? XAVIER POV:
âAaaaaaaaaaaahâ he yelped in pain as I ripped his heart out I stared at his lifeless b*dy as he lay dead on the floor still in his wolf form. Just like every other night I couldnât sleep due to the nightmares that hunted me I left the pack house at the early hours of the morning for a run and that is how bumped into a group of rogues and the rest are history.
Walking towards the pack house different thoughts filled my mind I wonder if Rachel received the flowers I sent her getting to the pack house, I went straight to my room to get ready for the day.
âYou slept outside last nightâ Lina said as she stared at me with her arms folded.
âI did not sleep outside Linaâ I said calmly and she glared daggers at me.
âYou do not have any right to tell me when and where I should sleep, I have told you I slept in this room, can you just let this go already?? I bursted angrily.
âBeside, when I made you be my Luna, I said that we will never be like a real couple. You are asking for too muchâ I said obviously pis sed.

you seeing someone else Xavier ? I am your wife!â she raised her voice in equal
anger.
âYou have said it yourself, you are my wife and also a luna to this pack, then start acting like one and let me breath you are not a Leachâ I said and she looked away and started sniffing badly.
âThose tears do not work on me Lina, you have a responsibility towards the pack, start thinking about that I am a grown up man and I can take care of myselfâ I said and she raised her eyebrows.
âXavier I am your wife, I deserve an explanation we have been married for five years the least you could do is try to make me feel like your wifeâ she said and I ignored her as I walked towards the bathroom.
Immediately I got downstairs I met her talking to Derrik her eyes met mine and she smiled at him.
âDaddy !â he said and ran into my arms happily.

âHow are you?â I asked and he smiled.
âI like my new school Daddy, I met a new friend yesterdayâ he said happily.
âA friend?â I asked curiously after all I had sent him to a mixed school with both
humans and werewolves. The school was currently the best in the country and I wanted my son to get the best things life has to offer.
âWhat is the name of this friend of yours?â I asked and he smiled happily.
âHis name isâ¦.â Derrick trailed and stopped talking as Jayden walked in.
âGood morning Alphaâ he bowed and Derrick turned to him.
âGood morning Uncle Jaydenâ he said and got down from my arms.
âGood morning champ, daddy is almost late for work we need to get goingâ he said and Derrick frowned cutely.
âDonât worry son, we can talk about your friend later okay, make sure you stay out of troubleâ I said and he gave a nod.
âHe has a friend?â Jayden asked curiously as we walked out together.

I didnât know how to feel about it at that point after all, I had let Emerald leave the pack with our other son I canât imagine the things she might have done to him in other to get back at me.
I wonder if she has married that old lover of hers the man she chose over me. We got to the office and I attended different meetings through out the morning.
As I was typing on my laptop after my last meeting, Jayden walked in with the flowers I ordered.
