"Hii kane." Kay greeted as she stood over me.
"Wsp little one." I smiled closing my eyes.
"You coming to my party tomorrow?" I nodded.
"Kaykay let me finish yo hair." Summer yelled as Kaykay ran back to her laughing. I sat up sliding on my shoes.
I folded the cover she gave me then grabbed my things and my way out.
"Igh Summer."
"Bye Kane." She yelled back i continued to walk out to the car and drove back to the crib to Shower.
"Pops" I called out as I went upstairs.
"You rolling with me today? I'm finna head out." I went in my room to get dressed once I was finished I came downstairs seeing my dad sitting down in the kitchen.
"What's on your mind?" I looked over at him before I reached in the cabinet and grabbed me something to snack on.
"I been thinking, I might get out of this dealing shit." I looked at him.
"You dead ass?" I asked.
"Hell yea, I did my time them years catching up to me. I'm trynna be a grandpa you know do old nigga shit." I laughed.
"Man what you trynna eat." I walked out to the car and so did he.
"You think I'm playing, I can't even take a punch. I'm getting there and after today I'm done. My business been in great hands." We got in the car and I looked over at him.
"We gone see." I drove to ihop we had to grab us something to eat.
*30 minutes went by*

"Nahh you used to be skinny as hell, ain't have no type of meat on yo body." He teased.
"Mmcht but who had yo ass on the ground yesterday?" I busted out laughing.
"You ain't gone stop bring that up huh?" I shook my head smiling while walked out the car.
"When you gone give me some grand baby's?" He asked looking at me.
"Nigga you got me fucked up." He laughed as we heard someone yelling.
"Welcome back bitch." A nigga hanging out the car said with a gun in his hand. He started shooting hitting my old man 4 times.
I pulled my gun out my waste band shooting at the car. They sped off speeding down the road I ran over to him helping him up.
"Aw shit." I looked at him covered in blood. As I helped him up he started speaking.
"You gotta go." He whispered.
"Nah you gone be igh." I got him in car and drove to the hospital.
"You gone be igh." I nodded telling myself he good. I pulled in front of the hospital. Going to his side and opened the door.
I looked at him seeing he was already gone I stood outside the car with my hands over my head.
"What happened?" The doctors asked as they put him on the stretcher taking him inside.
I got inside the car and pulled my phone out.
"Ashton I need you to get everybody and figure out who killed my pops. I wanna know everyone who thought about making they move or even talked about it." I told him.
"Where the fuck you at? Nigga you good?"
"Do what I told you to do." I hung up.
And went around to park the car then went inside the hospital. When a nurse came up to me asking.
"Hi, were you with the man who just came in?"
"Yes ma'am." I answered.
"I'm sorry, his injuries we're to fatal for us to do anything. He's gone."Â She told me i nodded and went out to get in the car.
I unlocked the door and stepped inside looking at the house.
"FUCK" I punched a hole in the wall before I walked in the kitchen. I grabbed a bottle and began drinking it as I went upstairs to shower.
I threw on some shorts and sat in the bed as time went by I finished the bottle. I looked around before I threw it causing it to break getting glass all over the floor.
I stood up walking down to the lounge grabbing some pills and took two. Once they kicked in I sat on the couch in my thoughts.
"Kane you a real bitch right now."
I slowly blinked as my heart started racing I heard my phone ringing I reached in my pocket trying to cut it off. But it just wouldn't stop ringing so I threw the phone across the room making it stop.
I sat there all day taking pill after pill I soon fell into a heavy sleep.

I woke up to my alarm going off, I reached over cutting it off. I got myself ready for the day and texted everyone reminding them on the times.
I headed out to the car I needed to go pick up the bounce houses and the costume decorations.
"Ok so bounce houses first." I said to myself pulling up the address.
I spent the day setting the party up and most of everyone we're already here just waiting on momma brown to bring Kaykay.
"Ima need you to start planning all the events." Destiny said sitting her gift down.
"I know right this is cutee I told her when I came in." Kehlani co signed.
"Uh you a little behind you was supposed to help me finish setting up." I looked at Destiny sideways.
"Girl I was knocked out." She waved off.
"Yea had us setting up by ourselves, even the boys made it before you." Kehlani added.
"Whats that supposed to mean?" Murda asked.
"That y'all can't seem to keep up with the time now move on." I said.
"But we here." Wooda said.
"Yea and i appreciate y'all coming and bring all these little gremlins." I said giving wooda a side hug.
"Gotta support the little one." Ashton said. We all looked at the door as Tiffany (my mom) walked in.
"Oh hell nah." Kehlani and Destiny said walking up on her.
"Wait y'all i invited her, we have been talking and getting closer she's changing her ways." I told them as I stood in front of her.
"Mhm."
"Old hag." Kehlani said giving her the stank eye. They walked off and I turned around.
"Sorry about that I'm glad to see you came Kaykay should be her in a minute. You can sit your gift on the table if it fits." I greeted her.
"I'm glad to be here." She walked over to the table as I went over to we're everyone was.
"I don't even know why you invited that old hoe." Kehlani said.
"Right like we won't walk her dog ass." Destiny said giving Kehlani a high five.
"Ok stop with the names, she different like for real." We looked over at the door seeing Kaykay.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Everyone yelled which made her smile from ear to ear. She ran up to me and I picked her up.
"Ohh you love you soo much." I said giving her kisses.
"Me too." I put her down and she ran off to go play with the kids
"If she on some slick shit you know where we at" Murda said.
"Hell yeah ." Ashton agreed and so did everyone else.
"We gone do her ass like Kane did ha nigga." Kehlani said and we all laughed.
"He did him badd"
"Man she was standing there looking stupid like she got hit." Ashton said.
"Speaking of Kane where is he?" I asked them.
"I doubt he'll come." Wooda answered.
"Why?" I asked concerned.
"You ain't heard? His pops got killed yesterday." Murda told me.
"Oh my god really?"
"Yep." Kehlani said.
I walked outside and pulled my phone out to call him but it went straight to voicemail. I tried again and seen his car pull up.
He got out the car with like 10 presents and two stacks of cash. He walked up to the house with his eyes damn near closed. I opened the door for him as he walked in.
"Appreciate it." I just stared at him. He went and sat his presents down we walked over to the group.
"Wsp y'all." He said dapping everyone up he gave destiny and Kehlani a side hug.
"Kaneee." Kaykay and Asia ran up to him.
"I got y'all stuff it's at the present table go see." He told them.
He walked up to me and holding out money as well.
"You did amaz-" I grabbed him pulling him into a hug
"How are you doing? I heard what happened." I asked. He didn't say anything he just wrapped his arms around me.
"You smell like weed come on I have some of your cologne." I grabbed his hand and went to my room.
"I tried to call when I found out but your phone went straight to voicemail." I explained as I was looking for his cologne. I was spraying it on him he pulled me into his chest.
I hugged him back rubbing his back.
"You wanna talk?" I asked he didn't say anything nor did he move at all.
He let me go and walked out going back to the party after I sprayed him down in cologne.
"Y'all got uncle Joe in here cutting up on this grill." Murda said as he brought in the last of the food.
"Food done y'all" everyone began making they plates I let kids point out what they wanted while I made their plate. They sat at the same table.
Once I was finished I looked around seeing every eating.
"He must be in the kitchen 24/7." Destiny said.
"Man you must don't know he been doing this since 1985." Ashton let out and we laughed.
"Shii he might have why you playing." Wooda joked.
"Watch it." Joe said pointing at us.
"Your food is amazing Joe thank you." I told him I looked over and seen Kane staring into space.
For a girl with a druggie for a mom weed alone don't have you like that.
"Drink this, I'm not gone force you to eat just yet but you will drink this water." I said handing him a water he grabbed it chugging it down. He couldn't even keep his eyes open.
"What have you taking?" I asked sitting beside him.
"Nothing just tired."
"You really need to lay off it you can't even keep your eyes open." I told him shaking my head.
"I'm good." I got up and went to go dance with Kaykay.
"Igh ima head out y'all" Kane said before he left.
