She raised one hand and touches his cheek with her fingertips. Her heart clenches painfully as she slowly move her fingertips from his cheek to his jaw and stop at his chin where her gaze linger on his lips.

"Honestly, I never wanted to marry your brother" she murmured thickly as she keeps his gaze on her fingertips that is now caressing his lower lip.

Etienne did not answer or move away, just keep on watching her face with his unfathomable grey eyes.

"Will you kiss me?" she asked in a small voice.
