Chapter 416:
Fear flickered in Daloresâ eyes as she struggled to free herself. âWhatâs your problem? Iâm not even married. People will judge me if I go for a pregnancy test!â she exclaimed, trying to resist as Julio forcefully led her out of the restroom.
Dalores turned to Eileen for help, desperation written across her face.
âMs. Curtis, help me!â
Her pleading eyes met Eileenâs, but the latter was taken off guard when Dalores was suddenly embraced, nearly losing her balance.
Struggling to keep her footing, Dalores was still being pulled by Julio.
âLet her go!â Eileen rushed forward to intervene. âIf sheâs really pregnant, you could harm the baby!â
âIt doesnât matter,â Julio responded coldly, assisting Dalores to her feet and grabbing her wrists. His gaze was steely, unwavering. âIf the child is mine, it cannot stay.â
Daloresâ eyes widened in terror at his words. To her, Julio now seemed monstrous, almost devilish.
Eileen stood frozen, speechless in shock, unable to utter a word.
Julioâs situation was complicated. He needed to marry into the Harrison family to secure his position. Revealing this pregnancy would cause the Harrison family to break the engagement, potentially devastating the Freguson Group.
Without waiting for Eileen to process the situation, or for Dalores to respond, Julio scooped Dalores onto his shoulder and strode away.
Dalores beat her fists against his back, weeping and shouting curses.

As Benjamin emerged from the private room, Julio and Dalores were already stepping into the elevator.
He found Eileen standing there, dazed. âWhat happened?â
âNothing,â Eileen replied, her expression distant.
She knew she couldnât interfere in Julioâs matters or control his actions.
Chasing after them would only complicate things further.
âLetâs head back and wrap up dinner early,â Eileen suggested, her thoughts clearly elsewhere.
The dinner concluded ahead of schedule. When Eileen got home, Gabriela was still playing in the living room with Ruby.
Upon seeing Eileen, Gabriela made an effort to move toward her, clumsily rolling on the floor.
Eileen set down her purse, switched her shoes, washed her hands, and then lifted Gabriela, spending some time playing with her.
