Chapter 479:
The sensation was delightful. She savored the feeling, enjoying the firm muscle beneath her fingersâit was irresistibly good.
âDonât touch me!â Bryan warned, his voice carrying a teasing edge. âAre you trying to charm me?â
His discipline was firm, a solid wall against her playful advances.
Eileenâs rebellious spirit flared. She pushed Bryan down, her hands firmly pressing against his chest as she pinned him beneath her. âWhat do you mean? Donât you find me attractive?â
Bryanâs expression remained neutral as he turned his gaze away.
However, the soft brush of Eileenâs hair against his chest stirred something within him.
âI can handle this,â Bryan muttered under his breath.
âReally?â Eileen raised an eyebrow, her lips glistening slightly as she licked them, intensifying her allure.
If Bryan truly resisted her, it would mean she had no sway over him.
Usually, Eileen played a more reserved role in their affectionate exchanges. Yet, when she let her teasing side show, Bryan often found himself at a disadvantage.
Eileen continued to tease, but didnât push further. With a sharp breath, Bryan finally couldnât bear it any longer.
In a swift movement, he caught Eileenâs roaming hand, lifted her effortlessly, and carried her into the bathroom.
The abrupt action left Eileen momentarily stunned, her mind hazy as the room spun around her.

Eileen paused before replying, âWell⦠you were the one who said I couldnât charm you. I was just trying to cheer you up, since you seemed upset.â
Bryan clenched his teeth. âAre you finding this amusing?â
Eileen shook her head, sensing his genuine discomfort.
âIâll run some cold water for you and grab an ice-cold drink from the fridge in a bit,â she suggested, stepping out of the bathroom to give him space to calm down.
Twenty minutes later, Bryan was still visibly affected.
When he finally emerged from the bathroom, he found the drinks Eileen had taken from the fridge, now buried under a pile of ice on the bedside table. Gabriela was positioned in the middle of the bed, acting as a buffer, and Eileen had already dozed off.
In the middle-upper-class neighborhood where Huey and Bailee lived, the streets were alive with early risers.
Bailee hadnât been in the area for long, but she had quickly gotten to know the residents. It was 9 p.m. when she returned home from the restaurant by taxi.
