“She threw me out of her office, who does she think she is!” Lina burst angrily as she made her way into the pack house her b*dy vibrating in anger.

“I have had enough of Rachel Anderson treating me like a complete garbage I will show that woman her place” She said in anger as she threw her bag on the bed.

The fact that Xavier chose to cheat on her was a bitter pill to swallow at that point.

“What is going on?” Aunt Maggie asked as she walked into the room, she saw Lina walk into the house furiously and followed her out of curiosity.

“Your nephew is cheating on me, that is what is going on. The fact that he could stoop so low to choose the woman who hurt me recently breaks me even more” she said and Maggie sighed softly.

“You really need to take things slow Lina, getting angry and fighting with him will do nothing but draw him even close to the other woman Aunt Maggie adviced as she Pat on Lina’s shoulders lightly.

“At this point, I don’t even care you of all people should know the things I’ve done to keep this man…….” Lina trailed sadly.

“Come here honey” Maggie said pulling her into a hug as she whispered something in Lina’s ears softly.

“You think so?” Lina asked smirking.

“I know so dear” Maggie said smirking.

“What is going on?” Xavier asked immediately he made his way into the room his eyes. moved from the sulking Lina to his aunt.

“Everything is wrong Xavier !” Lina burst angrily.

“I should give you guys space to talk Aunt Maggie said and walked out of the room.

“You saw the news Xavier said camly.

“Yes I saw the news is that all you have to say Xavier?” Lina asked frowning.

“I did not do anything wrong Lina you should have asked me what happened before

“I do not blame you for anything Lina, but if Rachel had asked her security to throw you out, her actions would have been justified considering the fact that you went to her company to cause a scene” he said and Lina screamed angrily.

“My husband was going out with another woman, having romantic dates and all of that I have every right to be angry you are hurting me Xavier……” she trailed emotionally.

“I don’t know what you want from me Lina, you wanted to be the Luna of the pack and I have given you that position, why do you think I want to entertain this possessive side of yours?” he asked and she stared at him in disbelief.

“I have a lot going on in my life right now I am not ready to put up with unecessary drama. We keep losing people in the pack and the cause of their death is still a mystery right now, doesn’t that bother you one bit ?” Xavier asked and she looked away in anger.

“So what should I do? spend my day crying over spilled milk!” she said and Xavier. looked away.

“Of cause you can’t spend your day crying over spilled milk when it concerns the affairs of the pack, but when it is matters concern me your eyes are an ocean of tears ready to rain” he said and her eyes flashed with hurt.

“Xavier” she called as walked out of the room angrily.

“St upid, arrogant b astard” she cursed under her breath.

“I am going to make sure everything falls into pleasant places for me, you can’t ruin what I worked hard for Rachel I will do anything even if it means getting you out of the way” she said smirking.

The Next morning Lina walked over to Derrick’s room with a frown on her face.

“Derrick !” she shouted angrily as her eyes sized the little minion on the bed.

How much she hated the kid with every fiber in her b*dy. It was as if the presence of the boy was a painful reminder that Emerald still had a part of Xavier that she did not have and would probably never have.

The moon goddess had refused to bless her union with the Alpha she have also gone to different hospitals she was told that nothing was wrong with her, Xavier wasn’t even the problem because he had two sons with his ex.

“Good morning Aunt Lina” Derrick said nervously as he fixed his glasses Lina walked over to him and pushed him on the head.

“How many times have I tell you not to call me your aunt you little wench” she bursted angrily as she pushed his face.

“I’m so sorry Aunt…I mean Ma’am Lina ” he said in fear and she smirked. This was exactly the way she wanted him to be scared and quiet just like his stu pid mother who spent her days in the pack house as an innocent foolish and vulnerable woman.

“You dare call me ma’am in the presence of your father and I will kill you afterwards” she said pointed her finger at him scaring the living day lights out of the five years old boy.

“What is the rule?” she asked and he stuttered out in fear.

“I’m not permitted to call you Aunt Lina when we are alone, I should call you Mum or Aunt lina in front of Daddy and the pack members” he said bowing his head and refusing to keep eye contact.

“Good boy”

“You have always been a smart kid” Lina said ruffling his head.

“And what have I always told you?” she asked bending to his level.

“No one is allowed to know about our conversations” Derrick said as he sniffed back the tears that threatened to escape his eyes, the little guy was frightened to death.

“Are you crying champ ?” Lina taunted as she held his face pushing it backwards.

“No ma’am Lina” he said immediately.

“Good, very good” she muttered under her breath with an evil grin on her face.

“What better way would I gain his attention Penny? Lina has no idea what her stu pidity was doing for me” I said as I sat down and crossed both legs.

“That is a good mood on your part, what is the next step?” She asked curiously.

“There is this charity event coming up, and trust me all the top billionaires in the business world would be present I am invited, Xavier is also invited. What better time would it be to confirm the suspiciouns of the media and cause more trouble?” I asked. and she laughed.

“You my friend, you are a devil in disguise” she said and I burst out laughing.

“Awwwwwwwwn, thanks for the compliment sweetheart” I said and she laughed.

“Oh please, I was not complimenting you” Penny said laughing.

“I take it as a compliment” I muttured under my breath as I scrolled through my phone.

“When is the event taking place??” Penny asked and I smirked.

“This weekend” I said smirking.

I knew I was playing a dangerous game, but I have lived my life for the past five years looking for the best opportunity to get my revenge from this people who hurt me. Xavier and his pack held me by the hand, lead me to trust them and then stabbed me in the back the wound of his betrayal and rejection still stings like it was just yesterday. His rejection broke a part of me I did not know existed, I don’t have time for romance or fleshly desire all I want is to see that man fall to the ground and beg for mercy not just for him, but for his worthless pack.

“Rachel” father called and I turned to see him standing by the door.

“In my office now” he said and I watched him walk infront.

I stopped by at Damien’s room on my way to my room and I peeped to see if the little guy was already asleep only to see him making a phone call with someone, his Nanny stood beside him watching him carefully with a smile on her face I got in and she bowed on respect.

“Excuse us Gina” I said and she bowed before leaving.

“Bye, see you in school tommorow” he said excitedly and ended the call.

“Hey mummy” he said smiling.

“Who was that?” I asked as I sat next to him on the bed.

“It was my friend” he said smiling.

“You seem to like this friend of yours a lot” I said and his eyes sparked in excitement.

“He is smart and he helps me study too, I don’t get into trouble in school anymore” he said and I chuckled at the last part Damien has always been notorious getting into fight was his thing. Well getting reports had reduced drastically ever since he began to move with his new found friend,
