Chapter 332
Noah Lander?
Zachary was confused at first, but he quickly realized they had mistaken him for his younger brother. As for the surname, Zachary figured Noah might have used Claudeâs name to fool others.
Zachary knew who Mark was. Mark was one of Xavierâs men, so he probably was not a good person. He must have given Yvette hell before!
âWhy are you grabbing me?â Zachary asked calmly, looking at Mark.
Mark was puzzled. Why wasnât Noah buttering up to others like he used to? Before, he would cry at the drop of a hat.
Despite that, Mark didnât dwell on it. He took Zachary from the bodyguard. âMr. Lane wants to see you.
Hearing that Xavier wanted to see him, Zachary stopped resisting and let Mark carry him to the car. He was curious about why Xavier had left Sangine County and was now outside Yandell Mansion.
Was he tracking Yvette? The thought sent a chill down Zacharyâs spine.
What an evil man Xavier was!
The cold air from outside rushed into the car, where Xavier was waiting. Although he couldnât see, he/ had heard the commotion.
Mark said, âMr. Lane, Iâve brought him.â
Now seated in the car, Zachary studied Xavier intently. Was Xavier really blind? He decided to test it.
âWhy did you bring me here? Are you planning to use me to threaten Mom again?â
Xavier didnât answer him but instead instructed Mark, âTake him back to Sangine County.â
Hearing this, Zachary immediately protested. âIâm not going back to Sangine County. Let me go!â
If he went back to Sangine County, it would put Yvette in a difficult position. After all, she hadnât told Zachary about Xavier; how would she explain their relationship to him?
Xavierâs dark eyes seemed to fix on him. âThatâs not up for you to decide. If you refuse to go, Iâll have someone kill you now.â
The manâs imposing presence immediately silenced Zachary. Despite Xavierâs blindness and amnesia, he was still a dangerous man.
Zachary mustered his courage, steadied his nerves, and said coldly, âAll you can do is threaten a child. When I grow up, Iâll make sure to kill you first.â
Mark, who was outside the car, was stunned by Zacharyâs words and quickly carried him away.
He couldnât help but notice how much Zachary resembled Xavier, not just in appearance but in demeanor as well. They looked especially similar when he had threatened to kill Xavier once he grew

Mark brushed aside his strange thoughts as he got into another car. After all, he had personally taken care of the DNA test, which had confirmed that the boy wasnât Xavierâs son.
Back in the Maybach, Xavierâs expression remained unchanged. Shortly after, people came out of the mansion, and the bodyguard informed him that Yvette and Ray had left in a car.
Inside Yandell Mansion, Terrence was struggling and being supported by others. He stumbled outside and yelled, âSend the footage to the police. I want those two dead!â
Terrence was no longer the child who would submit after a beating. Now, he only feared those with more power and authority than him.
As for Ray, he was just a thug; Terrence believed that with more men, he could overpower him some day.
As Terrence schemed, the Maybach rolled up beside him. The window lowered, revealing Xavierâs stern side profile.
âWho do you want dead?â Xavier asked.
Terrence froze upon seeing him. âMr. Lane⦠IâI was just joking.â
âIf Yvvy faces even the most minor inconvenience, Iâll have your head fed to the dogs,â Xavier warned nonchalantly.
