âSo what did she say Alpha ?â Jayden asked me teasingly and I smiled.
âWe have a dateâ I said and Jayden raised his eyebrows at me.
âJust like that? that seemed easier than I thought it will beâ he said In amusement.
âWomen who make things act fast are most complicated ones trust meâ I said and he chuckled.
âHave you tried finding your mate Jayden? you are my friend and you are not getting any youngerâ I said and he chuckled.
âI donât think that is necessary right now, I have a duty towards the packâ he said and I chuckled.
âYou have done extremely well ever since you took over as the beta Jayden, It is high time you have some funâ I said patting him on the shoulder.
âI have heard you Alpha Xavierâ he said and I gave a nod.
âI have to start preparing for my meeting with Rachelâ I said and he smiled teasingly.
âHave funâ he muttered under his breath.
The drive towards the resturant was a quiet one I stopped by on my way to get some flower
âWelcome to our resturant sirâ the guard at the door said politely as I walked in. I was ushered to the table and I sat down while scrolling through my phone I ordered for a bottle of wine while waiting patiently for Rachel.
Itâs been thirty minutes and there was still no sign of Rachel I was already thinking about leaving the resturant when I sighted her from a distant.
Looking all classy and professional, one thing I liked about her was the way she carried herself with pride, her formal pants and jacket made her look exactly like the successful billionaire that she was.
âHey, I am so sorry about the time I just had something important to finish at the officeâ she said and I gave a nod as I gestured towards the chair.

She smiled and sat down gracefully.
âGood to see you again Mr Xâ she said and I gave a nod as I stared at her.
âit is good to see you too Rachel, you call me Xavierâ I said and she smiled politely. âOkay Xavâ she said and I sucked under my breath as my heart squezed in hurt I raised my eyebrows and our eyes met for a second before I looked away.
âAre you okay Xav, did I say anything wrong?â she asked worriedly and I felt the spark again Immediately our hands met.
âNo no itâs okay, it is just Iâm not really comfortable with someone calling me Xavâ I said and she looked really curious.
âWhy? Xav is like a nickname from your name Xavier, I just thoughtâ¦â she trailed.
âI am not comfortable with someone calling me Xavâ I said as the grip on my phone got a bit tight.
âDo you mind me asking what your reasons are for coming up with that decision?â she asked and I shook my head.
âIt is kinda personalâ I said and she gave a nod in understanding.
âI guess we are sticking with Xavy thenâ she said and I chuckled.
âHow did you come up with that?â I asked and she burst out laughing I froze on the spot at how beautiful she looked in that moment. There was just something so familiar about Rachel I couldnât pick point my hand on what it was.
âIt is the Rachel magic you seeâ she said and I laughed.
âI didnât deem you as someone who had such a good sense of humor Rachel, I have heard things about you and the first impression I had of you wasnât really pleasant you seeâ I said and she smirked.
âRumours, that is all theyâll ever beâ she said and I gave a nod.
âSoâ¦. tell me about yourselfâ I said as she checked the menu on the table.
âThere is nothing interesting about meâ she said and I shook my head.
âLet me be the judge of thatâ I said and she placed the menu on the table.
âIâm just a normal girl Xavierâ she said and I gave a nod.

âI see you are just trying to be humble, there is nothing normal about you take my word for it I said and she smiled.
âItâs okay if you have your reservations am sorry for meddlingâ I said and she stared at me blankly.
âI didnât think you were meddling Xavier, I just think we havenât gotten to that point yet âshe said and I gave a nod in understanding.
We talked about random stuffs while having lunch the more I found out, the more intruiging she was to me.
âHow about we do this some other time?â I asked as we walked out together.
âThat will be lovely Mr X, I mean Xavy â she said making my heart flutter.

âI think I can say that about you too Xavierâ she said as she got close to me I froze on the spot as I felt her l*ps on my cheeks just before my l*ps.

queen.

âWe donât even know what she is Xavier, I canât attest if she is human or Werewolf doesnât that scare you?â he asked in concern.
âRachel is harmlessâ I said meaning every single word of it.
âDonât tell me you are in loveâ he said and I gasped.
âWhat no, I literally just met her am just curious about her it is nothing seriousâ I said and he fell silent.
The ride back to the office was a quiet one I got a call from Jayden that made me go straight to the pack.

I have a new friend now and we have lots of fun together hee is very shy and cute, but I like him he said and my heart warmed up I looked away as my eyes stung with tears. If only Xavier did not seperate me from my children Damien and his brother would be together now.
âWhen do I get to meet this interesting friend of yours?â I asked and he smiled.
âSoon mummyâ he said and I gave a nod.

âYes kiddoâ I answered as I tucked him in bed.
âCan you read me my favorite bed time story?â he asked and I gave a nod.
Damien liked to read about mystical creatures half way through the book he slept off, I watched him snore cutely.
âEverything is going to be alright sweetheartâ I muttured under my breath as I bent
down and k*ssed him on the forehead.
