“You can go back now. I’ll attend the company’s anniversary celebration tonight,” Xavier said in

annoyance.

“Alright.” After Daphne left the breakfast there, she shot Yvette a satisfied glance and left.

As Xavier had expected, he saw Yvette standing behind him when he turned around. For some reason, he instinctively felt a little guilty. “When did you wake up?”

An unfamiliar number had called the number she used abroad. The call had originated in Tirion. Instead of calling back, Yvette asked someone to check who the caller’s number belonged to.

Daphne sounded really nice throughout the call. If she had known that Cameron was actually Yvette, she probably wouldn’t have acted like that.

“If you want me to drop the charges, it’s simple. First, apologize to my lawyer. Then, publicly admit that you’ve copied my work,” Yvette said calmly.

“I can apologize, but I can’t admit to that in public. Let me know how much money you want, and I’ll give it to you. Will that be alright?”

Daphne knew that if she admitted it to the public, her career in the entertainment industry would be

over.

“In that case, be prepared for a lawsuit.” Yvette hung up the call right after that. She knew what Daphne was like, and there was no point in wasting her breath on a person like that.
