Leya's point of view

I sat on my bed, reading a Percy Jackson book. My favorite one, The Lightning Thief.

I heard a knock on my door. I don't know why since it was already opened. I looked up and saw Loki standing there. I wanted to be polite and I invited him in. "You like to read, too?" Loki asks me. I nodded.

"What's it called?"he asks. I showed him the book.

"The Lightning Thief. It's my favorite out of all the Percy Jackson books.", I said.

"So this boy steals lightning from my brother?" Loki asks.

"Actually he didn't steal it. In this story, your brother doesn't have the lightning", I explained. Loki looked impressed.

"Who does?" Loki asks.

"Tall guy with beard", I joked. Loki and I laughed.

"Are you really adopted like me", I asked Loki. His smile disappears.

"Yeah", He responds.

"Do you ever wonder who your real parents are?" I asked.

"I know who my father is. He's not a good person. That's where I get it from", Loki says. I looked at him sadly. I hugged him. Obviously, he wasn't used to someone hugging him.

"You are a good guy, Loki", I said, looking up at Loki. Loki looks down at me. Man, I hate being short. I want to be as tall as Nat. "I'm not a good guy. You don't know me, Leya. How do you know I'm a good guy", Loki asks.

"I have hope. There is good in you", I said.

"If you are right, if there really is good in me, I can't see it", Loki says. Loki and I sat on my bed. I leaned on him, my head was up to his chest. "You'll see it, Loki", I said.

3rd person's point of view

The Avengers found out that Loki wasn't in his room. The Avengers rushed to Leya's room and saw Loki in there with Leya. "Loki, I swear-", Tony was cut off by Loki, who puts his pointer finger up to his lips to shush Tony. The Avengers were confused until they saw Leya sleeping next to Loki.

"The young one is tired", Loki whispers. Loki and Tony careful took Leya off of Loki, setting her on the bed. The Avengers and Loki leave Leya in her room.

"Who are her parents? Her real parents?" Loki asks Tony.

"I thought you didn't care about human children", Tony says. Loki hesitated. He didn't care about Leya, did he?

"I don't. I'm just curious", Loki says. Tony rolls his eyes.

"Do me a favor, stay away from her. She doesn't need to be attached to a villainous person like you,  who's gonna backstab her as soon as she gives you her trust", Tony says. He storms out of the living room.

Natasha stood from the couch. "I'll talk to him", Natasha says. Natasha walks out of the room.  Clint stands up after Natasha leaves the room. "I'm gonna go make sure she doesn't hurt Tony", Clint says.

"Let her", Loki says.

Clint shrugs his shoulders and sits back down as if saying, not a bad idea.
