I was with some of the elders of the pack, discussing pack issues when Jax made his way into the conference room looking like he was running from a ghost.

“Is everything okay Jaxon?” I asked as I looked in his direction.

“We have a problem Alpha” he said, as he bowed while panicking.

“What happened?” I asked, trying my best not to give away the fact that I was worried too.

“The Seer, Cephar was found dead in his place at the early hours of this morning. He was stabbed on the chest and his heart ripped out” Jaxon told me, and I didn’t know how to react to the piece of information as I stared at him quietly.

“Who will even think of doing something so cruel to cephar?” One of the pack Elders asked in shock.

“It is very clear that the enemy heard the visions he told me” I answered, as tension filled the entire room.

“He was murdered because he stood by you? who is this killer?” One of the elder asked, and I could sense the fear in their countenance. After all, they were all worried about the well being of the pack.

“So what do you suggest we do at this point?” one of them asked calmly.

“I suggest we do what anyb*dy would do at this point, get his b*dy from his house and bury him. That is the first step” I instructed, and Jax mutter a yes sir.

“His b*dy is in the custody of the police officers” Jax responded, and I signaled him to go ahead and claim his corpse from the police.

Cephar did not live in the human world which meant the cops are from the wolf realm. I ordered Jax to send a letter on my behalf, requesting for the b*dy of the dead Cephar.

Whoever killed him was trying to hide something very serious. It was more than the visions he told me, maybe just maybe, he know who the enemy was and he or she was trying to save himself/herself first

I ended the meeting with the elders and my aunt Maggie walked over to me sadly.

“Hope you are good my son? I heard what happened to seer, you guys used to…” she trailed and stared at me, trying to read my expression to see if I was affected by Cephar’s death or

not.

“Cephar was a good and peaceful man, I don’t understand why anyone would want to put an end to his life” I said calmly.

“Their are many reasons Xavier, he is a seer and definitely he has one or two enemies who would want to put an end to his life …” she trailed off.

“Whoever decided to end that mans life did it from a place of hatred, who else better than him, will understand how things work in this realm?” I asked angrily.

“He warned me about the impending danger, and suddenly he is dead. Doesn’t that point towards the fact that, whoever murdered him did it to hide something?” I asked and she stared at me.

“You are really overthinking this things? things like that happen sometimes” Aunt Maggie said, and I stare at her in disbelief.

Is she for real right now, or this is this some kind of lame joke.

“I think I have something to do aunt” I told her, as I walk out of her sight immediately. I feel like standing there would make me say something really disrespectful, and I don’t want to do something like that.

How can she even say something like that. Getting into his room, I see Emerald on the bed going through her phone.

“Hey…” she trailed with a smile on her face. I knew at that moment that she had not heard the news about Cephar’s death, or she would be worried to death,

“Babe” I called her, and walk towards her, her eyebrows raised in my direction curiously,

“Is everything okay? You are not so cheerful this afternoon, what happened?” she asked, as she drop her phon on the drawer and stood up and made her way over to me.

“I can see stress lines on your forehead, and your eyes are a mirror to your soul when you are around me. It is something I noticed recently” she said and I raised my eyebrows.

“That is new” I said with a smile on my face.

“Cephar is dead, he murdered in his house this morning” I drop the bad news, and she stared at me in shock.

“WHAT!” she screamed in shock.

“I knew you would react this way, that is the reason why I never want to tell you” I said and she looked too shocked to even react.

“The cephar I know is a very gentle and easy going man, why will anyone find pleasure in killing an innocent man” she said as her voice broke at the edge.

“Whoever killed him must be the enemies I am trying to find out” I stated and she stared at me speechlessly.

“This is what’s scaring the living day lights out of me, what if they come after us Xavier” she said slowly, as she start to have a panic attack.

“Hey hey, breathe slowly, please breath” I said rubbing her arms as she cried.

“I can’t afford to loose you babe, you don’t understand how hard it was for me to move on from the pain of our separation. Rebuilding what we lost have been hard so far, due to the things happening around us…and now this unknown killer is now in the picture” she uttered anxiously.

“You have nothing to be scared of baby, we are in this together, uhn” I said and she gave a nod as she cried.

“I can’t wait for all of these to be over, I miss our sons, I miss my sons” she whisper emotionally and I hugged her from behind sweetly.

“You know I can make that possible, right??” I asked her smiling.

“With all of these things happening around here, I don’t think it is safe to bring back our sons” she said and I k*ssed her forehead.

“It will be save by the time they come back” I told her, and she k*ssed my l*ps sweetly.

“I love the fact that we are doing this together as a family” she said and my heart warmed

After we laid Cephar to rest at the pack cemetery Xavier decided to change the structure of the whole pack. Lina moved out of Jaxons family house and rented an apartment at the end of the pack, I guess she wanted to distance herself from pack members.

We waited for almost a month and it was as if every tension in the pack had died down all of a sudden. The whole pack waited patiently, preparing for the enemy to attack but there was no sign of them attacking anytime soon so we gave up.

Xavier decided to bring the kids back since I was already missing them too much, and we see the need for them to be a part of the wedding ceremony.

We agreed that if after the wedding there is still signs of trouble, we would send them back with Penny.

“What is on your mind? You look really worried and lost in thought.” Penny asked me, and I sighed.

“It is nothing” I said and she smiled.

“I want you to stop thinking about anything else. It is your season with the love of your life, and that is the only thing that should be running through your mind” she comforted me and I smiled.

“Thanks babe. You are a good friend, and am so lucky to have you in my life” I told her as we hugged. We walked out of the designer place heading towards my car.

“Have you talked to Dad since you arrive?” I asked and she shook her head negatively.

“You said it yourself that he has refused to make things right between the two of you because he doesn’t approve of your relationship with Xavier. Why then should I forgive him for cheating on me with an unknown woman?” she asked angrily.

“I’m not saying you should forgive him now, am only saying you should talk to him and make it clear that things are over between the both of you. In a mature way” I told her, and she stared at me calmly.

“Did I act immature by not stating my reasons for the breakup?” she asked and I sighed.

“Dad still has hopes that that the relationship will work, you should make things clear from the beginning. If you don’t have any plans to go back to that relationship, you have to clarify things with him” I said and she gave a nod.

“I think you are right. If we both need to move on, then we should do things the right way” she mutter, with a smile on her face.

“I’m wishing you good luck with it” I said and she smiled.

The ride back to the pack house was a quite one. The final preparations for the wedding was already ongoing because, we had barely two days to our big day.

“Mom!” the kids screamed excitedly as they ran into my arms. I can still remember their reaction when they came back from the trip with Penny. While Derrick had been more of the calm one, Damian ask so many questions.

Xavier and I kept apologising for hiding the secret of being their parent for so long.

“You of all people should know how terrible it will be for your daughter if Elroy comes to take over the pack, and she is there with Xavier as his Luna. He might end up killing the both of them” she said angrily.

“Can’t you at least try to talk him out of it? I know am not in the right place to advice you, but don’t you think it is too risky?” Blake asked.

“We will take back what belongs to us, and even you or Xavier, not even that daughter of yours can my son from taking over as the the Alpha of the pack” Aunty Maggie bursted angrily.

“You didn’t think of all of these when you fucked me and Penny, constantly decieving the innocent girl into thinking you love her” she stated and they heard a sound outside the door.

They both turned and stand rooted on the spot, at the person standing in front of them staring at them in shock.
