Chapter 351:
After a moment, Eileen turned around and lay flat, her eyes shimmering slightly with emotion.
âI hesitate to say it because it might not be a surprise, but rather a shock,â she murmured.
âThen Iâll give you two choices,â Bryan said abruptly, pinning her beneath him. His breath was ragged as he spoke close to her head, his voice unsteady. âEither come clean or help me with it.â
He felt he couldnât let her leave.
âIâll come clean!â Eileen immediately opted for honesty, but before she could say more, Bryan leaned in to silence her with a kiss.
The kiss, intense and unrestrained, caused the roomâs temperature to climb. His hands, slender and precise, began to unbutton her blouse.
The choice between the two options wasnât really hers; it was his.
The two of them, having not been intimate for so long, now came together like tinder meeting a spark. His suggestion to âhelp himâ might have been genuine.
But for Eileen, it was also a form of torture.
Ultimately, neither found satisfaction. Around eleven, Eileen straightened her clothes, went to the bathroom to wash her hands, and splashed cold water on her face.
She couldnât bring herself to tell Bryan the truth. After washing up, she avoided going back to bed and left the room directly.
Given Bryanâs condition, he probably needed a cold shower to calm his desires that night.
Elsewhere, Josue had already seen Gabriela home and was now playing chess with Milford.
Gabriela, having napped earlier, was still not sleepy, lying on the sofa with wide eyes, watching them play.
Upon seeing her, Josue turned to Milford and said, âCover your ears.â
Milford rolled his eyes, tossed aside the game pieces, and carried Gabriela upstairs, remarking, âYou adults are annoying. Donât corrupt my Gabriela.â
Josue chuckled. âOne day, youâll find yourself more annoying than I am.â
âQuit the nonsense and donât set a bad example for the kid,â Eileen said as she entered without even closing the door behind her. âGo get some rest.â
âI didnât expect you back tonight. I was planning to stay here,â Josue said, stretching leisurely. âFrom tomorrow, Iâll take Gabriela to the office with me every day. Bryan will end up liking her.â
