As soon as the three of them entered the hospital canteen, they saw Gianna, who looked striking in her vibrant outfit, wearing a bright smile.

Eileen responded, “I was taking photos of the meatballs on that gentleman’s plate. I was just taking photos of them, not you.”

Jessica was momentarily stunned by Eileen’s response. When Jessica fell silent, Gianna walked over and eyed Eileen warily. “What are you planning to do with these photos? Do you think you can take us to court by taking pictures? This is ridiculous!”

Eileen put her phone away and said, “It might be time for a court case now, but it is definitely time for a meal.”

“What are you talking about?” Gianna said, grabbing Jessica’s arm and pulling her to leave. Jessica had something to say, but Gianna asked her to stay silent. Jessica freed herself from Gianna’s grip and hurried out of the hospital.

Once they found a quiet spot to eat, Eileen handed her phone to Bryan and said, “Send these photos to the media.” Bryan took the phone, quickly handled the task, and then handed it back to Eileen.

“What are they up to now?” Dalores asked. She had met Gianna before. Despite Gianna’s outwardly friendly demeanor, her words often had a hidden edge. In contrast, Jessica always seemed naïve and direct. When Gianna and Jessica had seen Dalores sitting with Eileen, both had looked surprised.

Eileen sighed and said, “With the VQ Group being so profitable, it’s not surprising that they’re reluctant to give up control after benefiting from it for so long.”

The issue seemed nearly impossible now.

To make matters worse, the involvement of the Aston family had only added to the complexity. The worst-case scenario—the Aston family would become a mess because of this.

“I’m really sorry for bothering you when you have so much to deal with,” Dalores said, lowering her head. Eileen placed a chicken drumstick onto Dalores’ plate and said, “Help is just a small part of what you’re dealing with. Your biggest challenge is taking care of yourself and staying strong. If you can take care of yourself well, I won’t be too worried.”

“I’ll do my best,” Dalores promised. She then continued to eat.

After dinner, Dalores gathered her strength and prepared to shoot the final part of the online class.

Later, back at home, Eileen and Bryan lounged on the sofa, playing with their daughter. Eileen kept checking her phone every so often.
