Pain, Anger and disgust was all I felt as we made our way back to the pack house Emerald rejected me, she chose to leave the pack forever I took long srides towards room in anger.

“I just can’t help but wonder who that man was to her Emerald has no one from the pack when we discovered we were mates she used to live with an old lady” I said. furiously.

“She left with a man? what if that was her lovers!” Lina said and I held the glass infront of me in anger until it broke to picece, the pieces of the glass pierced into my hands. injuring me in the process.

“Jeez, Xavier ! Lina raised her voice in shock.

“You are bleeding Xavier” she said holding my hand worriedly as we stared at the wound as it healed up immediately.

Werewolves had the tendency to heal immediately unlike humans, becen an Alpha I healed even faster than normal werewolves.

“Stop hurting yourself Xavier, I can’t bare to watch you break down like this it is eating me up” she said and I stared at her without a word.

“She rejected me Lina and I accepted her rejection, I thought it would hurt her, break. her or at least make her regret what she did to me and my pack but it didn’t make a difference to that ungrateful woman, that killer she f uckin rejected me and left my pack

“The rumours about Emerald leaving the pack is everywhere” he said calmly.

“why do you call them rumours when it is obvious she left the pack?” I asked in

annoyance.

“They are rumours until you give an official word to the pack everyone knew she was your mate before the whole rejection happened” he said and I looked away. Jayden used. to be so fond of her if only he knew she was nothing but a ruthless woman.

“Do you have any idea who that man was?” I asked and he stopped walking

“Which man?” he asked curiously.

“The man in the boat from last night, the one that took Emerald and the baby away I said and he gave me a thoughtful look

“I have no idea who that man is he muttered under his breath suddenly thinking about the man.

I got busy with pack duties and I could feel the emptiness in my chest Rolfe was mourning his mate quiet badly and I wonder why he thinks Emerald and Nala are same persons, Emerald is heartless.

“Did you get anything important information?” I asked Jayden immediately he walked into my chambers.

“I was unable to gather anything Alpha, no one knows the man not even the soldiers” he said and I hit the table infront of me in anger.

“I will get her and when I do, I will make her regret everything she ever did to me” I said. out of anger.

“Good morning Miss Anderson, you have a meeting with the clients from Australia by 11 am and an interview with V…” My personal assistant said as she tried to keep up with my pace while following me behind.

I walked towards my office clad in a black colored suit and pants five years, it has been five whole years since I left the werewolf realm, it have been five years since I built a name for myself as RACHEL ANDERSON. My father has always been supportive through out these years, he had me trained by the best of human teachers, he made me the strong woman I am today.

Getting up from my chair, I got a call from my dad.
