Chapter 19: Leia and Leya

She's The Daughter Of A GodWords: 5618

The dinner table was quiet. Clint didn't bother to whistle. I looked at Loki, who smirked. I'm guessing he had the same idea that I was having. We both began to whistle, causing the attention to come toward us.

"First, Clint. Now you two", Natasha complains.

"Well it's annoying on how quiet this is", I said.

"I'm with the kid on this one", Clint says. "Can someone say something?"

Everyone started whistling. Me and Clint were laughing our heads off.

After dinner, I went to the living room to watch a Star Wars movie. Loki and Thor, who are apparently my father and uncle, came in and sat down next to me.

"Is this Percy Jackson?" Loki asks.

"No, it's Star Wars. This is Episode 6, Return of the Jedi. I got my name from here", I said.

"What do you mean by that, Lady Leya", Thor asks.

"In Star Wars, there's a character named Leia Organa. She's the twin sister of Luke Skywalker and the daughter of Darth Vader aka Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala of Naboo. She's a princess and she leads a group of heroes called Rebels", I explained.

"She sounds interesting", Thor says.

"Do I have a twin?" I asked randomly.

"Not that I know of", Loki says.

"So that's a yes?" I asked.

"No, Leya. You do not have a twin", Loki says.

"But you are a princess of Asgard", Thor says. I froze in silence. I looked at Thor, then Loki and back to Thor.

"I'm a what?!" I shouted. Loki and Thor both chuckled at my reaction. Clint and Natasha came in. "What's all the commotion about?" Clint asked.

"I've learned something shocking", I said dramatically.

"Thor told her she's the princess of Asgard", Loki says.

"How's that possible? Does this mean I have to wear a dress?" I asked, hoping the answer is no. I hate wearing a dress and makeup and fancy shoes.

"Not at this moment", Loki says. In other words, the answer is yes.

"Why do you think Tony named you Leya", Clint says, exposing Tony. The room went silence.

"DAD!" I shouted for Tony as I got up and walked to the lab.

"Is she about to go crazy", Natasha asks.

"Possibly", Loki says.

The four adults followed me. They got on the elevator with me. We were silent until Loki spoke. "I want you all to know that if Leya goes crazy, she gets that from her mother", he says. I frowned. "If she goes mad, that's from me".

"How am I not surprised?" Natasha, Me and Clint says at once.

"What was she like? My mother", I asked.

"Your mother, Adira was smart, funny, kind and really beautiful", Loki explains.

"Natasha is all of those except funny", Clint says. Loki glares at Clint. "Okay, not the time".

"Yeah, really not the time, Clint", I said.

The elevator took us to the floor that Tony and Bruce's lab were on. "DAD!" I shouted. Tony looks up from his work.

"Hey Leya. What's wrong?" Tony asks.

"I just want to know why you named me after Leia Organa", I said.

"Because Leia is strong women who fights for what she believes in. She's not a quitter and she's fierce. Oh, and she's pretty", Tony explains. I smile at Tony's explanation.

"I can be fierce when I want to", I said.

"See. It wasn't hard to name you", Tony says.

"Did you really name her or did Pepper come up with the name?" Natasha asks. Tony went silent as the five of us stared at him.

"I named her", Tony lied.

"You're lying", Me and Loki says in unison.

Tony glares at us. "Okay, Duo. You caught me", Tony admitted. Me and Loki nodded.

"Since I'm the next Leia Organa, can I have a blaster?" I asked.

"Kid, wait until you're 16", Tony says.

"Actually...", Clint says. Everyone looks at him as he pulls a blaster out of his weapon belt. "I was going to wait until you're birthday", he says as he gives the blaster to me.

"Clint, you need to talk to me before you give her these things", Tony says.

"You're lucky I didn't give her an actual lightsaber", Clint says.

"He has a point on that", Loki says.I ran to the training room to test out my new blaster.

"And she's off again", I hear Clint say behind me.

All five adults followed me. I aim at one of the targets. "Do you know how to use one of those?" Natasha asks.

"Yeah, you pull the trigger", I said. Rey said the same thing when Han Solo gave her the blaster.

"There's more to it than that", Clint says. A line said by Han Solo.

"Uh, is this safe?" Tony asks.

"Tony, relax", Natasha says.

"Yes, Stark. Everything is fine. Natasha and Barton are with her", Loki says.

"Or you can just call me Clint", Clint says. Loki shook his head. Clint rolls his eyes. Clint and Nat taught me how to use the blaster. Meanwhile, my adoptive father and my biological father were arguing on whether or not this is safe for me. I felt bad for Thor because he had to sit next to the two and listen to them arguing. "Class is dismissed", Clint says.

"And please shut your father up. Both of them", Natasha says. I walked over to Tony and Loki who are still arguing. I cleared my throat, getting their attention.

"What's the problem? I like using a blaster. I'm very good at it", I said.

"A 13 year old should not be holding a blaster", Tony says.

"You have a titanium metal suit that shoots blasters", I pointed out.

"That's different. I'm grown", Tony says. Okay, he had a point, but if I live with a bunch of superheroes, I should learn how to protect myself, especially since I'm a princess that is definitely. Not. Wear. A dress.

"I like this blaster. It's my type", I said.

"So you're married now?" Tony asks. Me and Loki looked at Tony like he's crazy.

I walked out of the room, done with this conversation. I went to my room and laid my blaster next to my bed. Just in case of a break in. What? I'm Leya Stark and apparently a princess. I need a blaster to fight dirty.
