3rd person's point of view
"NATASHA!" Loki calls out in anger. Natasha comes into the living room. The other children except Jack went back to their rooms. "I had to do it", she said.
"Why?" Loki asks calmly. "Why did you do it? What are they going to do with her?"
"I didn't want to do it, but I had to. What if she ever lost control of her powers again?" Natasha asks.
"That is not your choice to make!" Loki shouts.
"Well you wouldn't have done it, would you?" Natasha asks, raising her voice slightly.
"No, of course not".
"Exactly. I was trying to do what's best-!"
"You don't get to decide what's best for her!"
"Oh, but you do? Last I checked, you were never her father!"
"Well you're not her mother!"
Thor puts a hand on Loki's shoulder and tries to speak, but Loki tells him to stay out of it. "I can't believe I trusted you, Agent Romanoff", Loki says.
"So we're back to Agent Romanoff now?" Natasha asks, annoyed.
"Oh I'm sorry", Loki says sarcastically. "Is that a problem?"
"No, I'm just wondering if you think that offends me", Natasha says.
"The only reason why I called you Natasha, the only reason why I trusted you is because...", Loki stops himself, knowing that now is not the time to tell her.
"I'm listening", Natasha snaps.
There was a moment of silence. Natasha's expression softens when she begins to realize what he was about to say.
"Loki", she says softly and in a less angry way.
"Forget it. What's the point on telling you after you betrayed me", Loki says.
Loki storms out of the room with Tony following behind. Natasha began to feel guilty. Clint gives her a concerned look, knowing that she knew the rest of that sentence.
"What was he about to say?" Clint asks. Natasha goes silent. "Nat". Natasha looks away from Clint. Natasha didn't know what to say. She didn't know how to explain. She turned around to face Clint and says, "I think I have feelings for Loki".
