Chapter 21 Fighting Cardory
The pressure was so potent that Odin was barely moveable but, all of a sudden, he recalled the dodging techniques Carlot once taught him. Calming his mind, Odin released his Qi energy, clashing against the trio. Just as both sides reached a balance, he abruptly crouched and stormed forward, dodging the trioâs attack. However, it was inevitable for his face to be cut by the trioâs Qi energy as it began bleeding.
Wiping the blood on his cheek off, Odin frowned, âLooks like youâre not going to let me go, then I wonât hold back anymore!â
As the Qi energy was continuously surging outward, Odinâs surroundings distorted. His gaze began to sharpen and vicious.
Using his Qi energy, Odin shattered the trioâs initial triangular formation, forcing them apart. Turning his body around, Odin directly punched Carlotâs chin, sending him to crash onto the crowd.
The crowd was startled by the amount of Qi energy within the punch as it knocked Carlot out of cold straight away. He was still puking out blood while fainted. The crowd was afraid to be dirtied by the blood so they carried Carlot and leaned him on the pillar, patting his back so he could swiftly cough out the blood.
With a âPfftâ, Carlot puked out the blood, barely awoken from his unconscious state. He felt his internal organs squirming as he felt dizzy, unable to see what was in front of him.
âBrother!â Seeing Carlot squirming in pain and puking blood, Carna was instantly shocked. Losing her principles, she directly swung her fist at Odinâs temple.
Such prowess was unthreatening to Odin. Slightly moving his head to dodge Carnaâs fist, Leo reached his left hand to grab the flying Carna and another hand slammed at her back.
Carna was sent flying with a âGuagh!â as blood was vomited. Her right arm grabbed by Odin was broken too, powerlessly hanging on her side.
âIâll kill you!â Cardory saw Carlot and Carna had almost fainted in pain. âAttracting the wolf was my fault, let me correct this mistake myself, right now!â
âCardory, you know you canât win against me. Stop acting tough or else youâll end up the same as they were.â Remaining on his spot, Odin was staring at the frantic Cardoy with some undefined feelings. It was Cardory who discovered his talent and it was also her who stated would believe him but with current circumstances, it was impossible for him to be regretless, but it was even more impossible for him to let go of his life!
Completely disregarding Odinâs words, Cardory pulled out an exquisite transparent vial with dark green liquid in it. A silver wisteria was carved on the vial and it was tightly sealed by a cork. A faint aroma covered the entire room as Cardory removed the cork.
âSister, no! It will cause an intense repercussion!â Carna was anxious when she saw Cardory taking out the vial as she ignored her exploding pain and yelled at Cardory.
However, the latter clearly dismissed Carna as if she made the decision. Swallowing the dark green liquid in the vile, Cardoryâs body was emitting a faint dark green halo. Soon, it was immediately absorbed by the body as Cardoryâs eyes become bloodshot.
âThat liquid!â Some of the members by the side yelped as if they recognized the liquid.
âBut isnât that listed as a forbidden drug? Why does Cardory have such a thing?!â A silver-haired member questioned.
âDo all of you know what that is?â It was the glass-wearing boyâs voice.
âItâs a kind of drug that swiftly enhances oneâs Qi energy. Itâs different from those drugs that increase Strength or Agility, this drug has a heavy backlash. Iâve heard that someone was bedridden for an entire week and even fell into a vegetative state. So, thatâs why it was banned by the Drug Control Department.â The silver-haired boy frowned as he scrutinized the reason for them to fight to the point Cardory was desperate to win.
Cardoryâs aura was changing, even Odin could perceive it. It was several times more powerful than the trioâs Qi energy just now.
âAre you insane, Cardory?!â Such potent changes of the Qi energy, although Odin was unaware what drug it was, it was evidently not some ordinary drug.
âStop speaking nonsense!â Cardory cried as she charged at Odin.
Stomping his feet, Odin leaped into the midair and even did a couple of flips before landing, pulling a three or four meters distance between both of them.
However, Cardory as if lost her reasons, charged with brute force. Odinâs speed was agile and so Cadoryâs every punch would be late by a beat. Each punch was solidly hammered on the ground causing the entire ground to crack.
Odin noticed that although Cardory, who drank the drug, was instantly powered up and every punch reached a terrifying state, it was because of this that her Agility reduced. If it was an ordinary person facing Cardory, her Agility naturally was greater. However, she was facing Odin, who had exceptional Agility.
Relying on his Agility, Odin gradually detected a breakthrough point to defeat Cardory.
Such an imposing strength dragged Cardory down but as if she couldnât feel any pain, she forcefully pried herself up and swung her entire arm at Odinâs face.
Odin was sent flying by Cardoryâs punch that was bursting with Qi energy as his mouth had traces of blood. Seeing he almost crashed into the pillar, Odin swiftly turned his body and stopped on the pillar before gradually slowing himself down and steadily landing on the ground.
âCough, cough.â Cardoryâs punch just now was too ruthless, causing Odin unable to concentrate. But Cardory wasnât in any better state than Odin. Launching the fist at her limit, Cardory right now was slightly deflated as she began huffing and puffing for air. Her face remained ruthless and her eyes were still filled with bloodshot.
