Killian couldn't stop thinking about his little feisty mate. He still didn't want a mate but someone should have warned him of how amazing his mate would be. He hadn't even known her for long and he was almost smitten.
It scared and thrilled him at the same time.
He just didn't know what to do with her. She had already threatened him not to reject her. Killian just chuckled remembering her words. No one had ever had the guts to threatened him ,well except his enemies who all turned out to be pussies in the end. He could have said is because she didn't know him but she was a member of his pack, he could tell from the pack link. So she knew exactly who he was and still threatened him. That was honestly the hottest thing a girl has ever said to him.
Which actually made him pounder, why hadn't he found her until now. She could have just turned 18 but those curves were of a full grown woman. Dammn those curves, Killian could almost feel them again in his palms and on him .He shifted uncomfortably in his chair, trying to adjust himself. Uurggh this wasn't good, not good at all.
"Alpha are you okay? You seem distracted"
Liam had noticed something was different with Elijah, the minute he stepped into that office. He was 100% sure it was due to that girl that had jumped the alpha, literally. He had tried getting information from his best friend with no vail ,but he had a suspension that that girl was the alpha's mate. The only thing that made him doubt was the fact that the girl looked around 19 or 20, and she was definitely from this pack. Why had they not found each other yet?
He wasn't the only one who noticed the alpha's odd behavior, the other two guys in the room did.
He was mumbling to himself, shifting in his sit and even chuckled!!
Or maybe the alpha was finally loosing it.
Killian suddenly remembered why his time with his mate had been cut short. The meeting, it was an urgent one, his pack members knew better not to involve him unless it was urgent.
Some rogues had been spotted on their pack boarder for two weeks now. They weren't attacking just appearing in a distance and then flee. They were obviously trying to survey his territory and shift patrols. The issue was rogues didn't do that ,they were brainless crazed wolves with no packs. And from their scents they were definitely rogues, one had actually been killed by one of the traps outside his territory.
So that led them to believe someone was trying to build an army of rogues and the target was his pack.
Normally Killian wouldn't be very bothered by wars, he would actually be thrilled, blood shed was his specialty. But today for some reason the thought didn't quite sit well with him. He wasn't afraid, no Alpha Killian was never afraid of danger. But now when he thought of war a certain girl's name would pop in his mind and he didn't understand why.
"Continue monitoring them, change our shift patrol randomly and have spies follow some of them. I want a name by the next meeting "
With that he was out of the door.
They were already used to him, but he was a great leader so they always followed exactly what he said.
"Yes Alpha "
Like soldiers the meeting was dismissed.
" where did she go"
"Who?"
"Don't play dumb with me, I'm your best friend atleast tell me if she is your mate"
The alpha just walked on ignoring his Beta.
"Common on I tell you everything!"
Liam whined.
Killian walked to his house, he really needed a shower, a cold one. Also he hadn't had lunch yet, he was starving, though if he had a Liah for lunch he wouldn't mind....Killian growled in irritation that was the cheesiest stupid thought he had ever had.
" fuck that woman "
He needed to find something to do to that situation and fast.
