Hearing Carlaâs voice Aakesh stopped in his steps. He then put Clara down on the ground that he had just cleared, using another one of his Apocalyptic Blast.
Carla stayed frozen for a few seconds, and then finally, movement happened as her left eagle claws moved.
Time flew by.
Carla finally opened her eyes after losing consciousness for a span of days.
Carla hurriedly looked around her after opening her eyes, searching for Aakesh. When she found Aakesh not far from her, blasting the snow spread around, she heaved a sigh of relief.
She then focused on the environment around her, only to find that she had no idea whether they had moved or not since everything was engulfed in snow as far as she could see.
She also had no idea how much time had passed when she was unconscious.
Carla had a fresh look on her face despite just regaining her consciousness. In the last decades, she traveled with Aakesh; the most work she did was travel over territories, which wasnât much effort taking for her, but since Aakesh never rested, this situation continued for years, resulting in Carla becoming mentally as well as physically tired.
The situation took a turn for the worse in this territory as the cold affected her, making her grow even more tired. And then finally, she lost consciousness as her body gave up and refused to stand awake, which in turn proved to be a godsent opportunity for her as her body got the desired rest, and now she was back in her perfect shape.
Carla then stood up and proceeded toward Aakesh.
âThank you, senior, for not leaving me on my own,â Carla bowed and sincerely thanked Aakesh.
Aakesh didnât speak anything but only expressionlessly nodded.
âSenior, for how long was I unconscious?â Carla asked with embarrassment clearly evident in her voice.
âThree days,â Aakesh expressionlessly responded. âSince youâre awake now, letâs go,â He further added.
Without waiting for Carlaâs experience, Aakesh took a step forward as the area he had cleared a few moments earlier was getting filled with the snow again.
âYes, senior,â Carla spoke and then started following Aakesh.
One second passed, two seconds passed,⦠fifteen seconds passed,⦠and just like that, fifty-three seconds had passed when suddenly Aakesh stopped in his steps.
âTHUD!â
A loud crashing sound rang in the area as out of nowhere, a giant creature spanning over millions of miles appeared.
The creature had landed tens of thousands of miles away from Aakesh, but due to its giant size, Aakesh felt it to be just in front of him.
A surprised expression appeared on Aakeshâs face, recognizing the creature. It was none other than the Epochal Feline, a race the system told him had gone extinct and also the race Lily belonged to.
For a moment, Aakesh thought of the newly emerged creature to be the ruler as the Epochal Feline had teleported, but Aakesh didnât have to think for long since he got his answer the next moment.
[Host, Lily is with the feline!]
A sudden system alert rang inside Aakeshâs head as the system informed him of Lilyâs presence.
The surprised expression of Aakesh turned into a shock, and soon it turned into jubilation. An astonished expression appeared on Carlaâs face as she witnessed the sudden change of expressions on Aakeshâs face.
In the last few decades she traveled with Aakesh, she had never seen a single expression on Aakeshâs face, but just in the span of a second, she witnessed three.

âAncestor, I think I found the person youâre looking for,â Autumn informed Lily as Autumn noticed two tiny figures some distance away from her. Out of the two, one had the same appearance as the man Lily was looking for.
âWHERE?â Lily couldnât control her excitement, and her voice turned out to be louder than she wanted.
Due to the restrictions on Lily, she couldnât see where Aakesh was. Aakesh could only see Autumn due to her giant size. If Autumn were even of the same size as him, Aakesh wouldâve failed to notice her.
The next moment, Autumn started contracting in size and stopped when her size reached the same size as Aakesh. Lily still comfortably sat on her back, and Autumn teleported in the direction of Aakesh.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

After the systemâs alert, Aakesh looked toward the Epochal Feline with jubilation, but suddenly the feline disappeared from his eyes.
For a moment, he thought that the feline had left, and he was going to order the system to inform Lily about him, but he didnât have to as the next moment, the feline appeared in front of him, with Lily riding on the felineâs back.
Aakesh couldnât help but shake his head as he had stopped thinking logically, hearing that Lily was here.
âAAKESH!â
The next moment, a childlike shout rang in the area as Lily jumped from Autumnâs back onto the Aakeshâs head.
âCRY!â
âCRY!â
âCRY!â
The next moment, Lily started crying as meeting Aakesh after staying far from him for so many years broke her emotional wall, resulting in a wail.
A gentle smile spread across Aakeshâs face as he gently picked Lily up from his head and held her in his embrace as she continuously cried.
Aakesh didnât speak anything and let Lily cry her heart out. Autumn wanted to say something, seeing her ancestor crying, but Aakesh gestured her not to.
Carla silently watched this happening as she wasnât aware of both creaturesâ identities.
âAak⦠Aakesh, do you⦠you even know how much⦠much I⦠I missed you?â Lily asked as tears still streamed down her tiny cheeks.
âYes, I know. How can a daughter not miss her father?â Aakesh smilingly answered and then joked to lighten Lilyâs mood.
Aakesh expected a reaction from Lily after he called her as his daughter like usual, but nothing of such sort happened. Hearing Aakeshâs response, Lily clutched his chest even tighter and rubbed her tiny head on it.
Clara heaved a sigh of relief, hearing Aakeshâs response. She knew that Aakesh had no interest in her, but knowing that he had no interest in others made her feel better.
Autumn didnât move her eyes away from Aakesh for even a moment as she wanted to know what made Aakesh so important in Lilyâs life.
