Xavier’s heart skipped a beat, and he nodded. “Yeah.”

After hearing a confirmation, she couldn’t help asking again, “Do you really like me?”

“Yes,” he answered without a second thought. Xavier had never admitted that he liked her before he’d lost his memories.
