Naina's POV
I saw Veer, grilling in anger when Nakul kissed my hand. Serves him right.
I entered the premises with him clenching my hand tightly...almost crushing. He needs to calm down.
Honestly... I am a bit scared now. He always looses his senses in rage, last time I lost my job and got married.
I have no idea what this time would lead too.
"You should loosen your grip a little. My hand is hurting." I whispered in his ear tip toeing to reach it.
Perks of being short!
He glanced at me, I noticed that I was standing too close that our nose was almost touching.
His eyes were showing concern now, anger faded. Didn't knew that my effect on him would change him drastically.
For a moment I skipped my beat, maybe I was overreacting in the car. I should give him a chance...maybe.
"Sorry." He lowered his vision and left my hand instantly.
We started walking again till the board room, receiving greetings from the staff. They all lowered their eyes and bowed a little in front of Veer and left his way.
Indeed he is scary. I caught Nakul ogling me and so did Veer.
Nakul seems good...but why does Veer gets angry even with his presence. His height and physic is alike Veer, but he doesn't has the charismatic personality like Veer.
After all, Karanveer is just the only one sample on this planet.
He grabbed my waist tightly in possession and took me aside.
He stuck me on the wall lightly placing both his hands on my waist tightly, trapping me from leaving him.
He leaned closer , with every single moment my heart was pacing speed. What is he going to do now?
Kiss me again?
My breathing got faster when he kissed my earlobe.
"Listen to me very carefully..." he started in his husky voice.
How could I listen carefully when you are distracting me like this?
"Stay away from that Nakul. He is my first cousin, but he is just hungry for power. You won't get to know when he used you...."
His eyes were stuck on my lips and his thumb was rubbing my jawline.
"And I won't risk what's mine..."
Before I could push him he grabbed my neck and crashed my lips roughly.
His pelvis blocked my legs from falling on the ground. I felt his manhood between my legs.
God...he is so desperate for me!
He left my lips, leaving me breathing hard. One day he is going to give me an Asthma attack !
"Why...did you..do that?"
"Coz..I wanted ..too!"
He gave me the answer mocking my tone!
I grabbed him by his collar and pulled him closer. He was amazed by my act.
I started rubbing his lips with my thumb. His eyes were sparkling in desire that I'll kiss him.
"Do you want more?"
"There was my lipstick on your lips."
I pushed him and he saw me in horror as if I slapped him hard.
I started laughing watching him like this and walked away.
I heard him groaning a bit, but I don't care.
I entered the board room and saw Deepak there talking to other elderly members. He saw me and walked towards me with both hands open for a hug.
"Hey Naina!"
"Hi Deepak!"
We hugged and started to talk. I don't know why, bit he seems a lot... familiar, like I know him from long time.
"So, nervous for the first meeting?"
"Kinda... I'll guess they'll go easy on me."
I pointed towards the other members. I didn't talked to him about Shreya or anything like that, it's sore topic for him right now.
"No one is going easy today. You don't know what happens when both Karan and Nakul enter this room without their fathers."
He said dramatically. What does he even mean. Now I know they both don't like each other, but they really want to kill each other?
"I didn't understand..."
"Get ready for this meeting. This room is nothing but a battlefield for both of them. Be prepared."
He walked away and sat at the end of the table leaving me in deep confusion.
Karanveer's POV
Why can't she reciprocate my feelings? And how dare that bastard look my Naina!
If I didn't kissed her, I would've lose my calm. Which is definitely gonna happen in this meeting.
I liked when she wiped my lips. I seriously thought that she was going to kiss me...but she just teased me.
So cute.
I entered the room and sat beside my Naina , the meeting commenced.
Deepak stood up and started.
"Gentlemen, I would like to introduce our newest member, and the new IT head, Mrs Naina Sharma Sanghi."
"Greetings everyone." My girl stood up and took a bow. She was so confident and positive that each member acknowledged her with a warm smile, except this jerk.
That's my queen.
"Welcome bhabhi! Are you pregnant?"
What the fuck just this bastard said?
"Pardon, Nakul?" She asked in confusion.
"Well I didn't know that my brother is so desperate to claim CEO position from my father that he married hastily."
Is he out of his mind? I know it is one of his tricks to drive Naina apart from me. But it made me stunned when Naina looked at me in disbelief.
I know we have some heated argument, but she doesn't trusts me? Nakul you're dead today.
"Well you don't know the succession rules Naina bhabhi? Besides I know Karanveer's reputation for girls."
"Don't you dare say any word for my wife Nakul. I don't want to do something that I regret later!"
I was fuming now. How dare he called my Naina a whore? I am going to kill him today.
We both stood up in rage and Naina was watching us in disbelief.
I am sorry Naina, but this is what board meeting means to us!
If this table was not between us, I would have kicked him right now.
"Well doesn't matter, your choice is justified to us. Look at her, does she appears to be a decent woman? Surely she is nothing but one of your one night stands!"
"Nakul watch your tongue!"
"Enough both of you!" Naina screamed so loud that her voice was echoing in the whole room, followed by complete silence.
I saw her face. She is very angry, so much that she could probably kill each and every person in this room.
Even Deepak, Nakul and all the members were terrified to see her this side.
She started to march towards Nakul with bloodshot angry eyes that if I tried to stop her, she'll burn me to hell.
Well I actually don't want to stop her now.
"Who the hell gave this permission to give a me character certificate when you yourself can't respect this position of yours."
She wasn't loud, but her vibes gave me chills.
"I..I "
Nakul was stammering now and was scared like he saw a witch or something. I have never seen him like this before. Even Deepak was trembling in fear too.
"If you can't respect any women, you have no rights on your shares or on your birth status. You're nothing but a bloody powerless coward who is so intimidated by a new member, that he can't compete with her, that's why he is calling her a slut because he himself doesn't have fucking balls to claim the position. "
Did she just said that? I think she went a bit overboard, but he deserves it.
Now kill him Naina!
"You've no idea what I could do with you.."
She grabbed him by neck and hit it on the table... breaking his nose, now covered in red blood.
I can't believe she can become so emotionless. But I think I should stop her now.
She grabbed his collar and started.
"Now you listen to me Nakul Sanghi. You've no idea what I can do when I loose my calm. This is just the beginning, more meetings our also coming my sweet devar ji. Embrace yourself for it"
She pushed him hard that he fell on his chair. He was looking sacred bit his bleeding nose gave me satisfaction.
"And everyone in this room, I am sorry for my behavior. But next time if this meeting is converted into a war zone, I'll pass a motion to get them out of the board. Either if it is my devar or my husband. Coz now I am an active board member too."
She signaled me to take her out of here, she knows she out of control now.
"Prepare yourself Karanveer...she is also going to leave you, just like your mother did!"
Nakul went out smirking leaving my wounds open again.
