Chapter 519 Overwhelming Strength The bodyguards were livid when they were attacked by Skylar. So, they immediately surrounded Skylar and Yulia. However, before they could attack, they were stopped by some commotion as a few bodyguards could be heard saying, “Sir!” The bodyguards immediately stopped what they were doing and said, “Greetings, sir!”

So, Skylar and Yulia immediately turned toward the man. All they could see was a group of middle-

aged men in suits. Skylar noticed that one of them turned out to be Nathaniel’s brother, Spencer.

“Yeah.” Spencer nodded at his bodyguards. However, when he noticed the group of people around Skylar, he asked, “What’s going on? Haven’t I told you to stand in line to greet our honored guest?”

“Sir, there’s an arrogant brat that insisted on walking in the area we cleared. He attacked us when we lectured him.” The bodyguards stepped aside to allow Spencer to see Skylar and Yulia when they explained the situation. The bodyguards were livid when they were attacked by Skylar. So, they immediately surrounded Skylar and Yulia. “Skylar?” Spencer was shocked to see Skylar. However, he was furious when he finally regained his senses. He recalled how Skylar had ruined his family’s chance of getting acquainted with Milton. If Skylar did not intervene, his son might be the star general in Milton’s army. That was the only chance in gaining glory for his family. So, he absolutely resented Skylar for it. He asked, “What are you doing here, Skylar? Hurry up and step aside. You won’t be able to bear the consequences of offending my honored guest.”

Apparently, his family had controlled the market for crystals and ores in Maersk County. In order to expand his business, he had set his sights on the Capital, so he had pretty much left any work in Maersk County to his underlings. This was why he was absent when Skylar murdered Parker and had no idea that Skylar was responsible for the incident. After Milton’s incident, he assumed that Skylar might only have connections to the military and had no idea about how powerful Skylar truly was.

Skylar scoffed at Spencer’s arrogance as he said, “Oh Spencer, you shouldn’t be talking about your honored guest. You’ve startled my wife, so tell me, can you bear the consequences of doing that?”

Spencer was stunned as he did not expect Skylar to disrespect him like that. So, he snapped back at him, “What are you so arrogant about, Skylar? You only have connections in Cloudtopia, but you’re in Maersk County now. Oh yeah, the honored guest that I’m meeting is from the Fitz family from the capital! Your connections in the military are completely useless here!” Spencer looked displeased when he said that. Even the bodyguards around him were judging Skylar.
