Akruti Arora
I arrived at Nila's apartment after thirty minutes. The reason I tell is the traffic jam. Knocking the door of her apartment, I halted for her to open the door. A tired Nila opened the door. Locking the door behind us, I handed the food, I bought for her.
"How are you feeling now?", I asked her. She turned to me and smiled.
"Now that you're here, I'm very much fine", she replied. "And one more thing, you can go now"
Hearing this I was shocked. What the hell!?. "You just called me here to deliver your food?", I asked her in disbelief. I left Viren alone with my crazy family, and she, damn I don't wanna talk about it.
"Yes. And it was Sahil Anna's idea. He wanted to have a man to man talk with Viren. So he called me and asked you to come here", saying this she shrugged her shoulders like it was not a big deal.
"You guys are a sadist. You know my family is crazy and dad was trying to act stern. God, you guys are unbelievable.", saying this I left her apartment and that girl was laughing out loud.
"All the best girl", I heard Nila's shout. Smiling I left her apartment's premises. I couldn't help but laugh thinking about Viren's condition at home now. I wonder how he's dealing with them.
I reached home, and the scene in front of me left speechless. Viren along with my family was laughing about something, without any care. Seeing him, like this made my heart burst with happiness. To make them aware of my presence, I cleared my throat. They instantly sobered, and all looked at me innocently.
But Viren was smiling at me, with the they-love-me look. Shaking my head at him, I entered inside and sat beside Viren. He was looking at me with all the love pouring from his eyes. I wonder how wonderful it'll be when he too will love me back. Sighing at my thought, I turned towards Sahil and glared at him. But he was smirking at me.
"You idiot Sahil, just because you can have a man to man talk with him, you sent me to Nila's home.", I was literally fuming at him.
"Yeah! I've to do that. Else you'll act all like a spy kid and hear what Viren and I are discussing. So I need to do that. And FYI your boyfriend is fit and fine. We didn't do anything to him. ", Sahil replied grinning at me. I was about to reply to him back when mum cut me off.
"Okay, now enough this bickering. My poor son will get tired of it. Let's go and have our lunch", saying this she got up from the seat and others followed her suit. I just huffed in response. We all sat in our respective chairs. Dad sat on the head chair, Mom towards his right, and next to mom, sat Sahil.
While Viren and I sat left of dad. "Mom, you always do this. Whenever I'm about to reply Sahil back, you save him", I told her with an annoyed tone. Sahil was smirking at me, whilst sipping his water.
"Who told you that, I was talking about Sahil", Mom's reply made me look at her wide-eyed, whilst Sahil chocked on drinking.
"Mom you have another son?", I asked her unsure, and Sahil was looking at with horror-filled eyes. I really wanted to laugh at him, but the situation made me shoo that away. Turning, I saw my Dad giving me a knowing look, whilst Viren was smiling at her. I wonder why?
"Yeah!! Brand-new one. Everyone meet my brand-new son Viren Khanna", mom said this in the most dramatic way. I was looking between mom and Viren with my mouth forming a perfect O shape.
"Thanks, mom", this time I coughed badly and questioned them. "When did this all happen?".
"When you were on our way to Nila's home", dad replied and all I could say was 'Oh'. Turning my head towards Sahil, I questioned him. "You idiot, you were right here when mom accepted Viren as her son right?".
"Yeah.... so what I kinda forgot". Hearing his reply we all laughed at him. Seeing the lunch being served, Viren was shocked. Dad and mom literally stuffed his plate with all foods. I was happy that he was enjoying the love of his parents.
After a gleeful lunch affair, I gave Viren a tour of our home. Then we came and sat in our garden. "Thanks for entering my life happy pill. I enjoyed the day with you- I mean our parents", saying this he kissed my forehead. I smiled at him in response.

We left my house around six in the evening, after bidding bye to our parents. We reached his home after half hour journey. The moment the front door opened, I was pulled in a bear hug by Preeti.
"Let her breath Preeti", I heard Dadi's voice.
"Sorry", Preeti told with embarrassment.
"Hey it's okay", I replied to her.
After greeting Preeti, I took the blessing of Dadi and Dadu who just arrived at the front door. We went inside and made ourselves comfortable on the couch. Viren excused himself and went towards his room to change his cloth.

Viren Khanna
Excusing myself, I reached my room to fresh up myself. Taking a quick bath, I dressed in gray color, closed neck T-shirt with full sleeve pairing it with black pants I headed down. My heart was filled with happiness seeing Akruti with my family. She's mingling with them just the way I thought about her on the first meet.
Smiling at them, I sat beside Akruti. Dadi and dadi were looking at the girls who were chatting with each other without any care in the world. But hearing Preeti's question, Akruti blushed, and I was shocked.
"Should I call you Bhabhi (sister-in-law)?"
"Um... I don't know!", Akruti replied meekly. Before I could answer my grandparents bet me. "Of course you'll call her by that only. You can't call her by name or calling her Di (sister). It's better you call her bhabhi".
Akruti looked flushed and I was blushing too. "I wonder how did you agree to become his girlfriend in the first place", dadu told in a surprised tone.
"Even I'm thinking how?". Akruti's reply made everyone laugh and I sat beside her with my jaws hitting the floor.
"Vee... go give her a tour of the house.", dadi said. Nodding our head we started our home tour. "So you're thinking how you became my girlfriend at first place huh?", I asked smirking at her, while she started stammering.
"Um... V-Viren... I-I w-was just kidding!", she replied. She was about to speak again when I silenced her with my kiss. I badly wanted to kiss her this afternoon, when she was looking stunning in her peach color suit. I let her go when she was unable to breathe. She was looking beautiful, whilst blushing. I kissed her forehead this time.
"Viren... won't you introduce mom and dad to me?", her simple question made my heart burst with happiness. Nodding my head at her, we both entered my parents' room.
"This is my- sorry our parents, Vinesh Khanna and Pranita Khanna", saying this I entwined our hands together. I even saw a few tears escaping from her eyes. Wiping her tears away, I made her look at me.
"Hey why are you crying", I asked her.
"Nothing- it's just I'm overwhelmed to meet them.", saying this she hugged me and cried. What happened to her suddenly?
"Hey!! Are you okay... you're making me worried. ", to this, she just nodded her head. "I'm sorry for your parents", I heard her say.
Breaking from the hug, I cupped her face. "Why are you asking sorry? You didn't do anything!". Again I kissed her forehead. I sat on the couch and made her sit on my lap. She just hid her face in the crook of my neck.
"I wish they were here Viren. To see us like this", she mumbled. I just sighed loudly and patted her back to calm her down.
"I think they won't be happy to see you like this, happy pill. They will be scolding me right now, thinking about how their son couldn't handle their daughter.", I joked. She chuckled and beat my chest with her tiny palms.
"Will they accept me as their daughter?", she asked me with unsure filling her tone.
"Of course, they'll love to have", I kissed her forehead. "Okay now, let's get going before they hire a search party for us".
We headed to the dining room. this time it was Akruti's turn to get shocked seeing the food being served. I was laughing when she pleaded me asking them to stop. But, I just gave her a mischievous smile in turn.
"Dadi, she needs more it seems", the moment I said this Akruti stomped my right leg. "Ouch", I yelled in pain.
"What happened Viren?", Akruti asking me feigning innocence. "Nothing", saying this we all started eating.
Dinner was a joyous affair, with my family teasing us mercilessly. After chit-chatting for two hours, we left my home so that I could drop her back at her home. We stopped at the front of her house. She surprised me by initiating a kiss. I kissed her back with full emotion. Letting go of each other, our foreheads were touching each other.
Our breath was mixing with each other. She kissed my forehead and said. "Thanks for introducing such a wonderful family to me". I just kissed her one more time. I let her go when she was out of breath.
"Now sleep tight my happy pill, we need to go to Sharav's parents' function too. And get dressed in saree please.", I pleaded to her. Chuckling she nodded her head.
"You look so beautiful in saree, so only I'm asking you to get dressed in saree", I confessed to her.
"No need to butter me, Mr.Hoity- Toity. I'll wear saree", she replied laughing. I was about to catch her when she escaped and ran towards her gate.
"See you tomorrow Mr.Hoity-Toity. And you know what my wish got fulfilled of calling you by this name on your face. Night Mr.Hoity-Toity", saying this she left.
Shaking my head at her and the weird name she kept for me, I started my car and reached my home. I was about to sleep when my mobile pinged with a message. Reading this, I couldn't sleep.
" You'll open the last door of your past tomorrow."
