Chapter 529 Surprise “Ah… How dare you hit me… You…” The lady glared at Skylar. However, she was scared to say anything else when she had just endured nine slaps by Skylar. So, she turned her focus back to the emcee and said, “Are you blind? Didn’t you see this man hit me? He has interrupted the competition, shouldn’t you do something about it?” If she had been polite to them, the emcee would have sided with her. However, they could not be bothered to deal with her after her outbursts.

Since the emcee was a young man, he chuckled and said, “Weren’t you the one who interrupted the competition? This man only retorted because he wanted to make sure there is no more interruption throughout the competition. I have no idea how you got hurt. I mean, you could’ve slapped yourself to frame him, right?”

As soon as the emcee said that, the other parents said, “Yeah, we’re all present and we didn’t see him slap you. You shouldn’t frame others for things that they didn’t do!”

The other parents had had enough of the lady’s outbursts, so it was only natural for them to defend Skylar.

“You… I can’t believe you’ve twisted the facts…” The lady could only complain in frustration. However, the emcee could not be bothered to deal with her, so he said, “Please watch your tone, miss. If you refuse to behave, we will disqualify your son.”

“You…” The lady was so furious that her expression was extremely bitter. So, she gritted her teeth and held her anger back for her son.

Soon, the song began to play as Lola swayed her body around as the music played while she sang.

Lola’s voice was extremely elegant and she looked like an angel underneath the spotlights. Everyone was captivated by her performance. It seemed that with Valerie’s coaching, her voice had touched the souls of every single judges and audience there. Suddenly, before the music ended, she took out a leaf from her pocket and placed the microphone aside.

“Why did she stop? The song hasn’t ended yet?”

“Look, she has a leat. I wonder what she’s up to.” The other parents wondered.

They noticed that Lola had pressed the leaf against her lips and began blowing. It did not take long for the melody to overwhelm the entire stadium as everyone was instantly captivated by her performance.

None of them expected that a single leaf could charm them that much.
