looked at her as I pushed the buggy.
"I do but, you know what never mind. I'm going to throw you a party." I said leaving the question alone. Once I got everything I needed, I checked out. We brought all the bags to the car.
We went home and I began cooking. I was damn near done I was just adding the final touches.
"Kay can you get the door." She ran to the door letting everyone inside.
"Hey guys." Kay said greeting everybody.
"Hey y'all Momma brown should be over here shortly. Foods almost done." I let them know.
"We brought wineee." Kehlani said.
"But we got Stella rose trynna keep it cute." Destiny quickly said.
"Y'all know how that Taylor port had us." They began laughing.
"Nah for real had paint everywhere." Destiny came beside me washing off four glasses.
"What we eating?" Kehlani asked as she poured our drinks.
"Ok so we got stuff salmon, mashed potatoes and asparagus." I said turning around looking at them.
"Is that alright?" I asked.
"Girl yes." Kehlani answered.
"Ok good I was really indecisive on what I should make." I made everyone's plate, Destiny let Momma brown and Asia in.
"Heyy Grandma." Destiny said hugging her.
"Hey baby, i didn't know y'all we're coming."
"Yea I invited them to congratulate Kehlani on finally getting her car." I explained.
"Ouu congrats, the car look good." They gave each other a hug.
"Thank y'all." I set the table up as Destiny gave out the drinks.
"What car did you end up gettin?" I asked as we all sat down.
"A Kia."
"Ouu it's twin nem." I said excitedly.
"Whats this?" Momma brown asked as she took a sip of her wine.
"Stella rose"
"What y'all know about that?" She said as we all laughed.
"What you mean what we know, don't play." Destiny said and we shook our heads.
We began to all eat.
"Mm ok summer." Kehlani said.
"This is good, and oh I'm loving the house. You did amazing sweetheart." Momma Brown complemented. I nodded giving her a smile.
"You ain't say that about my house." Destiny spit out. Momma brown gave her a look and we busted out laughing.
"Y'all are crazy." I said as I continued to eat my food. We heard a phone go off and seen it was momma browns.
"This boy just know what I'm doing at all times." She said answering the FaceTime call.
"Where you at?" Ashton asked.
"With her favorite grand child" Destiny yelled so he could hear her. Momma brown turned the camera around.
"We eating boy"
"Where y'all at?" He asked
"We at summer house she made me something to eat since y'all don't cook for me anymore. And alsoo we're congratulating kehlani on getting her car." Momma brown explained to him.
"We ain't get an invite summer." I looked up at the phone.
"You guys could come over there's plenty of food for all y'all." I told him and soon as I finished I heard them get up into the car.
"Just big onna back all of em." Destiny said shaking her head, we laughed then continued eating waiting on the to come.
"I guess this my house warming party." I shrugged.
"I guess so." I got up and opened the door for them and everybody came in and I mean everyone. Murda, Wooda, Ashton, Kane, and his dad.
"Oh yea y'all had to be speeding." Kehlani said.
"The house look good." Ashton said coming in giving me a hug.
"Hell yea we finna start coming to yo shit." Murda said.
"Thank y'all, please wash y'all hands before y'all eat." I asked grabbing both Asia and Kaykay.
"Come on you two."Â I took the girls to the room closing the door behind me.
"Whyy?" Kaykay whined. I cut the tv on putting on something they both enjoy watching.
"I don't want y'all in there with the grownups." I stated wiping off there hands and face. I handed them my phone and walked back into the kitchen.
"Excuse me"
I felt someone walk up on me grabbing my hand. I turned around seeing Kane's dad.
"Yes?" I said pulling my hand back.
"Where is your bathroom?" He asked I walked down the hall with him following I opened the door.
"Thank you, I ain't get your name." He said looking at me weird.
"It's summer, let me know if you need anything." I asked.
"Of course you have an amazing house by the way." I nodded.
"My iPad dead"Asia handed me the iPad. I held the power button waiting for it to cut on and it did.
"Here." I gave it back her.
"Can I see Kane?" Kaykay asked.
"Baby he's busy."
"Mommy please?" She pleaded.
"Let me go get him." I told her, I walked out the room walking up to Kane.
"Kaykay wanna see you."
"Where she at?" He asked looking at me.
"In her room come here." We walked back to her room. I let him walk in, she ran up to him as he picked her up.
"Hi Kane." She smiled giving him a hug. I leaned on the door frame watching them.
"Wsp gangsta, I missed you. Why you ain't come see me?"Â He asked her.
"I been working" she said making him laugh I let out a light laugh as well.
"We need to get you a phone so you can call me."
"Get me one." She hurried and said.
"I gotchu, but you be good."
"Ok you come see me?" She asked.
"Most definitely." He put her down and walked over to me closed the door than stood in the hallway.
"Let me take her out this weekend." He asked.
"No."
"Why?" He said looking at me crazy.
"If you think your soo dangerous what I look like letting you take her out to show bored her?" I replied.
"I'm just trying to let her know I ain't forget about her. You know I'll step in front of a thousand bullets before I let something happen to her." He said sounding offended.
"No kane, if anythi-" I stopped as I heard his dad walk out the bathroom. I looked down with my hands on my hips as he walked past.
"If anything you should be breaking that bond with her. If something were to happen to you, then what ima tell her? It's going to hurt her even more."
"Man ain't nothing gone happen to me." He told me.
"You don't know that, I don't want her to feel any type of pain physically or mentally." He looked around.
"Summer you can't protect her from the world. Look where she stays she needs some type of a father figure."
"I can try."
"But you don't have to when I'm right here able to provide everything Y'ALL NEED." He said slightly raising his voice.
"Please lower your voice."
"Fuck you mean? You sitting he-"
"I don't wanna keep going back and forth with you Kane. You can come over to see her if she wants you here." I said before I walked off going inside the kitchen. I grabbed everyone's plate washing them all.
"That shit was mad good summer." Wooda came up to me putting his arm around my shoulders.
"Thank you Wooda." I put the dishes up once I finished.
