“Xavier gave you the divorce papers and you signed them? what were you thinking!” Jayden bursted angrily.

“I did not say I signed them, I refused to sign the papers without hearing from you at least” she said and he smiled victoriously.”

“Although, he threatened me, but I didn’t bulge” Lina said smiling.

“Thank goodness you did not sign it” he said and Lina sighed.

“What exactly are you planning because trust me, am tired of putting up with Xavier and his attitude” she said frowning.

“Baby we don’t have a choice but to put up with him, until we get what we want” he said. and she gave a nod.

“What are you planning?” she asked curiously.

“I think it is high time we give the pack a major attack” he said and she raised her eyebrows.

“The pack?” she asked with a confused expression on her face.

“Some elders already think he is incompetent to be the Alpha of Red moon pack, doing something more drastic would double their suspicion and his incapability to rule the pack” he said and she smiled.

“I believe I am dating a smart man” she said smiling,

“How about I show you how smart I can be” he said, as he raised her in his arms amd walk towards the bed.

Lina moaned in pleasure as they began their fun filled night.

Jayden’s phone rang while they were asleep, and he woke up immediately to check who

it was.

A frown appeared on his face, seeing it was Xavier. Why was the man calling him so late at night?” he wondered as he got down from the bed and towards the exit of the room.

“For five years….Five good years I waited patiently for you to get over Emerald Right when I thought we were understanding each other, Rachel came into the picture” she said why cleaning the tears that stream down her eyes.

“We have never been compatible and I told you before I married you that I just needed. a Luna to the pack, we are nothing serious and you know it. I am sorry if at some point I made you feel…” I said.

“Bad? You always had complains when I went on luxirous trips, I never got the chance to live my dream life” she said and I stared at her in disbelief.

“Lina you spend money on luxirous trips and beauty products You neglected the pack and which even resulted to abusing my son physically, I don’t want to be a part of this anymore” I said and dropped the divorce papers on the table.

“I knew this is when you tell me you are no longer interested. You think Rachel can handle this pack the way I do?” she asked mockingly.

“Do you even love Rachel or you are with her because she reminds you of Emerald” she asked and that hit me.

“That is non of your business, I will be asking my lawyer to pick the divorce papers. once it’s signed” I said and tried to leave her room.

“I will not sign then” she said with finality in her tone.

“Lina…” I trailed.

“I will not sign these papers, Alpha Xavier I cannot loose you” she said and our eyes met for brief second before I looked away.

“I will rather die than see Rachel laugh last” she said and for some reason I knew Linal meant what she just said.

“Lina, you must sign those papers or we would take it the hard way” I said and she stared at me without a single word

“Are you lost? I could show the way to the Alpha’s office” he said and she shook head while Jayden almost bit his tongue for stu pidly calling him Alpha in front of Rachel.

He had no idea Xavier had told her the truth about their identity. But then, Rachel already knows about werewolves because she herself was one of them.

Jayden could not figure out what Rachel’s motive was, what exactly did she want from them. Did she also have an eye on the pack or was merely doing all these things for someb*dy else.

“I believe you want me to see you off to the Alpha’s study room” he said again.

“No no, I just came to get something from one of the maids. I was on my way back to my room” she said and Jayden walked with her.

“I should see you off to your room” he said and Rachel shook her head negative.

“No no worries, I would walk myself to my room, I’m not that lazy” she said and turned her back towards Jayden as she walk away.

He watched her leave and immediately she was no longer in sight, he made his way into the Lina’s room again.

“What is it? I thought you were going to see the Alpha?” she said as she had the bed. sheets to cover her lower half.

“Not until I opened the door and bumped into Rachel” he said and ran his fingers in his hair in frustration.

“Bump into who?” Lina asked in shock as she sat up.

“You heard me the first time Lina” Jayden said and she sighed.

“I just wanted to be sure of what you just said. If she walked in on you like that, she might feel you and I….” she trailed as she felt the urge to faint.

“I’m sure she connected the dots together, let’s just hope she doesn’t rat us up” he said. and Lina sighed.

“I hate Rachel from the bottom of my heart” Lina said and Jayden looked away.

“This is not the time to waste our time hating Rachel, it is the time to put our plans in action. It’s high time we test what we planned…” he said and she smirked.

***ELROY POV (AUNTY MAGGIE’S SON***

“Mother we had an agreement, you said everything was falling into place and we will attack soon. I have been waiting for years” he bursted angrily as rage filled from the depth of his stomach.

“A lot is going on in the pack house, Rachel has Xavier’s attention and trust me I haven’t gotten the chance to even talk to him about the business” Aunt Maggie said as she watched her son calmly.

He reminded her of Carlos, Carlos the man she loved dearly who picked another woman over her. Not just any other woman but her own sister, shamelessly sleeping with him even after their union.

She had always wanted Carlos for herself and when he decided to marry her sister, she decided this pack was going to become hers as the Luna or belong to her son as the Alpha

“What are going thinking about?” Elroy asked as he lit up a smoke anuty Maggie his mother

“I’m pregnant Carlos” Maggie said and he stared at her calmly.

“My wife, your sister is also pregnant what do you expect from me??” he asked angrily.

“Carlos, you told me youloved me, you told me choosing my sister over me was a mistake!” she said as her voice broke by the edge.

“Now that the feutus has not formed already, you can abort it” Carlos said and her heart squeezed in hurt.

“I will not kill my unborn child Maggie declared angrily.

“What!” Penny shouted in shock as she mirrored my expression.

“Don’t you think you are mistaken? this is very issues serious” she added sofily.

“I saw him walk out of Lina’s room almost n*ked, forget the fact that they had S*x, let’s keep that aside. How sure are you that they are not working together?” I asked and she fell silent for a while.

“I didn’t think it is possible for them to be working together, like it’s just so supirising. considering the fact that he is Xavier’s best friend from what you said carlier” she said. and I stood up from my seat.

“I used to see Jayden as a good man, but what if all of that was a facade?? what if he is trying to hide his true colors by being a supportive friend?” I asked and Penny looked like she would pass out from everything I was telling her.

“So what do you intend to do?” she asked calmly.

“Mind my business and do what I came here for, that is to get my revenge” I said and she sighed softly.

Just be careful babe I don’t feel good about this whole revenge thing, it beginning to scare the living daylight out of me” she said and I shook my head negatively.

“Nothing of that sure would happen, I will be fine, infact I am fine” I said and she sighed realising I had made up my mind.

“I missed you Penny” I said and she smiled.

“I missed you more, am glad you forgave us” she said smiling.

“That does not mean I appreciate you sleeping with my father, the thought is still not appealing for now” I said and she stared at me sadly

“Blake and I understand each other perfectly” she said and I chuckled.

“I can’t get used to you calling him Blake” I said and she laughed.

“Your son Damien is laying unconsciously in the garden area” the maid said and I literally lost it.

“Wait what !” I shouted as I rushed out followed by Penny we decided to check on him

“Calm down Rachel Penny whispered to me trying to calm me down. As we got close I noticed Xavier had Damicy in his hands as they walked towards us.

“What happened to him?” I asked calmly.

“WHAT HAPPENED TO MY SON!” I bursted angrily.

“He is currently unconscious, we don’t know what happened yet. I’m pretty sure you will get the answers we need once he opens his eyes” Xaiver said and he look restless.

“My son” I said as my heart beat crazily.

I just hope I don’t loose what matter the most while trying to get my revenge.
