I’ll inform the police and interrogate the Aston family’s driver to see if I can extract any useful information,” Marisa said, standing up and adjusting her uniform. “You might need to stay put for a while. Stay in touch, and call me if anything comes up.” Eileen got up and escorted Marisa out.

Outside the door, Marisa gave Eileen her phone number. “Kamila’s family has lost their influence. She doesn’t have the power she once did. If I can gather enough evidence, I’ll clear your name. Marisa sighed before turning and walking away. After exchanging a few words with her colleagues, she and the others got into their cars and drove off.

Once their cars were out of sight, Eileen turned back to the villa, only to overhear Leyla whispering to Bryan, “Don’t worry, Bryan. We’ll return to Onaland soon enough. Encourage Eileen to start having children once we get there. Make sure she’s in good health, and I’ll do my best to make sure she has two kids within three years.”

“Grandma, Eileen’s health comes first, but I see your point. I’ll leave it in your hands,” Bryan said as he sat down beside Leyla.

Leyla chuckled, her face creasing with wrinkles. “I’ll look after your little ones as long as I’m able. You two can have as many babies as you like, and Eileen’s foster mother can lend a hand too. I’ve spoken to her twice already, and she’s on board with the idea of Eileen having more children.”
