We come inside in a room and Abhimanyu looked at me.
" Listen you have to behave like a good wife in front of my Dad" he instructs me.
" And what about a good husband?" I narrowed my eyes at him.
" Don't test my patience" he said.
" Now get ready fast I don't want anything to go wrong," he said and get out of the room.
Ok, so he wants me to impress his dad ok let's impress my father-in-law. I take a saree and get ready.
After getting ready I did makeup and curl my waist-length hair from the bottom.
I look at the sindoor box in front of me. I take a little in my finger then I remember something. I looked at myself in the mirror and start acting.
" Ek chutki sindoor ki kimat tum kya jano Abhimanyu babu ishbar ka ashirwaad hota h ek chutki sindoor.........."
" Suhagan ke shar ka taj hota ha ek chutki sindoor.........."
" Har aurat ka khawab hota ha ek chutki sindoor........."
And I laugh I apply sindoor woah I look different should I put ghughat also no isn't it too much.
" Are you done?" Abhimanyu yelled from downstairs
" Yes," I said and come out of the room as I was descending the stairs I look at Abhimanyu who is keeping facing from here to there he looks nervous.
I come and stand in front of him.
" Are you nervous?" I asked him he look at me from down to up and his gaze linger on my forehead then he looks back into my eyes.
" Of course not"
" Ok"
" Sir Mr.Singhania car reached at the gate" an employee come and informed us.
" Oh ok," Abhimanyu said like I said clearly nervous.
Three-four cars come and stop in front of the door. The car's door's open and people start to come out. Then a person comes outside in a three-piece suit and from his aura, I can tell he is Mr. Tej Singhania.
I and Abhimanyu both standing at the door of the mansion for his welcome.
He comes and looks at Abhimanyu first.
" Dad," Abhimanyu said.
" Son" he nodded woah no hi no hello not even a hug is Abhimanyu really his son.
Then he looks at me and raises his eyebrow he looks intimidating.
An arm wrap around my waist and pulled me closer to the person.
" Dad meet my wife Samridhi," Abhimanyu said.
And I smile looking at my father in law but he doesn't smile back he nodded and gets inside the mansion.
It looks like he doesn't like me. Abhimanyu let go of my waist and get inside arranging things for his father.

After doing some arrangements I go to my Dad's room. I knock it and he comes in.
" Dad how was your trip," I asked him.
" I handle the post of CEO very well here," I said.
" I can handle the whole Singhania industries too," I said but still no reply.
" You come here to talk about this I thought you come here to say that today's dinner will be prepared by your daughter-in-law so I can prepare shagun," he said.
" Oh about that yes your daughter-in-law will be made dinner tonight," I said and come back to my room.

I don't think father-in-law is impressed by me.
The door opens and Abhimanyu comes inside he looks like he is in tension. Then he looked at me and start coming towards me I swear if he gets angry at me I will tell everything to his dad.
" Get ready you have to make dinner tonight," he said and the color drained from my face.
" What?" I shout.
" Shhh keep your voice low" he went towards the door and shut it.
" Now say"
" You know I don't how to cook"
" Then learn it"
" Are you crazy you can't learn cooking overnight"
" Then do something because Dad wants to eat food made by his daughter-in-law," he said frustratingly run his hand from hair pacing here and there.
" Then tell him that his daughter in law doesn't know how to cook food"
" I can't do this"
" Why?"
" Because you have to create a perfect image of daughter-in-law in front of my Dad. A perfect daughter in law who cares for her family, love her husband, and knows how to cook food"
" I agree with the first two things because a good daughter in law do that but cooking food doesn't include in this ok"
" It does"
" Why cooking food is important you have maids in your house who cook everyday it not like some mountain will break"
"Some mountain will not break but your image of a good daughter-in-law will break. I want dad to think that I married an innocent sweet girl, not some spoiled girl"
" Are you saying those girls who don't know how to cook are spoiled"
" No I'm not saying this it just comes out in flow ok I didn't mean it "
"You know even if I try it I would not able to cook food once I try to make roti but it becomes papad"
" Then we have to find some option," he said sitting on the bed.
Night
At the dinner table, I arrange the plates and dishes.
" Is everything right?" Abhimanyu asked me before sitting.
" Yes "
His Dad comes and sits on his head chair. And I start serving everything on his plate. He asks me to sit so I sit beside Abhimanyu.
He started his food and I know his reaction already because the food is from the best hotel in Mumbai no one can dislike it. It was not my idea it was Abhimanyu's.
He looked at me and said.
" It's very delicious," he said.
" Thank you" I replied while smiling.
"Here's your gift," he said forwarding a box towards me.
I take it and look inside it. It has beautiful bangles. I wear them.
" Why don't you both feed each other," his dad said smile leave from my face.
I looked at Abhimanyu through my eyes I say no but he obviously ignores me and forward a morsel towards me but I don't open my mouth.
His hand come and rest on my bare waist and my eyes widened he suddenly pinched my waist and I gasped he take this opportunity and shoved the morsel in my mouth. I glare at him and kick him on his foot with my heel. He glares at me and I smile back.
It was my turn so I forward my hand towards his mouth and he smirked at me before opening his mouth as I made him eat he suddenly bite on my finger and I take my hand away he looked at me smirking ohh how much I want to punch him so his teeth will break. But I can't as his dad is looking towards us.
Morning
" Samridhi get up" someone was shaking me.
" Samridhi" and I open my eyes.
" What the hell Abhimanyu," I said while yawning.
" Get up," he said.
" Let me sleep," I said and look towards the clock it's showing at 5 am " are you crazy it's still night let me sleep," I said to turn on my side.
" Get up"
" No," I said and hide my face in the pillow and goes back to my dreamland.
Suddenly I feel like I'm flying wow it feels amazing yay I was enjoying it but suddenly a cool sensation went through my body and my eyes instantly open. I find myself in the bathtub.
" Now shower and get out fast," Abhimanyu said and go outside.
I swear you will pay for this Abhimanyu.
I get ready in a light green color saree and come outside finding Abhimanyu also ready.
"I wake you up so you can get ready by now it's 6:00 am means Dad gets up for his morning walk" I raise my one eyebrow at him.
" Now be a good daughter-in-law and go downstairs and make arrangements for pooja," he said.
" Pooja" I repeated.
" Yes pooja as Dad come back from morning walk he will get ready so I want to do pooja like a good daughter in law so we will all start our day and after that, we will do breakfast"
" Wow you know you should write a book on how to be a good daughter in law I'm sure you'll help so many girls," I said clapping.
He looks unimpressed. I shrug and go down making preparations for pooja hey I know how to do pooja ok.
I take arti ki thaal in my hand and start doing pooja. I know Abhimanyu and his dad is behind me as I end the pooja I give arti to both of them and we get to the breakfast table.
It was 9:00 am and we all sit in our place.
" So Abhimanyu gets ready for office" his dad looked at him.
Wahh laad shahab who go to the office till afternoon today he is going before peon.
