“She hurt my son Jayden, you should know that is the last thing I’ll ever tolerate” I bursted angrily.

“I’m not asking you to forgive her immediately Alpha, putting an end to this marriage will ruin a lot of things considering the fact that she is the Luna of this pack” he said. and I looked away.

“I will not tolerate this nonsense Jayden, I just told you she hurt my son I don’t see why I should consider the pack above the welfare of my son. I will not take it !” I said and he sighed softly.

“I know you are doing this for the best interest of Derrick but what you should also think about is the fact that you are the Alpha of this prestigious pack…” Jayden trailed.

“You may leave Jayden” I said and he looked at me in shock.

“Alpha I was only trying to…” he said.

“Leave” I said and he bowed before making his way out of my chamber.

I don’t wanna see Lina anywhere near my chambers or my son, and stripping her off her duties as Luna of the pack is going to be the next on my list.

Things might have gone wrong between Emerald and 1, but I will never let anyone mistreat and abuse our son.

My phone pinged with a text and I smiled softly.

“Call me it read and I called her.

“Hey” I said I’mmediately she picked up.

“I was mad at you Xaiver, amd expect you to apologise how can you be so comfortable” she asked and I chuckled.

“You are laughing” she said and I bit my lower l*p.

I’m not laughing my love” I said softly.

“Thanks for forgiving me sweetheart” I said and she fell silent on the other end.

“Why does it feel like you are teasing me?” she asked and I chuckled.

“Fine” she said and I smiled.

“I can imagine how beautiful you look right now with a frown lying on your pretty face” I said and she laughed.

“Let’s meet up tonight” I said and she gasped.

“Tonight? I have no plans of leaving my house Xavier it’s late” she said and I smiled.

“I’ll pick you up and even drop you off myself” I said and she fell silent on the other end.

“Please…” I trailed.

“Don’t act cute with me yohy sweet talker” she said and we both chuckled.

“Send me your address” I said and she hung up on me.

I stared at my phone in shock and it wasn’t long before it pinged with a message from Rachel.

Walking towards my wardrobe, I decided to get ready for my night outing with Rachel. Changing into a sweatshirt and pants, I picked my car keys and made my way out of my chambers.

“Mira” I called one of the ser vants standing outside.

“Alpha” she said in respect as she bowed.

“Go over to Derricks room, I want you to spend the night with him and resume post as his new caregiver” I said and she bowed in respect.

“Noted Alpha” she said and I made my way out of the pack house.

I noticed Lina’s car leave the compound, I stared at it curiously before shaking my head. I’m pretty sure she’s sleeping out tonight due to the nonsense she did.

Lina crossed her limits the minute she lay her filthy hands on my son, our marriage has always been a union of convenience I see no reasons why she would feel the need to hurt my son.

Getting inside my car one of my driver’s rushed towards me.

“Alpha let me drive” he said and I bolt the door at his face, if I wanted him to drive I would have requested for his services I don’t know why some people don’t understand s hit.

Taking deep breaths in and out to calm my nerves I drove towards her house, it took me about half an hour to get to her hous

“I’m in front of your house” I texted her and she sent me shocked emojis.

“Did you disappear? because I don’t understand how you managed to get here so fast” she texted back and I burst out laughing.

This woman is so interesting.

“Come out Baby girl” I sent and dropped my phone at the other seat. It wasn’t long before I sighted her walking towards my car.

“Hey…” she said blushing.

“For a moment I thought you stood me up” I said and she raised her eyebrows.

“I don’t disappoint people up, it is not in my character” she said and I laughed.

“I should be the judge Rachel” I said and she raised her eyebrows.

“One word if it is not in my favor, I will go back home” she said and I burst out laughing.

“Please your highness, don’t leave” I said pouting cutely.

“Don’t give me those puppy eyes, just start driving” she said and I chuckled as I stepped on the gas and headed towards one of my penthouses.

I planned on making it a romantic dinner, but I guess things didn’t go as planned every moment with Rachel is after all precious.

“This place is beautiful” she said as we walked in together, I noticed she was clad in a sweatshirt and shorts which she paired with fluffy room sl*ppers.

“It is one of my babies” I said and she turned to me.

“My Dad owns a few of these two, I don’t really fancy buying buildings I won’t live in it. is not my thing” Slshe said and I smiled.

“Your father can relate better” I said and her jaws literally dropped.

“I guess so” she said as I opened the door for her.

“I thought this was a date? when will you learn to be romantic Xavier” I heard her beautiful voice and chuckled.

“This date was unplanned, I missed you way too much and wanted to be with you that is why I was unable to prepare for it” I said and she chuckled.

“He always had words to back what I have to say” she said rolling her eyes.

This habit of rolling your eyes will get you in trouble one day” I said and she laughed as I hugged her from behind.

“So have you had dinner?” I asked and she shook her head.

“You ruined dinner time with family Xavier” she said and I smiled.

“I’m glad you could make it” I said and she fold both hands against her chest.

“That doesn’t mean I’m going to starve” she said and I gestured towards my kitchen.

“No” she said immediately.

“I thought you said you are wife material ?” I asked teasingly.

“Are you trying to make me eat my words?” she asked with eyebrows raised.

“Whatever you think it is” I said and watched her make her way towards

Watching Rachel make her way around the kitchen was one of the most beautiful moments of my life.

“Why?” I asked teasingly.

“I can’t concentrate, not when you have those eyes on me she said and I smirked.

“Ohhhhhh” I said teasingly.

“Fine, you can continue with whatever you’re doing I won’t stare at you” I said and she laughed.

“Do you think this is funny Lina? I worked day and night to make sure Xavier trusts me as his beta and you go out of your way just like the stu pid idiot that you are to ruin what I have built for years” Jayden bursted angrily.

“One mistake Jayden, it is just one mistake I did not kill anyone” Lina said as her eyes stung with unshed tears.

“That one mistake cost us our game Lina don’t you understand that!” Jayden fired angrily.

“Do we really need this pack Jayden? I just wanna be happy and start our own family this thing is beginning to scare me” Lina said as she cried.

“It should scare you, because you crossed the line the minute you hit Xavier’s son” Jayden bursted angrily and she flinched

“You of all people should know what Carlos did to you he fvcking raped and molested you Lina, I gave you hope, I helped you get over the depression, you owe me your da mn life! Jayden bursted angrily and she cried.

“We already ended his life, Emerald paid for a crime she did not commit. What more d paid for a crime she did not commit. What more do we have to do to make this game come to an end” Lina asked as tears rolled out of

her eyes.

“Don’t tempt me Lina, you can’t leave this game now we have come too far to back out now. it is either you are IN or IN” Jayden said and she hugged herself close as she cried.

“Take of your clothes and get on the bed, I need some release I will be coming back after I get a quick smoke” Jayden said as he picked a pack of cigarettes and walked towards the balcony and lit it up..

With each drag and puff out of smoke he felt anger build in the pit of his stomach. How dare Xavier send him out of his chamber, the chamber that was supposed to be his.

He hated playing the perfect best friend when all he wanted to do was burn him alive.

Xavier and his father took everything away from him including his happiness. He is going to make sure Ling comes back into Xavier’s life they needed all the help they could get and he wasn’t about to risk it all.

Punching the wall angrily, he growled in frustration.

“I must go through with my plans Xavier, no matter what happens” he said and took another drag of his ciggarrate. Lina was going to be punished severely for messing up with his plans.

That she wolf thinks she’s too special, how wrong of her to believe she had a place in his heart, a heart he had lost after going through tough times.

Right now he had no single care for anyone, not even his own life. The mission was to destroy Xavier and take over his parents park as Alpha Jayden of the blood moon pack.
