Chapter 415:
Feigning ignorance, Eileen approached him and said, âThe dinner wrapped up well. Thereâs no need for you to stay here any longer.â
âThat quick?â Julio stood, surprised, as he pocketed his phone. âAre you all heading out too?â
âYouâll have another round with them and leave after eating,â Eileen said, figuring that if she didnât leave soon, Raymond wouldnât make it out of the hotel on his own feet tonight.
Julio nodded towards the door. âOkay, Iâll head out first.â
As Eileen and Julio left the room, they spotted a figure rushing toward the restroom.
âDolores?â Julio said uncertainly and turned to Eileen. âIs that Dolores?â
âI think so.â Even without a clear view of her face, Eileen was quite certain it was Dolores, judging from her figure.
Before Eileen could respond, Julio quickly moved toward the restroom, finding Dolores vomiting at the sink, unable to reach the toilet in time.
Dolores hadnât consumed much due to her pregnancy, leaving her with an uncomfortable feeling in her stomach.
Eventually, Dolores pulled a candy from her pocket and placed it in her mouth to alleviate the nausea.
Resting against the wall, Dolores was about to relax when she noticed two figures standing in the corner of the restroom.
âAre you pregnant?â Julio inquired with near certainty.

Doloresâ heart pounded.
She attempted to stay composed and retorted, âWhat does it matter to you?â
âIf the child isnât mine, itâs none of my concern,â Julio responded, vividly remembering their last encounter, which had involved him being unwittingly drugged.
And no precautions were taken.
Julio adjusted his tie, his impatience and somber mood evident. He approached Dalores and stated firmly, âYou need to get checked.â
âWhy should I?â Dalores dodged his extended hand. âI know my own body. And even if I am pregnant, it has nothing to do with you. Iâve been with many men. The baby might not even be yours!â
Julio didnât believe her claim. His lips pressed tightly together as he countered sharply, âA check-up will tell.â
He knew Dalores well enough to doubt her words.
His fingers clamped down on her wrist, firm and unyielding, like a lion capturing its prey.
