As the sun dipped below the horizon and stars began to twinkle in the darkening sky, the group gathered around the roaring campfire. The crackling flames cast warm shadows on their faces, and the smell of roasted marshmallows filled the air.

Amber clapped her hands together with excitement. “Alright! Campfire stories time!”

Venti grinned mischievously, holding a stick with a half-burnt marshmallow on the end. “Who wants to hear a ghost story? I promise it’ll be absolutely terrifying!”

Scaramouche rolled his eyes, arms crossed. “Your stories are more comedy than horror, windbag.”

Lumine chuckled, biting into her marshmallow. “I’m actually curious. Go on, Venti.”

Venti cleared his throat dramatically and began his tale.

“The Tale of the Forest Shadow”

“There once was a camper who wandered too far into the forest at night…” Venti began in a low, eerie voice. The others leaned closer to the fire.

As Venti continued, Kazuha’s calm face seemed to pale slightly as he glanced toward the shadowy treeline behind them. Ayaka clutched Amber’s arm tightly, while Aether casually munched on chips, unimpressed.

“And then… THE SHADOW APPEARED BEHIND HIM!” Venti suddenly shouted, causing Amber and Ayaka to shriek, clutching each other.

Scaramouche smirked. “Pathetic.”

But just then, a branch snapped behind them.

Everyone froze.

Lumine’s eyes darted to the trees. “Did… did anyone else hear that?”

Amber squeaked. “I-It’s probably just an animal… right?”

Kazuha stood up, his eyes scanning the darkness. “I’ll check it out.”

Before anyone could stop him, Kazuha disappeared into the treeline.

Five Minutes Later…

Kazuha suddenly emerged from the bushes with an unbothered expression. “It was just a squirrel.”

Venti sighed in relief. “Well, there goes the spooky mood.”

Scaramouche smirked. “Squirrel or not, some of you looked ready to run for your lives.”

Amber pouted. “I wasn’t scared… just… surprised!”

The group laughed and continued their night around the fire, roasting marshmallows and sharing silly stories.

Later That Night – Midnight Chaos

When it was time for everyone to head back to their tents, the real chaos began.

Amber & Ayaka’s Tent:

Amber was already tucked into her sleeping bag, snoring lightly, while Ayaka nervously peeked out of the tent flap every few minutes.

“Amber… what if the shadow from Venti’s story comes after us?” Ayaka whispered.

Amber mumbled in her sleep, “Just… give it a marshmallow…”

Ayaka sighed, realizing her tentmate was deep in dreamland.

Venti & Albedo’s Tent:

Venti lay sprawled across half of their tent, snoring loudly and hugging his bag of marshmallows like a pillow.

Albedo sat cross-legged, his flashlight aimed at a science journal. “How did I end up with him as a tentmate…”

Venti let out a loud snore, followed by a muffled, “No… my marshmallows…”

Albedo sighed and rubbed his temples.

Kazuha & Aether’s Tent:

Aether was trying to organize their bags while Kazuha peacefully meditated in the corner.

“Aether, you don’t have to rearrange everything again. It’s fine,” Kazuha said calmly.

Aether paused mid-sorting. “But what if I lose something important? Like… snacks!”

Kazuha chuckled. “We’ll survive the night, Aether.”

Lumine & Scaramouche’s Tent:

Lumine was lying down in her sleeping bag, staring at the tent ceiling while Scaramouche sat cross-legged beside her, scrolling through his phone. (Random)

“Why aren’t you sleeping?” Lumine asked.

“Why aren’t you sleeping?” Scaramouche countered, not looking away from his screen.

Lumine sighed. “It’s too quiet. It feels… weird.”

Scaramouche smirked faintly. “If you’re scared, you can move closer. I promise I won’t bite.”

Lumine threw her pillow at him. “Shut up and go to sleep!”

Scaramouche chuckled softly but put his phone away and lay down.

The Midnight Prank:

Around 2 AM, Aether suddenly poked his head into Lumine and Scaramouche’s tent.

“Hey! You guys awake?”

Scaramouche groaned. “What now, Blondie?”

Aether grinned mischievously. “Prank time. Let’s hit Venti’s tent with water balloons.”

Lumine’s eyes widened. “You brought water balloons?!”

Aether smirked. “Always prepared.”

Minutes later, Lumine, Aether, and Scaramouche crept up to Venti and Albedo’s tent with water balloons in hand.

“On three,” Aether whispered. “One… two… THREE!”

The balloons burst loudly against the tent, and a very startled Venti let out a high-pitched scream.

“MY MARSHMALLOWS ARE DROWNING!” Venti wailed.

Albedo sighed deeply from inside. “I should’ve slept in the car…”

The trio ran back to their tents, trying (and failing) to stifle their laughter.

As the night wore on and the chaos finally settled, the group slowly drifted off to sleep under the starry sky.

Tomorrow promised more adventures, more chaos, and undoubtedly, more unforgettable memories.
