“Babe someone is here to see you” Penny said coming into my room and I turned to her.

“Who is it?” I asked as I continue typing on my laptop.

“Gabriel Fernandez” she said and I stopped what I was doing on my laptop and I turned towards her direction.

“Where is he?” I asked and she gestured downstairs.

“I’ll be right back” I said and walked downstairs.

“Hi mummy” Damien waved at me immediately I walked down stairs to see Mr Gabriel Fernandez.

“Hey sugar how are you?” I asked as I k*ssed his forehead.

“Fine mummy” he said and Penny gestured towards Damien to join her.

“Nice meeting you Mr Nice guy” he said and ran upstairs.

“I waited for you to call or at least just a text …” he trailed and I just stared at him with my hands folded against my chest.

“We had an agreement that you would be coming over” I said she sighed.

“I’m sorry Rachel” he said and my eyes softened in his direction.

“It should not repeat itself, I was embarrassed that night” I said and he gave a nod.

“I will make sure my emotions are in check” he said and I smiled.

“Thank you” I said as we walked out together.

“You have this manly smell all around you Rachel, I could sniff it from a distant” he said and I knew exactly what he was insinuating.

“We had S*x and before you lecture me it happened with my consent. I knew exactly what I was doing when I got engaged in such act” I said and he smiled sadly.

“I don’t have anything against whatever you decide to engage yourself in, after all you are entitled to your life” he said and I looked away.

“I gave you my word Gabriel, what do you want me to say when it’s quiet obvious that you don’t trust me?” she asked with a frown on her face.

“I don’t have anything else to say to you, I am too tired for this argument Fernandez I said and he gave a nod.

“Don’t think of turning your back on our agreement Rachel, Xavier’s ship is the sinking. ship, anyone who decides to get on that ship now will sink with it’s owner” he said. angrily and I watched silently as he walked out of my mansion in anger.

I ran my fingers into my hair anxiously. What have I gotten myself into? About an hour later, I received a text from a business partner I have been working with. One of my top projects I have been dealing with and we decided to meet up to talk business.

“I’m not going to stay long babe” I told Penny as I walked out of the mansion with my car keys while clad in a white dress and red heels.

I got into my Mercedes Benz and drove towards the address he send to me. A frown appeared on my face when I realized the place was a quiet place and it looked like a house which was surrounded by lots of trees. I brought out my phone from my sling bag I decided to give him a call, I tried it thrice and it went straight to voicemail.

“Why the hell did he invite me here?” I cursed under my breath and decided to just go back home.

I’ll give this man a piece of my mind when he eventually calls me back. I tried to walk. towards the direction of my car and stopped on my track when I sighted a huge wolf at front of my car.

My heart beat crazily against my chest and my l*ps quivered in hurt, trouble, am in deep trouble. I took some steps backwards in fear, immediately I turned backwards I discovered they were rouge wolves because I still had two others at my back.

“They are powerful Rachel, maybe we should just shift. Nala advised.

“What if this is a trap Nala ?” I asked and cursed under my breath when it finally clicked.

This Is definitely a trap because why would my business partner call me to a place like this and his line is suddenly not reachable.

“At this point we can only do one thing” Nala said and I took to my heels with the wolves hot on pursuit.

My leg hit a stone in the forest and I fell on the floor and cried in pain as I hurt my leg. with blood dripping out of the injury.

“Don’t you date come near me !” I screamed in anger as I tried to stand up.

There is no running back now, it’s either I defend myself or did not defending myself. I got up from the ground like a survivor and screamed in pain as I felt my bones. breaking, I glared at the wolves in anger as I shifted into my wolf form, something I have not done in five good years. Nala moved backwards as she fixed her eyes on her opponents angrily.

“Give up girl, this is not that office of yours where you act like the boss, this is our territory!” one of them said angrily.

“Get out of the way!” I said and one of them maid to attack me as we got into a very brutal fight.

They bit my skin and I bit their skin too, Nala had always been a strong she wolf she fought restlessly and I managed to rip off their hearts in the end. I went behind one of the trees and decided to give my best friend a call to come with clean clothes.

“This was definitely an attack by the enemies, I can’t believe they tried to kill you” Penny said in fear as she saw my current state.

“I should have been more careful” I said as blood dripped out of my forehead and arms.

“I’m so sorry this happened babe” Penny said as her eyes stung with tears.

“Hey it’s okay nothing bad is going to happen to me. I’m a stronger m version of myself, stronger than what most people see in the eyes” I said in determination.

“I’m not going to make anyone walk all over me this time around” I thought with a frown on my face.

“Does that mean she is a werewolf?” Lisa asked in shock, she could not wrap her head around the fact that Rachel is werewolf.

Why then did the woman hide it from Xavier ? everything is beginning to get suspicious. Who the f uck is Rachel and what game is the billionaire heiress playing on them?

“You ask st upid questions Lina, can a mere mortal rip the hearts of two werewolves?” he asked angrily.

“What exactly does she want from Xavier? what is her agenda? I don’t understand why a woman so wealthy and powerful is more interested in ruining our lives Jayden” Lisa said angrily.

“It’s either she wants something from Xavier or also has an eyes for what we want” Jayden said calmly.

“No…” Lina said crying this should not be one of those days when he would force. himself on her.

“Jayden please don’t…” she cried painfully as she watched him take off his belt.
