Chapter 819:
Eileen pulled up at the villaâs gate, letting Dolores out. She watched as Dolores approached the door, knocking, but no one answered.
With hesitation, Eileen stepped out of the car and marched over. She rapped sharply on the door. âKinsey, open up!â
Within seconds, the door creaked open.
Kinseyâs eyes narrowed in displeasure as he looked at Eileen. It was clear he was silently accusing her of meddling in his affairs by bringing Dolores back from the Vazquez Mansion.
âRegardless of whatâs going on between you two, abandoning her is too much. Sheâs your wife, Kinsey. You canât use her when you want and discard her when sheâs not of use to you, like sheâs only a tool. Thatâs the kind of thing only a real lowlife would do,â Eileenâs words came out sharp.
Whenever Kinsey and Dolores were together, Eileen could always see the disdain etched in Kinseyâs features. It was clearly directed at Dolores.
âYour advice is duly noted, Eileen,â Kinsey responded, his tone as flat as his expression, as he stepped back to let Dolores in.
âCome inside.â
Dolores shot Eileen a grateful glance before heading inside. She changed her shoes and directly headed upstairs.
In truth, Dolores wasnât overly concerned with how Kinsey treated her. All she wanted was to live as comfortably as she could under his roof and ensure her child was well cared for. Still, she appreciated Eileenâs support.

Gabriela then opened her arms wide, rushing toward Eileen. Gabrielaâs actions tugged at Eileenâs heartstrings. The sight spurred Eileen into action: she quickly approached Gabriela. She scooped Gabriela up.
Planting a tender kiss on her cheek, Bryan guided Gabriela back inside, holding her while talking to her. Gabriela didnât drift off to sleep until the clock was nearing midnight.
After a busy day, Eileen was tired. After tucking Gabriela in, she turned, linking her arm with Bryanâs as she settled into bed, eager to sleep.
But Bryan gave her a teasing pinch, making her frown in confusion. âWhat are you doing?â
âWe need to talk.â Bryan lay on his side, propping his head up with one hand, his gaze resting on her.
âSo, youâve met a lot of suitors today, huh? Those younger guys look pretty good.â
Eileenâs lips twitched. âWho told you that?â
âI not only know that, but I also have a photo.â Bryan fished his phone out, showing her the photo.
Eileen couldnât remember if the guy in the photo was younger or older than her. She had had that expression in the photo because Leyla had dismissed the guy for reasons that were anything but ordinary.
But the photo seemed to paint a different story, as if she had been on the verge of agreeing before Leyla stepped in.
