“Watching you make breakfast is just so cute” Xavier said as we walked out of the kitchen together.

“I’m not used to you acting this way, am still shocked” I said and he burst out laughing.

“I’m going to continue acting this way until you listen to me and agree to be my girlfriend” Xavier said and I pushed his face away softly.

“Hope you don’t go about saying that to all the girls you woo” I said and he chuckled.

“Only for you babe” he said and pecked my cheeks.

“Go get the kids down here” I said and he chuckled as he made his way up the stairs..

I took a deep breath in and out and started making plans on how to get home on time, I wonder what’s up with Penny and if father is mad at me for spending the night at Xavier’s place.

“Mummy!” I heard Damien’s excited voice and turned just to see him running into my arms for a hug followed by his brother Derrick.

“Good morning mummy” he said grinning from ear to ear.

“Good morning Rachel” Derrick said and I smiled at him.

“This way little guys, I made breakfast” I said leading them towards the dinner table.

“You are underestimating what I am capable of” he said and I ignored him as I started eating, he decided to focus on his food too.

Aunt Maggie walked into the dinning table looking really tired and she looked like she just woke up.

“Good morning ma’am, are you okay?” I asked with concern.

“I’m fine, I just hurt my foot pretty bad” she said and for some reason what she said. didn’t add up.

I hope she was not involved in any form of trouble.

“Since when did you hurt yourself this bad? have you paid a visit to the pack doctor?” Xavier asked subconsciously as he walked over to her and bent down to check the sprained ankle.

“Ouch.” she cried in pain.

“Sorry Gran” Derrick said and she smiled in his direction.

After breakfast Xavier left the table with her, I think he decided to take her to the pack. doctor by himself, he came back after spending about 45 minutes.

“How is your aunt doing?” I asked and he looked at me in suprise.

“How did you know she is my aunt?” he asked and I looked at him calmly trying to find the perfect answer.

“She told me she is your mother’s sister and that makes her your aunt. Besides, her aunt Maggie any smart person will put the dots together” I said and he laughed.

“I think so” he said and sighed.

“Aunt Maggie is a good woman, this is the first time she is getting into such accident within this house. It is supirising since we don’t expose her to add labour” he said and I forced a smile.

“She is going to be okay” I said rubbing his back.

“Derrick and I will have to leave soon, I have some important things to take care of” I said and he pulled me into his arms as he hugged me from behind.

“But I’m going to miss you” he said and I chuckled.

“Stop whining like a kid, I have work to do. Are you driving us home personally or I should get my driver?” I asked and he pecked my checks..

“I will do the honour of driving the both of you back home” he said and I smiled.

“How about you join me to a charity event on Friday night?” he asked and I fold my hands against my chest.

“Friday night?” I asked and he smiled.

“Why do you like to answer my questions with questions?” he asked and I bit my lower l*p.

“It is because you have a wife and you want to take someone else to a charity event, what would people say?” I asked and he sighed.

“Rachel people will always talk, no one can find happiness by thinking about what other people have say” he said and I chuckled.

“See him trying to convince me into being his date” I said teasingly as I laughed.

“Is that a yes?” he asked playfully and I laughed.

“Yes!” he exclaimed excitedly.

“C’mon kids” he said and Damien walked over to us accompanied by Derrick.

The ride to my place was not a quiet one as the kids talked about random things while Xavier did the driving. I had a lot on my mind too, mainly on how to go o about everything happening in my life at the moment.

Two men who are part of little game were asking me out, Gabriel Fernandez my business partner the guy who wanted to be part of my revenge plan and there is Xavier Jason the man who broke me beyond repair, took my son and left me to die yet still managed to make my heart beat crazily.

I shut my eyes tight as a wave of confusion hit my mind.
